  1. None of the files in the two test .DAT files seemed large enough to be audio files. Files were either small (<100KB) or large (200MB+).
  2. Interestingly, the biggest file happens to be the SWF. The RIFF and PSB files are <100KB in size. The particular .DAT I extracted is global_sounds.dat (299MB). For common_sounds.dat (852MB), the biggest file (only 2 total) is the PSB (typically for Photoshop and other Adobe software).
  3. Works! :) Tried extracting some of the sound .DAT files. Within are thousands of small text files and various-sized psb/riff/swf (not a Flash file) files. Not sure how to open those. Not sure if I want to at this point.
  4. It crashed upon launch. The manual mentions requiring tio.dll and zlib-1.2.1.dll that I don't have. I tried a different DAT tool from that site, and it kept creating endless nested folders called (null). Assuming they're different types of DAT archives.
  5. As the title suggests, is it possible to extract files from .dat files?
  6. Anddddd it keeps crashing on my iPhone. Might be because I'm running iOS 10 beta 2. Oh well. Not that interested if it's not open world.
  7. Currently downloading on my iPhone 6+. Had to make a Canadian iTunes account.
  8. I know I've said this before, but it's still nice to see real people playing TDU1. And now, TDU2:
  9. Giving LIMBO a play.
  10. TDU2! pCARS! I've been playing pCARS for multiple years, and it's still the buggiest game I've ever played.
  11. Finished Firewatch. Was a nice short story. I should play more smaller titles sometime. I usually just stick with larger AAA games.
  12. It's been playable for me after the very first patch.
  13. Oops... Forgot the spoiler tags :). Yes, #PCMasterRace.
  14. Anddddd finally finished the story.
  15. Some random Just Cause 3 screenies.
  16. Plan is to use it for a week and return it.
  17. 50 players :O. It's been a while since I opened TDU1 on a weekend, but I've never seen this many people on PP before. Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. Oops...
  18. 10,000 miles on my ZR1 after almost 5 years.
  19. How much did it cost you?
  20. WOO, KASEY KAHNE. (Even though I'm not a fan of his anymore...)
  21. Good news! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXQ2ZZcTMpc I really think that launching the Logitech Profiler before the game starts was the trick. I got the idea recently from Project CARS. Unless I start Logitech Profiler, for some reason, there's a 99.9% chance the game will stall at a black screen before launch. Every time I launch Logitech Profiler first, pCARS will open normally. And yes, that's also under W10 x64 (10586.318). Steering feels noticeably better than before, actually. Shifting is still weird, where it just doesn't always shift (using paddles) when I tell it to. Could be the way the car / game is, though. Also, the online mod in general is something that I want to see stick around forever. If something happens to the server or its operator, is there a backup plan?
  22. Random TDU1 online screenshots:
