  2. So I haven't been on the forums to make mods in a while, but I always love checking out the showroom page. I figured I might contribute to it with my new car, My 2000 Ford Mustang GT. Its a 5 speed with a short throw shifter, and a stage 1 clutch, and slp loudmouth exhaust with a catted x-pipe. Needless to say I love it.:D

These pictures are from the day I got it, as of right now i'm waiting to get it registered, once I do, I'll upload some new pics as time goes on.

  3. So now I upgraded my system a bit, got a bandpass box for a 12'' Subwoofer, and a BAMF Power acoustik 800/2 Amp paired with a 12'' CVR kicker.

Heres a small demo of it.

I also ended up getting Kicker 6x9's as well.

And as far as performance goes, I ended up getting a bigger throttle body(56mm) vs. the stock 52mm. The end result, is better top end horsepower with a lot better responsiveness.

  4. ;409112']YouTube vids go in [TUBE*] tags (no asterisk). You put this section in the tags: IHuGIRrwG-Q So' date=' [TUBE*']IHuGIRrwG-Q[/TUBE*] (no asterisk). :)

Is this intake sound noticeable inside? It certainly sounds better from the exterior. I've been thinking about getting one for the car I drive (though it's not mine, so I'm not sure I want to spend money on it).

    -Leadfoot

    Thanks a lot man :D

And trust me, you'll never regret it if you get one. Its the best investment I've ever made to the car period. It helps both fuel economy and hp. And its defiantly noticeable. Just listen to the difference between the stock acceleration video, compared to the CAI one. You hear it every time you drive, inside or outside.

  5. So I havn't been on in a while since alots happend. My mustang had to be sold since I lost my job and couldn't pay for it. But my malibu is still with me since its half my parents car. I've been doing some work on it, such as a cold air intake, better Led ambient lighting, Preimum pioneer speakers, and some new tires.

Heres a quick comparaison in sound of my Cold Air Intake vs stock air box thing lol:

Stock 0-60 (just me in the car)

Cold Air Intake 0-80 (Me and a friend in the car, you can hear them get scared at the end lol XD)

Heres a fly-by video with the Cold Air Inake, It sounds incredible.

And Finally heres a video on my new LED's, that are a lot brighter and look a lot better too!

[mod edit:] Please embed a maximum of two videos, thanks!

Ive been looking for that car everywhere and can't find it.

Its a 1999-04 year if i'm not mistaken.

  9. ^I'd be happier driving in a 2011 Shelby GT500 then in a aston :cheeky:

To tell you the truth it was a close battle

But just the way the Aston greets you, with the amazing build quality, the Power, Beauty, Soul display on the dash, and the way you fit perfectly into the seat.. I was sold before I even started lol.

If you ever get a chance to drive an Aston, do it, by all means. You won't be disappointed .

  10. Nice. I might start saving up money so I can get a 'Stang, too :D

So far I saw a red '04 40th Anniversary Mustang GT Premium for less than 18K and with just under 7,000 miles on it. Plus it's only 37 miles from my house, and it's just really sexy

That's my dream one, but if I can't get it first, I'll probably get another Mustang first. Which is fine by me, since I still have the honor of driving an amazing car :excited:

How much was yours, and what do you think of the value of the one I like?

To be honest that is the biggest rip off I have ever heard. You can get a brand new 2011 Mustang with 300hp, for 21k. A 2004 GT like you said should be worth maybe 14-15k, and its only got 260hp. I got mine for 5.5k, because I negotiated with the owner. With 110k miles on the clock, the car it runs like new, and has never let me down yet. Its easily the best buy I have ever made :)
