I have to say i think this is an awesome game, by no means is it perfect but very few games are. It all came together for me driving my new Zonda through a late night thunderstorm. Its test drive unlimited 1 supersize and thats just fine with me, more of the same a little better is all i ever wanted and what most sequels deliver. Just look at the call of duty modernwarfare series and how well that sells despite being basically the same game every time ( i say game in the loosest sense of the word ). Yes the lack of cars is a little frustrating the grapihcs arnt the best but otherwise the changes and all for the better. I dont get what people are saying about the handling at all. If you want hyper realism buy a car, if you want as close as you can come buy a simulator or go for the lesser option and buy forza and if you want a rich person simulator with arcade aspects buy test drive. The handling may not be accurate but its fun and fits in well with the theme as these arnt racetracks were dirving on. Engine noises are ok, probably not spot on but then how many of us have driven a £200000 sports car to limit on a regular basis to know if they are or not ( watching top gear dosent count ladys and gents ). Yes there are server issues but name me some mmo`s that have had a flawles launch on a budget like edens and im sure that these issues are likely to be fixed soon. My only real complaints are directed at the lack of bikes and lambos, one is not edens fault ( unles lambos appear as DLC in which case ill be a little angry, but also happy ) the other is not really fair of me to complain about. Its their game to decide if bikes fit into or not and i think adding an entire new island and the concept of off road was a fair trade for the bikes. Talking of the off road bits they are excellent fun. quick and easy to pick up combined with the day night and weather cycles they make for allot of fun. One complaint i did forget to mention which i think is a major issue but not beyond fixing is the lack of the ability to sell any of your cars, not a market place as that idea is a little pointless but it would be nice jsut to be able to sell cars at any time, or maybe gift them to friends. Like i say its not perfect but Its a damn good attempt. So overall a great enjoyable experience that dosent live up to the communitys expectations only because the community expected too much, sit down chill out and have a drive around two beautifull islands in some cars not many of us are ever likely to own chatting to friends in a genre of game no one has really been brave enough to try to make except eden. Got to say guys i have a new contender for favourite Pagani Zonda Cinque cant believe how much fun im having in this car aty the moment

I bought the subaru and didnt see what was so special about it really, sold it for the Nissan 370, havent tried the tt yet but a quick mention needs to go to the GTR as that is also a fantastic car

I need more casual players as im a parent and cant get on all the time, dont mind how much you guys play as long as you dont mind how much i play. First off, this game is fantastic i dont no why everyome has been giving it so much grief, but back to the thread everyone list your current favourite car and reasons for it. Mine = Spyker D8 Peking-to-Paris Absolutely brilliant car all round, good speed, excellent handling, looks like a beast. I hate spykers but im damn glad i bought this on a whim

i personally dont understand any of those cars, if you want a fast car by a sports car that handles allot better, if y ou want luxury and speed buy a saloon, its not as if those 4x4`s have a great deal of space in them and they cant exactly drive off road, if you want to drive off road buy a land rover. simple

i see your point but it just makes sense to me smallest thing first - day/month/year but then i am biased (im not sure if thats spelt right at all, dont you hate the feeling of uncertainty when you type something out confidently then look at and it looks nothing like it sounds) in your head if that makes any sense to anybody at all, i may jsut be rambling now

i still dont get why some people are bitching about the trailer, ive waited for it for a long time. its great to see some footage but you cannot review a game based on a trailer. its impossible. none have us have played the game, and therefore we cannot judge also how could the developers not be happy with the trailer, i dont believe that for one second. its been a massive succses, loads of people excited and talking about their game generating good publicity ill reserve judgement until i play the game, dont get me wrong im excited but we jsut cant jump the gun and critisise the game based on the trailer

i think we all need to stop worrying, its a trailer at the end of the day, we should be gratefull. they have months left yet to get all the bits right but i think its impossible to critise handling ect when we havent even driven the cars yet. and as for saying its glitchy i dont know how you reached that conclusion. i cant wait i think its going to be great and i enjoyed the trailer for what it was, a cool little glimpse of some of the new features

Sweet, Just watched it at work so no sound, but my god i cant believe its finally here a glimpse of TDU2. I wasnt keen on the idea of the yacht until i saw the video. Awesome looking night racing and weather effects though. As far as i could see i couldnt spot any off road racing or turning signals but either way im impressed. And as an added bonus the girls havent been borrowed from an aphex twin video. My favourite bit - defiantely the roof coming up - nerdgasm

i think drifting in the rain would be allot of fun, i loved the mountain roads in TDU anyway but add a bit of rain and thunder for effect and it will be a hell of allot of fun. i remember the difference adding good weather effects to PGR4 made so the difference its going to make to TDU2 is hopefully going to be unbelieveable. plus i agree with the idea of checking your hard drive and auto unlocking all the oahu roads that you ahve already visited to save the hassle while keeping the unlock system for ibiza as it was actually quite good fun the first time around

but seriously i have to ask again, and this may sound a little pedantic but has anyone thought of the two island issue serioulsy, as good as it would be would you not have to own 2 sets of cars, one on each island if you wanted to flit between the two. and also the more i think about going to a second island ive already visited the more i become unsure, origianlly i was very excited, but i think that just comes from wanting to drive everything as much as possible, in reality i want a new enviroment

wasnt being serious with my last point, i agree with wheels though, that would be nice, and i did ahve another thought but im not sure if it fits or not, but a bit more depth to the tuning would be nice
