It really surprises me that some are squabbling about what TDU2-UP is and what not, instead of enjoying the game. It brought back my joy of playing it and i will continue to support Xarlith C.S. with testing, ideas and suggestions. The TDU2-UP Team makes both Atari and Eden Games look like total idiots with their lack of support. Thats for sure.:D I'm glad the UP team picked up the pieces of what once was a broken game in many aspects. Keep up the good work.

UCD Oahu should display 6 car classes. It should show A2 A3 A4 A5 B3 C3 The 300C Police is A4. Check what classes are not present and do a low Solar Crown Cup race with those missing classes. After that the missing class should reappear in the UCD. Epic cars. +1
-
And this one. Especially what he says about RUF. OK enough off topic. I think Xarlith got the message :D
-
First of all, thanks to Alois RUF we have "Porsche" in the game. RUF is a real Porsche fanatic, who restores Porsches and builds his own cars, based on Porsche chassis. He is also a true legend as his RUF CTR Yellowbird won the first Road and Track festival of Speed, leaving all other supercars in the dust. He is also a long time friend of TDU:cool: What is really stupid is exclusive licensing, that prevents some games to have more cool brands in them due to license limitations. I would suggest adding more RUFs to the game :D, starting with CTR Yellowbird CTR3 Dakara And maybe Porsche can be added as well if there are good models available and a talented modeler will convert them to TDU2. For example CarreraGT 918 356 And you can always swap carbodies, like mentioned above. But RUF is far from stupid, on the contrary:cool:
-
If you want to drive it full throttle all the way, get NFS. For TDU2 standards the handling of the Skyline is pretty good. I did a test run with it, this time in FA for a Private CRC, while i prefer SP because it brings the cars more to life. It does react good on steering input and i was able to push it. If you want to powerslide, try HC mode, but this car drives well. :D
-
Maybe because you run other mods? Try the patch on a vanilla unpacked game and it will work:cool: It is in the UCD Oahu because it is an A4 car. UCD Oahu has A2 A3 A4 A5 B3 C3 UCD Ibiza has A6 A7 B4 C4 :D
-
Try the UCD:cool: PS Maybe this has been asked before:confused:
-
If everybody gives you a link, you might end up with a lot of them:lol: But try xarliths unpacker. Link in the OP  Or on the UP website TDU2 Unofficial Patch

The Physics of the Shelby GT500KR are designed to kill you. It will give you a hard time mastering, but you can drift it with some practice.:D
-
Very nice  Will you make a HD Traffic pack?
-
In that case, switch to bumper cam and think you're in a GT-R34, lol :D Maybe some more extreme tuning options are possible in the future, including class upgrades. Who knows. US Muscle Tuner:cool:
-
Thanks Xarlith for the quick fix:thumbsup: V03B:cool: A friend of me had a similar request for a Nismo Skyline. Insane Japanese Tuners, lol. Could be fun:D

There will be an update soon that will bring vanilla cars more to original specs. There was a bug. An additional C5 class is indeed one of the solutions to make the classification system better. It could also be the home of the Fiat 500 Topolino (with suicide doors) In regards to other suggestions, i think the TVR and Nissan GT-R are fine in A2. I can win races with both of them. The Atom300 is not to be underestimated. If you make a challenge from the observatory to the sea, downhill, and do a few test runs, you will see that a fully tuned Veyron SS does it in around 54 seconds and the Atom 300 in 56s. As long as there are no long straights involved the Atom will be surprisingly fast on curvy tracks. Way too fast for A2 IMO. But some cars don't really belong between those GT cars. Track day cars like that should have a class of their own, Atom 300 together with the BAC Mono, Lotus ExigeR and Caterham 500R for example. Would make a nice T3 class:cool: But again, this will only work if everybody uses the patch. Otherwise it would mess up online gameplay too much.

And maybe some Ferraris would become too fast. Ferrari intervened a lot in this game. No car wash, no tuning, not even paint. They gave the Eden devs a hard time, instead of being more cooperative like in TDU1. Fortunately for us there is TDU2UP for the rescue. We should get Xarlith a Cape. I think there can be a way around this. As some of you might know, Jude (still in bracers at the UCD after he was bitten in his ankle by Miamis doggy) sometimes sells illegal Ferrari Tuning parts for A3 and C3 Ferraris. Maybe A2 can be added to those cycles as well. Maximum tuning level you can find at the UCD is L2. That would make the Italia and Scuderia better at keeping up in a straight line with the A2 Pagani and Ruf. Just a thought. Funny you mention that, as this was a great feature of TDU1. When you tuned some cars too strong, they would go up a class. Calling it messing with handling is a bit disrespectful IMO. If the Eden devs hadn't messed up the handling in the first place, no tweaking would be needed. There are some nasty bugs in the core physics, like the 4WD bug, that makes cars with 4WD slide twice as much as RWD or FWD cars. Part of the TDU2UP is fixing some handling issues, like the blocking brakes for example. A more subtle tweak that makes the cars much better to drive as the brakes don't lock up so fast under braking, making the cars better to control under braking. Also the curb kicks have been fixed for a large part, including cars getting stuck in the tarmac while driving. Some massive improvements IMO. Sometimes unforeseen side effects can be introduced as a lot is intertwined in the programming. And, unlike Eden/Atari, the TDU2UP team gets right on it to fix. They pumped out more fixes and new content in a few months as Atari did in a few years. Also the handling of most additional cars is better than a lot of the vanilla game cars IMO. First unpack the game with the unpacker. Second install the patch. Check the OP for instructions and links Aston V12 Vantage should indeed be in A3. Also the Caterham R500 is more A2 material than A4 hahaha. I even smoked a Veyron and a Stirling with it in an instant challenge (City area off course;)) But re-balancing classes will only work if everybody uses this patch. And from the looks of it, last weekend there were more players using the patch, as i was in a cruise with 6 Saleens S7. Very cool stuff. The word is spreading fast.:D

The Big Brands Clothes on Oahu  central map, close to Gas Station.

There are many mistakes made with the car data in the default game. Veyron states inline 6 engine lol. But the ZR1 should be in A1 with its original data. Data used in the game is from the "Z06" C6. In addition to that there are some modeling errors as well on various vanilla models. Problem is that you completely need to rework the model to make a single change. It can be done, but takes a lot of time. I prefer them working on new stuff:cheeky: Better focus on the additional models from the team. Some class changes would indeed be interesting. I have mentioned an additional class above the A1. Don't know if the game dynamics allow that. But a supercar class would give the lower A1 rides more use. Also the Ascari A10, RUF RT12 and Mclaren MP4 could be in A2. With some balancing off course. Slower Ascari could be sent to A3 etc. The moment you start to hassle with in game balance and dynamics, other issues will emerge for sure. For starters the non-UP users... IMO new rides for the next patch should remain a "secret" of the developers. V03 has just been released. Enjoy driving them first. V04 has just begon. :eek2: I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised with next release.

Very nice  And thanks for looking into some "minor" stuff as Hawaii shirts as well. Highy appreciated. There is some more waiting for sure :D

Stock is FA i think. All Driving School Tests are taken in Sport Mode. In FA and with a couple more tries i would be a few seconds faster for sure. But that was not the goal of this video. It is just to show that you can manage the F12 if you adapt your driving to it. Al cars have a little learning curve. Not too hard. The CRC Challenge is called CKs Club to Casino, for those who want to give it a shot ;)

TDU2UP F12berlinetta Test Run I did a little test with the F12 on one of my favorite slopes. This testrun is uploaded to the CRC, so everybody can have a go at that time (Private and Public). Uploaded after 3 attempts. Driven in Sport Mode and with Sequential Gears. Controls: Fanatec CSW and CSP Have Fun:nuts: PS: Turn up the volume !

You must be confused with The Crew demo. Has some TDU DNA but is unrelated further. If you watch a few Youtube vids, you will see the Veyron needs twice the distance to brake from 300-0 as an Agera.... IMO TDU2UP team has taken the right course with the Physics. All new rides are fun to drive and much better than most default cars. Maybe some of the Vanilla game rides need some attention. But overall things have improved.
-
A big complaint of the community has always been the locking brakes. Brakes in the TDU2UP do not lock up, like in the default game, so you can control the car under braking. Brake strength has decreased a little, but you can still brake in time, if you adapt your driving to it.
-
Very nice:thumbsup:
-
That was supposed to be a joke:confused:
-
Off course there will be bugs. Even some default interiors don't show up right. If you have followed the UP untill now, you might have noticed that last version had cars added to dealerships but the color selector didn't work. That is fixed with V03, just like other things will be fixed in future versions of this patch. 1. Please take in consideration that the guys behind this patch do this in their spare time. Fixing things the devs should have done ages ago and also adding cool new rides. 2. Maybe StarGT just likes Orange because everybody loves the Netherlands, 3. If it is too bright you can pick up some new sunglasses at the new clothes store. (slightly bugged too) So please enjoy all the cool new rides and other fixes, thank you

Maybe a nice feature to put in a Future version; be able to make a custom license plate  Love the R34 Skyline. Physics are very good as well.
