The Cinque is interesting because it has been seen with both types of wheel. The proper deep rim and the annoyingly flat variety. Hopefully it's the former just like the Zonda F appears to be sporting.

Winner of this will go on the banner again! Then after that the banner may go TDU2 only OR be split between TDU and TDU2 allowing entries from both basically (more than likely!). Images should be bigger than the original 800 that's requested, in fact the minimum size is 850px wide now.

The car maker Subaru and the anime studio Gainax posted the second 46-second promotional video trailer for their Hōkago no Pleiades (Afterschool Pleiades) original net anime this past weekend. The Pleiades is the English name for the star cluster that the Japanese call "Subaru" — the origin of the car maker's name and six-star logo. [smg id=419 type=av] The original story's staff includes director Shouji Saeki (Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri, Strike Witches 2 episode storyboarder), concept artist and original character designer Daisuke Kikuchi (Gurren Lagann, Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri), and character designer Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Hanamaru Kindergarten). Also involved are art director Hiroshi Kato (Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Jo/Ha, Gunbuster 2), director of photography Toyonori Yamada (Gurren Lagann, Hanamaru Kindergarten), and color key artist Chie Yoshimura (Chou Gekijouban Keroro Gunso, The Big O). The anime project will premiere exclusively on the YouTube website in high-definition on February 1. Source:ANN

The concert will feature virtual character versions of Sheryl and Ranka via 3D computer graphics. More details will be available from the official Macross Frontier website and Twitter account. The second film in the science-fiction romance franchise, Macross Frontier ~Sayonara no Tsubasa~, will open in Japan on February 26. Rui Tamachi's Gokicha (Cockroach Girls) dōjinshi manga about an anthropomorphized cockroach is being adapted by MOVIC into an anime for mobile phones. Tamachi (also written as Tamati) released the manga under the dōjin (self-published) circle name Rui-Tomo at the Comic Market 77 event in December of 2009. The title character Gokicha is a cockroach (gokiburi in Japanese) who came to the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido from Tokyo's Kanto area to look for a human friend. The first dōjinshi manga about Gokicha was titled "!!," and the second volume, "!!!," shipped at Comic Market 78 last August. Nerd-Goods.com already sells a t-shirt based on the character. According to the advertising for the mobile phone anime, Mamiko Noto will voice Gokicha and Rie Kugimiya will voice her friend Chaba. Source:ANN

The official Twitter account and website of the Tamayura anime project has announced on Saturday that a television anime series has been green-lit. The announcement was first made at "Tamayura Zenwa Jōei Event ~Itsuka Omoide ni Natteiku" — the screening of the 2010 original video anime version that was held in Tokyo that same day. The four main voice actresses (Ayana Taketatsu, Kana Asumi, Yuka Iguchi, Yuko Gibu) recorded a video message, which is streaming on the website, to celebrate the announcement. Junichi Sato (Aria, Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu) created the story of the original video anime version and directed its two volumes. The story follows Fū Sawatari (Taketatsu), a girl who lives in a waterside town near the Seto Inland Sea and takes photographs with her late father's film camera. It was Sato's third "healing anime" after Aria and Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto~, and Hal Film Maker produced the animation. The broadcast dates and other details of the television version will be provided on the website and on Twitter. To celebrate the announcement, the staff will give away two posters with signed scripts from the video version, as well as three five-piece coaster sets, to people who send Twitter messages with "たまゆらTVシリーズ化決定!" (Tamayura TV Series Adaptation Green-Lit!") and the hashtag #Tamayura by January 25. Tamayura Radio Drama Plus, a drama CD for the original video anime version, will ship on March 30. The CD will feature the seven episodes of the online Tamayura Radio program plus a new 40-minute audio drama episode written and directed by Sato. Haruko Iizuka, the character designer of the anime, is illustrating the CD jacket cover. Source:ANN

It's a start, I'm sure the people who will stay with the game like they have done with TDU will be showing what they want to Atari and Eden. As what people have to remember is the "Next big thing" (Nbt) crowd will disappear when the Nbt comes and we'll be the ones still playing, wanting MOOAR and buying the DLC. :D

I'll be saying what I think of the game be it good or bad regardless. The point of a community is to talk about and help improve the game they are about, sometimes that means you need to be cruel to be kind. :bananadance:

Rabcat 2010 Portfolio shows more TDU2 goodies?
Eudemon replied to Eudemon's topic in Driving & Racing Games
You are correct, more than likely these models were created during TDU's release, however don't forget the rumours about TDU2 coming in 2008. They never came true but that doesn't mean that wasn't the plan as remember the documents about Atari showing they wanted or had a proposal to have TDU2 in 2008 and TDU3 in 2010. :D However with the things B has been saying it's a little coincidental for what is shown here to be false. Only time will tell though! -
A member here called cadcla has found a very interesting PDF document containing pictures of some of the cars and vehicles we may see coming to TDU2 in the future. As you may know Rabcat do a fair amount of work for the games industry and in fact did a good number of the car modelling for the original TDU. In 2009 they had 'Test Drive Unlimited 2' listed as a current project to which it was then changed to 'Confidential' but as with almost everything on the internet screens were taken before this happened. Well as with every new year Rabcat post up their portfolio and work done for the previous year and TDU is mentioned where it looks to actually mean TDU2 due to the showing of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Not going to spoil any surprises but check out the PDF yourself and see what it shows. I think you'll like it and it caters to many areas of auto enthusiast! Rabcat 2010 Portfolio (Page 17 for TDU/2)

The handling will be a talking point as it is in almost every game that comes out however it's not as bad as people are trying to make out. The videos showing the Fanatec do show negatives that's true but he has said the G25 seems to be better supported so who knows. If you're on the fence or are waiting to see what others will say then that's fair but note that there are people who want this game and also those who bought the first had to put up with a fair amount of crap at the start but they got it working and if you think about it how can they know what's wrong if no-one tells them. So rest assured many others will be on the case and this should result in a game everyone can find a place they are happy with in regards to the handling. Remember you don't have to buy the game.

Great find! +rep I've been waiting for the Rabcat Portfolio to become available as it always has the possibility of showing good stuff. :D [+] Please continue the Rabcat discussion here: http://forum.tdu-central.com/showthread.php?t=23341

For the last couple of days a few videos have been getting everyone excited, no not that kind but no doubt they have also been getting people excited but we're talking about TDU2 so clean your mind, thank you. Anyway Team VVV a well known Racing Team/Group of People have managed to get their hands on a review copy of TDU2 and is doing an amazing job of showing it off. Using a Fanatec Porsche Wheel on the PS3 we are seeing the start of the game and also some of the progress that will be happening via Championships and also the Challenge types. During the play tests he also comments on what is happening good and bad so it's well worth a watch for any and all discerning TDU2 followers. If you're on the fence also then it's a great watch and should answer your questions (check the comments also!) be they good or bad. Enjoy and massive thanks to VVV for putting these vids up for us to watch. :bunny: Team VVV Test Drive Unlimited 2 Hands-on Previews *posted in the order they were uploaded* Hands-on Preview Click if video above doesn't show First Look 1.1 Click if video above doesn't show First Look 1.2 Click if video above doesn't show First Look 2 Click if video above doesn't show First Look 3 Click if video above doesn't show First Look 4.1 Click if video above doesn't show First Look 4.2 Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 5.1 Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 5.2 Bugatti Showroom Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 5.3 Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 5.4 Ferrari Showroom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbBCpLMCxAA Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 6.1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc2B6e7CcIU Click if the video above doesn't show Scenic Cruise 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6U_XFcVKa6E Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 6.2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo23t0gBIT0 Click if the video above doesn't show McLaren MP4 12C Special https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6JyPElDoaw Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 6.3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N17MkqBSm3Q Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 6.4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_4sy-IqSPk Click if the video above doesn't show Scenic Cruise 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1sbV6Z_efU Click if the video above doesn't show First Look 7.0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GasfqiPN9DQ Click if the video above doesn't show Scenic Cruise 1 Hawaii https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dyr_b8uuqu0 Click if the video above doesn't show

Haha the 360 could handle 10+ no problem, people have had it when the server count glitch happens. I've been in an instance in TDU with 12 before and they were all Japanese. lol TDU/2 is p2p, this is the issue, if they could go dedicated then more could be shown on screen due to the server doing the work rather than having to wait for everyone's machine to connect to the host machine and back.
