That's true, Forza is a very fine game. And the map itself is quite refined and detailed. But it is too small for cruising, we did try with a friend but it became boring real quick. On the other hand The Crew - game supposedly created by the guys previously working in Eden - game that has absolutely uninspiring driving model and a big map. But at the same time this map seems kinda bland. Not all that refined, giving some vibes of the USA but lacks at quality. Nevertheless I did spend quite a lot of time in both the Horizon series and TC and had lots of fun. Just none of them gives me all that much fun when cruising.

And this I believe is the biggest challenge for them. Creating a game with satisfactory driving model, with map large enough to not be boring after a couple of drives while also quite detailed. Honestly my hopes are really low after TDU2 and TC, but afterall Kylotonns WRC series is getting better and better each instalment, even when the post release support is somewhat lacking. I'm rooting for them but not expectiong miracles :D

Yes, the G27 works with TDU1 but I don't have any FFB with 1.66. Weirdly enough the vanilla version works just fine.

I dunno if You've noticed but the full stock cars have actually the highest v-max. Also they're quite drifty :D. I wouldn't say they're not competetive since there's a working drafting/slipstream system.

I wouldn't call it bad. Actually the views are quite amazing. Although when you take a closer look at the asphalt textures, well they seem a bit blurry. But other than that the game looks really good. The game worked pretty good, at least outside towns, they still need to work on that. The game just used the same amount of cpu and GPU pretty much everywhere when clearly it needed some more in the cities

Yes You're right. But a friend of mine figured out how to turn off this penalty system in MP races, it needs to be changed somewhere in the server settings. But I don't really know where :P

never managed to get into a mp game. Way too complicated for me I guess :lol:

Besides that stupid booking system it's quite simple actually ;d. Although it's getting tougher when you have to play with people that actually know how properly setup a car. Well... I don't :D

Finally bought myself Assetto Corsa. I had some doubts but all of them disappeared when I played multiplayer with some of my friends :). Above You can see the first MP video I've recorded. I've never really played any simulators so I'm pretty much a newbie :D.

I don't think there's an AE86 unfortunately.

I've got to admit that the handling is pretty good after the disappointment which G2 was. It's much closer to the first GRID which is great.

Is this a bug or something? Sometimes (more often than not actually) when I press "Replay" at the end of a race, it only shows me the last minute or so of the race, not the whole race... it's rather annoying.

 

Example. I did a 2 lap race at Imola but when I viewed the replay afterwards this is all it showed...

 

If You still haven't got the answer here it is ;d. You need to change replay size, it's somewhere around 24 mb by default. You will find it in options > general as far as I remember

Have you changed the high frequency update? It's turned off by default.

Personally I've got to say it makes a bit of a difference, but sometimes the kill trades still happen. And dying behind covers still happens, but it's not as bad as before. Right now it's more like two steps behind cover and not like 5 steps and more :D.

Somehow right now the normal mode reminds more of the hardcore from bf3. You die a bit quicker but also you kill a bit quicker :D. Overall it's a step into the right direction, although there's still a lot to be done.

I'm wondering with which mode they're driving. Is it arcade, hardcore or the one in the middle which name I forgot :D. I certainly hope it's the arcade one :P
