  1. Hey mate, Nah it is only TDU i thought that myself. And i decided to experement for an hour or so before posting :) I even tried sending all sound via the sound driver settings to the right side to check...all i get is some ambience and barely any engine. I also set the system sound to mono and still notta. I have a feeling there is a setting in TDU somewhere be it a config file or something to chaneg this...but where it is...i am not sure:) I did a re-install today and still the same issue. Kinda odd. But again it has been over a year since i last played this game also...maybe the engine, GPS...etc were always at the left. lol BTW this system is a very high end unit and the sound has been tried through the Nvidia HD audio on my 2 GTX460 cards, my onboard Realtek HD audio as well as a diagnotic card i have laying around. All proved the same results :) I checked for port conflicts (not always do they cause crashes or the like. but some weird sound issues...i build and repair PC's fora living and was an IT network manager for 5 years ;) ) I dunno. It is a monor annoyance. If it was across the board on all games and apps then i would concede a hardware/system glitch. In this case however, it is not. It is just a TDU glitch :) EDIT: Its fixed. I forgot to re-install my megapack and the 1.66a patch lol.
  2. Hey mates, It been quite a while since i have done anytdu stuff. :) GOt all GTR2 happy and Shift happy the past year or so lol. Anyhoo, i reinstalled my copy of TDU and for some reason 90% of the sound is in the left channel. I do not remember if that was normal. Any way to fix it? Cheers. :)
  3. All the files are seperate. You will only use the S-market or whatever it was called .2db files for commonworld and commonworlddiv2. You are not required to use the grass and dirt.
  4. Thank you for all of the comments. I have finally gotten around to uploading it. I hope you all enjoy it. I am currently tweaking the Police car, School Bus and ALL of the building textures to resemble real wall texture. This is a REALLY nerver racking task as trying to figure out what wall texture goes to what kind of structure is daunting to say the least.:cool:

I have never been one to disallow the usage of my work to benefit others modifications. Just please credit me. Thank you all! a RECOMMENDATION: Please turn the aniostrophic filter to 8X or 16X. For some odd reason the grass and dirt will black out at distance. I tweaked with .dds fil settings and only the DXT1 works but still has this black out issue..weird. Greetings to all, I am new here to this forum. I just found a copy of this game at a local used game store for a steal. I played it a lot back on my PS2 (wow how the PS2 was screwed for content and gfx!!) Either way, i have been an avid modder for the doom community which i was mostly a level designer and texture editor. I am giving a go to making a more "real" looking environment to this game. Please tell me what you all think.
