iLLusion, I really like your mod. It gives island new atmosphere, fog sometimes reminds of old Glide games amd the most important thing: I can see roads really well now. In original Atari version and that funky HDR sometimes the difference between road and grass was like zero. Great work.

I looked thru my past thread and noticed some interest in this. Since I was away from TDU gaming for past 6 months, I will try to find lost files. Hopefully I still them have on my second computer.

I saw your problem on TDU2 forums. Same as mine and you can't do anything about it? Oh my. Well, I will try with a method Sponge described. I just hate this GFWL, Gamespy online tags. It create problems only.

Thanx for reply. I will do that when I get home. I have backed up my savegame regurally, but failed with this passwords. Profile DAT has written in it username NUL NUL NUL NUL NUL NUL. I guess this nuls mean password?

Ok, here is the deal. I changed password for my Gamespy profile to be able to play TDU 2 Beta. Since I forgot old password I reseted in Gamespy and got new one. TDU2 beta works fine. But my profile for TDU 1 now has invalid password when going online since I changed it for TDU2 :rolleyes: I get message:"This nickname is in use with another password." Is there any way to find out what password was I using before changing it? Maybe profile files have written this somewhere, but DAT files have some encoding which doesn't make sense. Anyone solved this problem before? Please :sulk: Hopefully I won't be needing to restart my online profile from the begining. I have almost champion rank, lot of money and load of cars. Thanx.

G27 + TDU = No Force feedback I purchased G25 because of that fact. I like it very much in TDU and Shift.

I agree, there is some issue about adding friends. I haven't been able to do so for some time now. :confused:

I edited and wrote detailed how to guide to apply this mod to ANY car. :)

Exterior texture? Isn't exterior texture for behind camera view? I will try that also later and upload bnk file for others to check this mod.

1. I didn't like milkyness of colors when looking thru a windscreen: 2. I modded the glass_i.2db file and came up with this result: 3. In game this gives better results than old glass_i file, but still not perfect. I guess it has to be edited thru some ini file also. 4. Hi, my name is Robert and I come from Slovenia. I have played TDU since last year and I find this game very addicitive. Currently I am at Champion level and mostly just cruising around the island. At the moment I am try to work on my Audi RS4 sound mod which is kinda in beta version. My gamespy tag is Gfxmaniac. I am also enthusiastic photographer in spare time. With this MagicMap I have problem with RS4audio.bnk, I can use just Fifomaniak's bnk, if I use original or bnk I have created I get no engine sound. :confused:

I extracted R8/RS4 audio files from Shift yesterday. Put it in BNK file of RS4 from TDU and I am quite pleased with result. Still around 85% accuracy from what I want to achieve. edited: Totally mixed audio samples. Need to go back to drawingboard. LOL Tube video deleted.

Thanx for replies. As far as I understand this bnk1.map provided in link from felix97 gives you ability to change bnk files without changing file size parameter? Meaning, no changing in MapTools, just copy&paste of modified bnk file? I guess I wanna do things harder way everytime :cheeky:

Hi, I need help with installing sounmod for Lotus Exige 240R (from Fifomaniak). I can't change bytes number since there is no ID for Lotus_240R_audio.bnk file. I saw people with succesful installation of this mod, just can't figure out how to change bytes in MapTool. I am using US version, 1.66a patch with megapack. Thanx for helping :thumbsup:

I just love TDU and Audi's cars. I have never been pleased with sounds of RS4 in TDU (or any other car). So I wanted to do my own sound mod for RS4. I noticed today that Fifomaniak has already done quite the same sound mod for RS4. My idle sound is taken from youtube, low and mids are taken from Shift. What I want is that low rumble of RS4 in idle which you can hear in real life. Maybe someday I will try to record a sound of low and mids of a real RS4 and do this mod as it supposed to be done. Comment and critiques are welcome.
