  1. Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend.

I remember discovering the roads in TDU1, It was this on ramp that was under a section of a highway. I had to zoom in to maximum to find it. I wish that they would be slightly more accurate about the percent discovered. A 99.7% would be nice, or even 996/1000 miles.

Got area 1. It was literally a piece of road 15 meters long... Now for area 2! Thanks for the tips, I forgot what I did with TDU1

And Area 2, Events, photo ops, and the wrecks. Got my explorer gear! Thanks guys!

  2. I do agree with that, it seems they just couldn't shake loose that mentality that the only kind of cornering is to drift. That whole Underground-Carbon section was rather rough, maybe they will merge the arcardey NFS with Shift and its peers. One can only hope.

I did enjoy Driver SF because of the story, subtle humor, and the challenges. Loved that story arc of the two Asian brothers that would get into high risk races and Tanner would have to bail them out. Sorry for the tangent there. I hold steadfast that NFSPU was the best.

  3. Well, I got it. At first I grumbled at Atari for having us use their coin system, but then I realized I could control which cars I really wanted and how much I'd have to pay. +1 for that. Having the more rare cars like the 599XX, F40, Tricolore, Sang Bleu, Ect. Makes It a bit more fun for me due to the diversity and that I haven't driven these cars before in other games. I haven't used the bikes all that much, bad memories of a certain challenge in TDU1 that I spent several hours on before realizing that you had to lean forward to reduce drag and go faster. +1

I also did get my Feng Shui on with the furniture, like the modern stuff. Fully decked out my Yacht and that 8 slot house in the nearby area with my cars and furniture, movable cars between garages is wonderful, though I miss having my current car sit in the garage. +2.

Not bad, Edari really did a good job reclaiming this game for me. Still have a few greviences with the physics and the paint shop mechanics but they really can't fix it. Not TDU1 but its better. So +4 for this DLC, not amazing, but a very good DLC.

  4. Because of the recent poll, where NFSPU dominated, I thought I'd make a thread where we all can discuss what we liked, hated, or wished was in the game!

Just to start, I'll throw out some topics.

    Favorite Track: Autobahn/Zone Industrielle

Car: 356A Super Speedster, Red Convertible

    Era: Classic

  5. Yeah, It was the one where you had to "demonstrate your car control" by making a 360 using the hand break. Then the next level was the same although it involved 2 360's and you had to do a slalom between the two. As a 5-9 year old kid, they were one of the hardest things I had ever done. Also, because of the factory driver I know to take the innermost lane to shave of distances and that you can drive straight through s curves. Loved it so much. Almost feel like making a internet petition to get EA to remake it.

  6. Wow, I didn't think you guys would be that into Unleashed! I loved it, It was my first racer and it started my love of Porsche. The cars, the upgrade system, the factory driver ( me gusta e-break turns), and the career. All they need it to team up with Criterion and put as much work into it as they did for the rehash of Hot Pursuit and they would have the best game ever. I still play Unleashed, though its unstable because I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. Its awesome to see that there are quite a few people who enjoy driving cars, rather than just drive Veryons at blasing speeds.

  7. I decided to try and 100% discovery on all areas in the game. I got Ibiza down and Hawaii 3 and 4 down.

I have spent about a week trying to find all the roads and now I am down to 1% for both area 1 and 2. Does anyone have tips for finding the last few pieces of road? What was your last road?

    Thanks in advance.

  8. Probably the gear ratios are better suited for top speed on the F430 while the 458 is more for acceleration. Though seeing how the rest of this game is, its more than likely its a failure.

Personally, I like the Italia just because I think its more pretty than the F430 and its a dream to drive using keys.

  9. I hope this doesn't count a cheating. I created another account and completed the story line and bought the cheapest houses I could. At the end I liquidated all of my cars and houses so that I have about $15 million. Then I was going to make a super easy private challenge and send it to my main account. I could then use my main account to win the races in the CRC to make the 15 million. I earned it fair and square I just want it so I can PLAY the game.
