OK I re-released the modded file, I got the permission but I hope grin to improve it soon:D http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OFMTQIBH

hi guys, I'm trying to add a third car to the dodge dealer but seems that it can handle only 2, because adding a third car using TDUMT the car is shown but can't be chosen (it's only inside the car dealer shop but nothing more......):eek2: there's a way to add a new space in a car dealer? I've searched here in the forum but found nothing:oook:

Great car but with a little bug (I think....): -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- sun is seen thru the roof of the car:confused: I'm using the camera settings found in the official camera&ik thread here in the forum

Firstly great mod (IT: MIIIINCHIA CHE ROBA!:D) but I have a question for you: the grass mod works only with a kind of grass but there is also another that needs an overhaul imho, look at these pics: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- as you can see there are some green dots of your improved texture but the rest is all this ugly light green sort of grass.....the texture is even more annoying when you're cruising high speed and looking at the distance.....eeeww! Can you do something about it?
-
yeah I know that I need his permission, I'll remove the link until grin doesn't give me the permission;)
-
I also made the custom physics, I know that I'm not "turbo lag" but well I'm trying:D Specs taken from supercars.net. Works with the Holden Efijy, I haven't tried with other ones;) You need Dredgy's TDUPE to install it! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EL6O7URF PS. sorry for double post!

I made a modified version of the license plate, using the default one texture. the license plate frames in the front and back of the car can't be removed because I think they are a part of the 3d model itself..... I know it looks bad but I can't do anything more :D DL: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OFMTQIBH -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- if Grin116 has something against this modification, I'll remove the file immediately ;)

Thanks, works great!

Tutorial: Create Your Own Number Plate
Vano89 replied to Iced_Bullet's topic in Car Customization Mods
Can you please create a plate just like the original but with "V4N0" witten on it? -
run the autoinstaller again and choose uninstall, it should work. If not maybe there's a problem with the name of the car itself, happened A LOT of times to me.....download TDUPE, run it as administrator, choose the car on wich you installed the R8 (maybe the kz1?), click on load and click on Name editor. delete the name R8 (if it's there) and write ??, then click save and save all changes on the bottom right

the performance packs are .tdupk files, physical settings installed using tdupe. for example if the physics autoinstaller doens't work (this is another strange problem of my game) I have to manually insert the phys. settings from the install.pch file directly with tdupe, doing a copy-paste in the original tdupk file of the car. The strange thing is that I use modding tools to change the brand after installing the physics but seems that mt doesn't overwright correctly the brand settings in the db file so I always see the standard name and brand....do you think is possible? BTW thanks for your help!
-
The strange thing is that modding tools saves correctly but the car in game has still the standard name, or to be precise the one set by the phys. autoinstaller/performance pack of tdupe. Even if I add colours I don't see them in game, seems that modding tools doesn't saves correctly the db or similar. If I look in vehicle manager the sagaris is set as gumpert Apollo correctly but in game is still tvr apollo as it says in tdupe! My game is italian, so mt is set on italian as locality, I think it's right..... To see a difference I have to use tdupe that unfprtunately is not updated to 1.68a
-
Hi, I've got a question for you! I changed the brand name of the tvr sagaris with the one of the gumpert apollo but in game I still see it called tvr sagaris, I have to use TDUPE to change brand and model (naturally there aren't gumpert and apollo data yet in tdupe) ..... why?

:D you're a genius! now it's just a matter of seconds:thumbsup: So you think that bodyswapping cause troubles? why not, I first tried to install a phys. mod after I swapped the a6 with the r8 (originally it swapped the farboud) so maybe that's the problem! btw using your trick I did the autoinstaller job manually in the same time:thumbsup:

What's in your opinion is the best sound for this beast?
-
Ehm.....:D I'm a dumbass, I know.......but I have another incredible n00b question for you guys!:excited: I'm having a BIG problem with physics, every autoinstaller I downloaded doesn't work, the specs and physics of the car are always default, the same of the default car I swapped:cry: I don't know why, I installed everything correctly choosing always italian as game lang (my game is italian) but nothing happens.....the installed cars works fine but not physics! I found a way to manually install the file, opening with notepad the "install.pch" file, copying the numbers found after the " <parameter name="resourceFileName" value="CarPhysicsData" />" thing and manually putting them in the performance pack of the car, created with TDUPE.....AND IT WORKS:thumbsup: but it's incredibly boring to do so, I have to remove all the spaces and putting all the ; between numbers.......there is a faster way to convert the install.pch to a performance pack file? any ideas, suggestions are welcome:lol:

Vano89 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Hi guys, it's normal that even if I install the physics file I still get in performance editor the default skyline r34 specs?:( -
 ok bad luck this time:crying: btw I've done a "custom" version myself starting from the infos from supercars.net and seems to work fine:thumbsup:
-
Great job! Can I ask you a little favour? Can you post the standalone physics file? I decided to replace a RUF and not the farboud but I'd like to use your phys. file:lol:
-
don't worry, I backupped every file I swapped!
-
great! so i only have to change the settings with performance editor...... thanks again!

sorry for the double post but I have another question:cry: doing like this the R8 uses the A6 physics or the one that was intended by the creator of the r8?:oook:
