Thanks nipper, I appreciate the comments and you should really try this it's great fun but it's really difficult though I am getting used to it now and can zip through traffic either way now, crashes are inevitable but not as much as before. lol If you've ever watched Ghostrider you will see that the picture-in-picture (PiP) is from there and caning that F430 felt so good especially since he was being an ass constantly challenging and knocking me off my bike. And you're right about the speed, I never noticed until I started playing about with the chrono: The MV does 0-60 in about 1.7/1.8secs, hit's 100 within 3.5secs and will do 200mph in 11secs !! Also managed to get 231mph from it in Hardcore mode yet in normal I could only ever manage 230. lol

It only shows up in the TDU Central default skin as that is the skin we're working on and will be using once we have completed the site and have everything active.

If it's the same as the 360 then when in the interior view it will speed up your left right view to 5 times the normal and if done from outside the car it locks the camera to that position, makes for some good angles for videos. :)

I'm waiting till it goes down in price and tbh the launch games aren't really worth anything apart from maybe the FREE GT:HD demo. As for it being rubbish, that's no chance and to even compare the 360 to PS3 graphics wise at this time is absurd as noone can get the best out of a system in a first wave of releases. When the second wave are released about 2 years after launch then you can start comparing but right now it's just fanboys saying crap as always. As for copying, Sony has always wanted to do something like the Marketplace, in fact I remember reading when GT3 was coming up for launch that Kazunori Yamauchi-san (GT producer) wanted to provide downloadable parts and features in the future of the GT series and other devs have said the same like Hideo Kojima of MGS fame. And the argument about the Wii is a funny one, Sony has had a motion sensor controller patent since 1999 but never acted upon it so yes the copied Nintendo in the timing but they never copied the technology. It's all a waiting game to be honest and in the end it will come down to the games but I will say of GT5, enthusia 2 (please please please Konami!!), GTR (?) come to PS3 with full FFB wheel support from Logitech then the PS3 will become the racers choice again. I personally am just hoping that Polyphony Digital get their finger out and make GT5 the ultimate Gran Turismo that KY has always envisioned as Turn 10 and Forza are constantly raising the bar for the console racer.

Yep PGR is always bi-annually and released in November for the Christmas rush ever since the first MSR I believe.

The achievements are the points yeah and also your game % will equate to your points x 10. IE 45% = 450 Points thus Champion. I think it's 450, might be 650. lol

I don't know why the are charging more for it though! I mean a 120Gb HDD probably costs Microsoft like $20 or something and an HDMI port costs about $3 and they are saving money with the new processor manufacturing that is about to come into effect. As one Xbox magazine points out this + HD-DVD = $680, PS3 = $699. Not much difference in there now.

What you should do is make sure you have your gamespy id in your profile (User CP > Profile) and also maybe do what is going on with the 360 section and post a Player list thread and get a collection of PC players in there who you can add to your list or look for on the map. :)

If you go to your house and then Info > Achievements you will see where you currently are in the points and how far you have to go to reach Champion. You can also check the easy methods of achieving these points like some of the ones mentioned above. It will take a wee bit of time but it's reachable.

I think they did actually mention that they could only record a few dozen cars to get their actual sound whereas locating an Enzo, SLR, Challenger in France and a dyno while everyday Atari looked like it could be going down was too much at the time. They should take note for TDU2 though. Though I have to admit the Corvette Convertible from the latest DLC has a better sound at high rev-range than the other muscles imo.
