  1. Aha Playing time is all the time you've spent in the game anywhere, driving time is the addition of Playing time (cars) + Playing time (bikes) = Actual on the road time (time calculator) So taking this into account and just for the hell of it I'm: 29692 / 500 hours = 59.38mph (95.56km/h)
  2. Wow the unmarked police cars must be exotics with the amount of money they bringing in. lol
  3. Niiiiiice, I now have about 1800 miles between the 3, had a crazy drive with a few people from ForzaC and TDUC, was cool.
  4. Hey there Niki_Chow/Robbie, welcome to T to the D to the U to the C-entral, yeah yeah ! lol Good to have you here and thanks for signing up !
  5. Hmm good question and not sure if you'll believe me but it's all handcoded. :) I design the layout and slice the images I need then I jump into my ConTEXT free text editor and just start typing away, saving, previewing, testing then inevitably fixing. I have Dreamweaver but never really use it unless I'm trying to do something crazy and nest a load of tables but now with CSS I am starting to learn you do not need tables, though that doesn't mean I'll never use them as there's just some tabular data that you can't display properly without a table ! Sorry went slightly off-topic, in all honesty TDU Central is a test bed for me as well as a playground, I'll be messing with Flash later in the year, I will play around with the design, I'll add maybe different skins to the site itself as well as learn databasing and scripting more than I do right now. I'm looking forward to it a great deal and I hope you all are too. :D
  6. I'm not. :D Number of arrests: 108 Total fines: $21,114,086 (3.93%) (Total fines / Number of arrests = Average fine) Average fine: $195,500.80
  7. Wow MaD idea there aSp. :D Mine is 29,692 / 682 hours = 43.54mph (70.07km/h) Lucky 7 !!! lol I have spent a fair amount of time sitting by the side of the road sometimes and also when capturing video but I'm happy with that speed plus so close to the 30,000 mile mark !! Woohoo !!!! :monkeydance: LOL 635 hours are of Champion.
  8. Melbourne House really did a fantastic job on this also looks like they replaced the maintenance trucks with box trucks which actually look good plus I like the swivel movement inside the car though the perspective is slightly wall-eye. Anyone looking for some driving fun on the PS2 should get this.
  9. Yes you will require a memory unit with that device.
  10. I believe you need to download the drivers from Microsoft's website and also make sure you don't have any game controllers plugged into your PC at the same time. Scratch that, found this:
  11. Please do not discuss methods of acquiring media in those methods or asking for it publicly on the board. Thanks !
  12. Download the first and the new to the show #2. http://www.uk.atari.com/index.php?pg=product&id=148 Enjoy! :D
  13. So the general consensus is "I like", well that's good to know. Thanks for the feedback all, appreciated!
  14. :monkeydance: Close to the 20's now me lad, lol. Have a good one mate and remember to drink as much as possible and hurt yourself in some way but only feel the pain when you wake up the next day with a sodding hangover. :bananasplit:
  15. NWA TA I will do my best in the coming weeks to get a banner to you and good luck with the site, btw Googlbot, MSN Live Bot and Yahoo's Slurp! spider are viewing this thread right now ! :) Keep an eye on Google in the next 2 weeks. ;)
  16. Hey there Woodo that is a nice start you have there, I like the colourised header and typeface you're using, looks like it might be flash oriented or is going to be a mixture of static, dynamic and flash? Checked out your website too, nice work over there also. This is my first main personal project and I'm determined to make it work and have been putting a lot of time in and jumping in deep to learn how, why, when and don't. lol Strangely I'm doing this site/forum first then creating my portfolio so that I have a main project I can show then from then on in it's full steam ahead. It's fun, frustrating yet fulfilling when you see something you have done come alive and being enjoyed, well that's the plan anyway ! Thanks scriv, the Goat Washing always gets a laugh.
  17. Hi there mate welcome to TDU Central and cheers for signing up. BTW why have you registered 2 accounts? :)
  18. I was offered $12m for my MV Augusta with about 4800 miles on it via a message on Live! Mainly because of the videos it's been on and because it's good at building jumping. lol
  19. This video has been posted by audigp3 of him playing the PS2 version of TDU, apart from the expected drop in graphics the game looks like it is essentially the same as the PC and Xbox 360 in size and features including the interiors which is a great accomplishment on behalf of Melbourne House who developed the PS2 and PSP versions. Enjoy!
  20. Well we got tired of having that ugly looking white background page with some gaudy Times text directing you to the boards so as we are progressing well with the site we have thrown up a month old homepage and have added a little notice to the top. (current one is in debugging stage) For those of you who haven't seen the design of the site we hope you like what you see and note we are on target for the March release, at least of phase #1 anyway !! Thanks guys, we really appreciate you being here and we hope you like what we are doing !! View the homepage here >> http://www.turboduck.net/ (you may need to refresh to see it properly) :D
  21. Hey there Celt, :welcome: to the board and thanks for signing up. I'm sure you'll find a few PC gamers to cruise and race with on the board now and in the future and glad to see you're enjoying the game. Oh we aim to please with the smilies. :D
  22. The reason I asked about the beta is those who are using the same gamespy id from the beta had better luck when they signed up a new gamespy id. This board is kind of new but hopefully that will pick up in the near future so I would like to point you to the Official Atari UK boards PC Tech Help thread: http://forums.eu.atari.com/forumdisplay.php?f=459 If you solve the issue please post it here and maybe we can get a Tech FAQ going. Thanks.
  23. Well looking at the stats I can see there are about 20 people who have registered but haven't activated so this is why I am doing this. I will also be emailing these people after 30 days of their original sign up date and then if nothing in 60 days they will be deleted from the system as info like that just adds split seconds to database queries and imo the more optimised the better !
  24. Hey there nitrox welcome to the boards mate and we're getting a response from the Belgians which is cool to see. Enjoy the board and hopefully we'll catch you on the island !
  25. Have you opened up all the ports as stated in the readme? And did you take part in any of the betas?
