    I just started 2 days ago and I'm hooked. My friend and I joined the overclock.net server. We went out into the forest and started with a small cabin and tried to mine, make food, and all that good stuff. We're kinda failing at the moment.

    That may be why. What GPU do you have? & FSX unfortunately isn't the most optimised game for using all your hardware correctly.

    What quality are you capturing on? I'd recommend 720p at the highest.

    Compressed means it's a lesser quality. Uncompressed is lossless. That uses more GPU though. I recommend capping at 30. That'll force your FPS to 30 as well.

    Did you figure it out yet? The latest beta has it, all you have to do is hotkey it and set it up the way you want it to record.

    Yeah the sky too looks amazing when it's a video and not a screenshot. The stars twinkle and all that good stuff.

    It's in the EnB setting. The closer you get, the stronger it gets. Supposed to simulate real life with your eyes and whatnot. I think it does a good job.

    If you are going to upgrade your GPU, I'd recommend upgrading your CPU as well. You'll have bottleneck issues if you don't.

    I should rephrase that. Hardly had any problems, and it's not like they were absolutely horrible. XFX had a poor design with these cards. Other than that, they would play all my games decently. Skyrim was a bit of trouble with its built-in, awful vsync but it's nothing a small bit of work couldn't fix and I just had the settings a bit too high anyway and too much AA. But anyway I'm not going to sit here and argue fanboy vs. fanboy considering I've never owned an nVidia product.

    The card was $240 in BRAND NEW condition. I have been looking for a 6850/70 or making the push for a 7950. I was saving for a 7950 when I saw this. I don't think you realise how bad my 6850's were/are. Horrible cards. They stutter all the time. They idle at 45-50* (I have excellent airflow) and sound like an airplane even when I'm watching a youtube video.
