  1. You can use Mediafire for example and then send me the link via private message. If you want to reduce the file size, you can convert the sound to Microsoft wav ADPCM 44,100kHz, 4 bits, mono (TDU audio format).
  2. You're right, but I had 10 mns to kill and I found this pseudo controversial funny. Oh well, enough said... I thougt about another sound that you could maybe improve if you like : With a little more deepness and volume level, reducing if possible the wind noises here and there, it could be better sound, I send you a link to the samples right away. Let me know what you think. Cheers.
  3. ahah you're funny, constructive comments about me in a thread that isn't mine and who concerns transitions… I didn't insult "others" or anyone, you're quite a little slanderer. I admit that it was not very smart to say that, and I would almost feel sorry about it, but there are some degrees between flaming and insulting, you don't ignore this and it shows your will to defamate. I posted a tip here, like anyone else, and was just a bit deceived to have typed all that for someone who didn't care. Nothing more... It's not really the 1st time that it happens to me and i'm afraid it's not the last. Now wake up... I've always introduced myself as a beginner, an amateur making low-fi sound mods, just read my posts. That doesn't sound self-important to me, and miles away from the arrogant "sound expert" haunting your confused imagination (where did I call myself a "sound expert" ffs). Also, I already posted numerous times about distortion issues etc. and discontinued like 50% of the stuff that I released because I considered those as mistakes ; so you kinda fail at p*****g me off or learning me something new, like you naively expected. Plus, your caricatural descriptions and generalities certainly don't apply to 90% of the stuff, I can name +20 sound mods without any major issue... Your subtile and delicate ears who can't stand an ounce of fuzzyness are full of it, just like the rest. So it makes you resentful, for some reason, to see the positive feedback here and there (sometimes deserved, sometimes not), then you come bravely hidden behind a secondary identity to play the blue helmet who don't have a clue, suddenly vomiting all your frustration when you could have sparingly posted your enlightments and smileys in the concerned threads and under your real id.
  4. Ahah yes I forgot to fix the right hand shifting sorry about that, it looks pretty ridiculous and maybe i'll fix the video!... Glad you like the sound anyway.
  5. Source : TDU sound : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4ixgdVWEww Download : http://www.mediafire.com/?h550aya32jwaadb Thank you for your comment. I have another version of this sound with some nice chaotic and brutal samples in it. I can upload it later if you want...
  6. Hi, long time.. Nice to see you're back and ready to create new stuff! Maybe we should create a specific thread about this, I don't know. For my part I'm not very good at enhancing audio samples and that's where I have a lot to learn. Mostly it's about enhancing the dynamics, just like you did with the LFA sound (my "on" samples of the LFA where sounding really raw, a bit grainy, without bass, and with a weak volume level compared to yours). When I released the DB4 sound you talked about enhancing it in the comments, maybe you can try to do something with it (I don't think it's possible though) and let me know? Thank you.
  7. Furnaceden, I don't even see why you come from nowhere posting about that, you bring nothing to the thread and try ineptly to make me look like what I'm not... It's your 2nd post on forum and you're already trying to argue pointless with someone instead of leaving a constructive comment, but still you give lessons about what's necessary or unnecessary? Go get a life...
  8. Hmm I'm not sure what you mean, but nevermind! Thanks for help. Just a little useful link --> http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a95/Halewafa/TDULIST6.jpg
  9. There's no really point in testing the beta of the 430 because the final version has already been released. I don't understand your question... They sure have those samples or you wouldn't hear anything. I can send you a link for the 550 sound (read 1st post), even if I'm almost sure that it will be abandonned (TDU F575 doesn't shift at all like the F550 in the video and there's nothing I can do).
  10. Not really better than the others C5R videos that I've tried, I can't do anything that sounds good enough ingame, the result is weak and too confused at high speed. Additionally, the shifting in TDU is totally different from a real C5R, which completly screws the realism of the sound in TDU (it sounds too "slow", the needle of the rev-counter drops too much everytime). Hi, You should post some links about these (there must be some on youtube) so I would know easier if I like or not. However, I'm ok for a conversion if it's not already a mod made by someone else. For converting a sound to TDU you need to record : 1 : Startup sound 2 : Idle sound (10 seconds) 3 : Low rpm reving sound (recorded at STABLE SPEED, the needle of the rev-counter must not move of a single millimeter during your record. Example : you record 10 seconds reving at exactly 2000 rpm) 4 : Middle rpm reving sound at stable speed. Example : you record 10 seconds reving at exactly 4000 rpm) 5 : High rpm reving sound at stable speed. Example : you record 10 seconds reving at exactly 7000 rpm) You can record a vaster range of rpm if you want, maybe the result will be better. 6 : A deceleration, make it the longest possible (5 seconds is ok, more if you can), at high speed 7 : A deceleration, make it the longest possible, at middle speed 7 : A deceleration, make it the longest possible, at low speed Disable, if possible, all background/secondary sounds, so they don't get recorded with your engine. Record at the highest level of quality that you can get, no matter the size of the files. Good luck.
  11. Fresh link. Thanks for feedback you all. With time, I'm not too much happy with that sound mod, it's a funny and addictive one for sure but the downshifts are really too raw and there's too much background noise. I wish I had a fresh good audio source for this cool car.
  12. Thanks you guys for the comments, appreciated. New link... Damn these links!
  13. I made some time ago a Mclaren F1 sound mod that was far from perfection. In fact, I should never have released it... This one isn't perfect either but it's much better. It's made from 3 different sources : - Ralph Lauren Car Show - Sound mod : Download V3 : http://www.mediafire.com/?45sih47w418o10b Feedback appreciated... EDIT : Version 3 uploaded. New "onlow" (low rpm) sample.
  14. Problem is that I lost the original file myself and I can't find the good versions on my hard disk... Currently trying to get it from someone who downloaded it.
  15. Nope, I trashed the link for a good reason. Also stop spamming this message in PM. Thank you.

    1. I'm afraid you'll have to keep using the old one for now because I tried both of those videos and the quality is really too crappy (distortion, no good downshifts sound etc.). But i'm sure that if you keep searching more you can find something, there are so many videos of that car around...
    2. Why defaut only? I already explained some time ago. Let's say that I have enough rubbish videos to check with the defaut vehicles (example : the videos you post). It's not my fault if people can't read and understand simple things and keep posting their crap here. The less I have to check, the better. Not bad at all. I already made a Caterham sound but maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks. None of these are good, quite the opposite. Too bad, i'd like to make a sound for the Pontiac. And what car have a similar engine? I don't like that sound anyway, so don't bother (the transmission is too loud). Horrible quality, I would be really depressed to work on poor audio like that and the result would be worse than the already existing mod. The 355 isn't a defaut vehicle and this audio is parasited by wind and vibrations. I just released a 430 sound and you already ask for another? Maybe you don't like it, why not posting some feedback about it then? I always like any sort of feedback, even negative if the reasons are valuable.
    3. It's the north coast road when you come from the northwest lighthouse. Thanks! Just uploaded another version, not really a v2 in fact, the "onhigh" loop was a bit too loud so I lowered it a bit, for a better transition. Also the "offigh" is 0,5 seconds longer, hurrah!
    4. Guys, thanks for your comments ; I really love that sound too it's one of the best I ever made. Without distortion it would be better but who cares... @Thander : I use Island Paradise mod by Illusion (with Autumn add-on, fog disabled), euro road-sign mod by Carda and various weather mods (weather mod by maciuk and sun-night mod by crazydoc but you need to edit the files to get good results sometimes) plus several other mods (billboards, traffic, smoke etc.)
    5. Ahah no worries, thanks for trying to improve this one. I still hope I can find a better audio one day and make a better sound because this is my favorite car in TDU.
    6. This is a mix of F430 GT2 and F430 sound. I've never found a good audio of a stock F430, so I used this one in replacement. But I couldn't have in TDU that fast GT shifting and I failed to make a good GT idle. So I made it rev a bit higher, like a stock F430 and put startup and idle from stock F430 too. Hope you like because I spent a lot of time on it. My only problem with it is that there is a bit of wind in the audio and then you can hear it slightly in the sound mod, but it's still the best F430 audio I ever listened (shame to all those who requested a f430 sound and who never found this video). NOTE : I can make an alternative version without "trembles" (though, the samples are long enough so you don't notice the looping, in general use) Source : Sound mod : Download : http://www.mediafire.com/?6jg327zg2ro8y25 Thanks for feedback.
    7. This is the exact same video that I used to create the sound! There is also this one but I know it already : Thanks all for the feedback, it's always great to read.
