  1. I know this is very general, but I love mods and always wanted to make one myself and I don't know how. I know how to edit textures, but nothing else. I'm guessing there may be a link to some thread that talks about this, but I could never find one. I'm thinking specifically of making my own car models, sounds, or the weather/environment. Thanks!;)
  2. If your downloading a save file, then go to My Documents/Test Drive Unlimited/savegame. Delete your current save file folder and the profile list document. Then just put the new save game in its place. I'm not so sure if you can play online with a downloaded save file. If you want to play online with your own file, then when you first make the file, it will ask for a name. Put in your gamespy name if you have one. If not, then just make a new name. Check off the gamespy icon and then fill in the rest of the information to play online. Have fun!:)
  3. Yeah, it's a great steering wheel imo. I like it a lot and it's good quality.
  4. Wow... I did't know I was so stupid, I just wanted to make sure...:mad: Anyway, it looks like I'll try to get that megapack.
  5. Ok, so it is important for mods. That's what it seemed like. I think I might get it, especially if I can sell it if I want :). So downloading it for free isn't a good idea, right?
  6. I was thinking about buying the megapack. I don't know if it's really worth it, because I won't be using too many of the cars and will probably stop playing TDU in a few months. I wanted to buy the pack because I noticed many mods require the megapack, including the community patches and many vehicle mods, and I also was interested in some of the cars that came with it. So, is it worth buying? Also, I noticed many videos talking about downloading it for free, although I'm assuming that's illegal.
  7. Thanks so much :D! I think deleting that file fixed the problem. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling now.
  8. I've had TDU for the PC for awhile now. It was working fine for months and now all of the sudden it very often freezes when the game automatically saves :sulk:. I downloaded a bunch of mods from this website and I thought that might be the problem, but even when I reinstalled the same problem kept happening. My computer isn't that powerful compared to most gaming computers, although before the game played just fine. Please help! Wow that was long
  9. I have this game for PC, but I'm disappointed that these packs aren't available on the PC version. Now I'm going to sell the game and buy it for the 360.
  10. I see you went on my site :)

  11. That's a good idea. If my cousin doesn't have the 360 anymore, I might sell my PS2 to buy it.
  12. As I said before, I also think the 360 will be just so much easier than trying to fix my computer. Plus, I can get the 360 (w/o hard drive) for free!
  13. I agree with that. When I started PC gaming, it didn't feel like I was really playing a video game. I like playing with a TV and a gaming system more. Also (I know this is like my 10th question:D), but what do you need a hard drive on the 360 for?
  14. I was just about to ask about the MOMO. That's too bad, because I just got it for my birthday in May. I have TDU on the PC also, so I guess it wouldn't be worth it to buy it for the 360. Does anyone have some information about Xbox 360 online play and the 360 in general?
  15. Well, it seems like everyone thinks PC is better, but honestly I've had enough of trying to fix all of my problems with it and I'm not going to buy a whole new computer. Also, what 360 games are the best ones?
  16. Yeah, I thought it was so expensive and I really didn't think I needed all the fancy stuff. And it seems like many of the newer games aren't being made available on PC, tell me if I'm wrong.
  17. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: My cousin can give me his Xbox 360 for free, and then I just need to buy a hard drive. Would I be able to plug in my Logitech MOMO Force Feedback wheel for the PC into a Xbox 360 and use it?
  18. I have been playing video games on my PC with a new video card and more memory (2G) now since January. Unfourtunatley, almost every one of the games I played on it had problems. I'm now looking into the Xbox 360, but I don't know a whole lot about it. Here's a few questions that I have: 1. Would it be better to buy a new video card and keep playing on PC or get an Xbox 360? 2. What's better about each system than the other one? 3. What games do you recommend to get (besides games with a lot of violence)? Thanks in advance!
  19. It is a Dell by the way. Really? Maybe we'll try upgrading the computer then.
  20. Yeah, I'm thinking then maybe he'll just get a whole new gaming computer. I didn't think he'd be able to play games with his current computer anyway. Thanks for all your help :)
  21. I don't think so, but I'll have to check.
  22. My friend has a computer with a 2.40 GHz processor. If he got a really really good video card, would he be able to play games like TDU and Need for Speed even with his low processor? His motherboard is the 02Y832 model. Also, what would the bus for this motherboard be?
  23. For my very first POTW entry:
  24. The last two didn't show... Maybe I'll buy the 9600 GT, although it was more expensive than the 9400 by $50
  25. Hi, Here's some of my TDU pics. I have a lot more on my profile page. Enjoy :) (sorry this is really bad quality) Strange things: http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1266 http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1265 http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1261 Other: http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1263 http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1260 http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1259 http://forum.turboduck.net/album.php?albumid=191&pictureid=1246
