Basically, my app just takes the files in the specific folders (like "Tropical Paradise v2.2") and copies them in your TDU folder, replacing the original ones. As far as I can read in the log file, your TDU folder must now be a mess... sorry for this. Let's repair : 1/ Reading the log file, I see some weird files writing errors. We need to figure out why there are random file transfers failures in your TDU folders : - Did you remove before using the installer, the read only tags on all your TDU folders and subfolders ? - Do you have enough disk space ? - Did you give the full rights to 'user' if using vista or 7 ? If you gave the rights after having tried to use the installer, maybe all the problems come from this. In the log, I see that some files that were not 'writeable' became writeable on other days... - Can you run a HDD health utility to ensure your disk is keeping the files with no damage ? 2/ When the file transfer problem is solved; I must help you to recover your original install : - If you made a complete backup before using my installer, you can just uninstall my app, replace the 'Euro' entire folder, and it's done... - If not (despite I told you you should in the readme :)), it will be a little bit more complicated. There is a procedure for manual restoration in the readme of the installer. This assumes that the content of 'restoration' folder is not corrupt; which is not your case. Then I will send you a package of the correct files (i.e original ones) so that you can manually restore them at their original place. We'll see this later, as it will depend on solving the file transfer issue or not. If you could please answer my questions, maybe I will see what happened. It's very strange that the simple action of replacing files did not work. TD38 Edit : Could you expand in file explorer all the directory structure of 'TDU Season' and make a screenshot ? Just to check all the necessary folders are there... and also please give me the size of your 'TDU Season' folder. Thx.

Hi, Could you you send me your log files of the Season Mod installer, it is inside the 'TDU Season' folder, and called "TDU Smod Log.txt" ? Did you remove the 'Read only' tag on TDU/euro/bnk/level/hawai' ??? TD38

Hello, There's no problem... you need to change some parameters in the FX.ini file : Section [GRASS] SCALEFACTORFAR = 1.0 (this is originally set at 4 -> your issue) HEIGHTBUSHES = 32.0 (this is the size, so input whatever you like) This hint was already written several times in the thread... just read :) TheDuck38

@Ryzza5: Got it. But when I clicked on it, it was specified 'For specific case, like spam, harassment...' I daren't as it is not so terrible ! I'll do it next time, I promise... No, you need to download and replace all the files above the pictures in the page 1 of this post ( at least the ones you want...). The FX.ini is just used to avoid a weird effect on the trees when you give them more height. Get all the files and read the beginning of the thread. If you're not familiar with installing these files, just check my signature and you can download an installer that will do the work for you (includes other mods like winter)... TD38

Hello, Reading your post, I would say it's probably a user rights problem... if you use vista or 7, did you remove the 'read only' tag for TDU program folder, and subfolders ? Then you may also need to give full access to 'User' on these folders... To be sure, you can try to copy/paste commonworld.bnk (make a copy) inside its original folder. If you can't, it means you don't have full rights on this folder. TheDuck38 PS (edited) : maybe you could also copy your commonworld.bnk in 'My documents' for example and try to modify this one. If it works, you can replace the game's one.

@Ryzza5 : Maybe One shot competition and let's see is modders want to 'play the game'.... @gpktm : I'am not a car modder myself (not very good at designing...) but maybe you could get some hints here... @Helex I understand your point, but what is a "pro" modder ? Isn't this a game from beginning to the end ? If some modelers intend to be professionals and then be hired by games developers, it is also good for them to show their abilities to create entirely a car... Anyway it was just an idea... the ones who like can do it.

In fact the idea was more to make a 'real' TDU car we could use ingame. I think there are enough modders in the community to make the challenge worth... TD38

Hello everybody I've spent some time reading many posts where people just argue about the quality (or non-quality) of a car release... sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's really terrible to read. I won't comment this further. I'm quite new to this forum and I don't want to offense anybody. I could understand that many of the released cars are 'converted' models... so here's my idea : WHY NOT MAKING A CONTEST WHERE CAR MODDERS WILL CREATE THEIR OWN 'IDEAL' CAR ? Just one rule : it must not exist ! Take parts of existing cars or do everything yourself, as you like; and create your own concept car for TDU... Forum users will then vote for their favorite car. Like the 'Picture of the week' contest, except that everybody will have the car if he wants it... Just tell me what you think about this... and it will probably require help of admins to sort everything in a formal thread and allow users to vote... Hello, There's not only the torrent file... Go page 26 of this thread, get the 13 parts of the zip file, get the 4th patch, and all the roads versions you want... Use Winzip or 7zip to unzip everything and backup and replace the original files... There are plenty of explanations in the previous posts of this thread on how to install everything. Other solution, get my installers (see my signature) and they will install and handle automatically winter mode and sub modes (roads) and other modes like autumn or jungle.... TheDuck38

Hello, Did you install DJey's Magic map ? It is a file to allow the game to accept files bigger than original ones... Get it here... Usually, problems like you describe come from this. If you already have it, I don't see where can be the issue... can you describe your config ? TheDuck38

Hello, Did I get it correct, did you originally install the 1.5 version in another folder than TDU application folder ? If you uninstalled everything and re-installed in the TDU folder, it should work correctly. Now you should have inside your TDU application folder a subfolder called 'TDU Season' containing a "mode.txt" file containing 'restored'... Anyway if there is something wrong, the program won't accept to work... Tell me if it works now, please... Bye TD38
