  1. Hi, I have this error and I can't uninstall... it says something like this.... " Exception spotted:Unable to replace packed file: D:Eden- Prog\Games\TestDrive\Resources\4Build\PC\EURO\FrontEnd\LOG_IN\.2db\fla_0013 " and the link for the uninstaller fix for IP v0.9.5 isn't working...:sulk: Thing is that I REALLY love this mod but there's some glitch maybe because I got several error messages during the initial installation...I think... Please help!
  2. AWESOOOOOOOME!! Thing is I think, in games with realistic physics engines you can feel the car's behaviour more easily through visual and auditory senses and also FFB, so it's actually easier to drive once you get the hang of it. Personally I find it kind of hard to countersteer in TDU1 due to lack of sensory outputs. I'm reaaally hoping Atari will get it (reasonably) right!!! :D
  3. I totally understand that TDU isn't supposed to be a simulator, because like I said, I'm not expecting a simulator. But cars doing tight 90 degree turns at 100km/h is too arcadish for some people and they'd like a hardcore mode. IMHO, though, I don't see the point of driving cars based on bizarre and OVERLY unrealistic physics... Some people might appreciate unrealistic physics, but why not a hardcore mode for sensible people? Why not?
  4. I agree with buster2k. I play GTR2 a lot and i can't say I'm entirely certain about TDU2's handling due to controller issues and stuff, but it does seem some cars have exaggerated oversteering tendencies, thus causing them to be "twitchy". But I can tell clearly by just watching those beta cars doing tight 90 degree turns at 100km/h (60mph) and braking in incredibly short distances, it is definitely more like arcadel mode than hardcore mode in TDU 1. I am devastated by the absence of HC mode because although it's a beta version, as many people have commented here, they are not likely to change the overall physics at this stage... Of course, I am not expecting simulation handling, but I really hope the new physics will be at least reasonably realistic and a lot better than TDU1. So far it doesn't look so good though..... :sulk:
  5. Hi, I recently downloaded the mini cooper mod, and I think it's the best except for the inside camera position. There's some mention about camera swap from the author but I can't quite figure out how to do it.. Could some one please tell me? Or maybe bnk editor and various modding tools are not suitable for this complex job?
