I bought a RUF Roadster for drifting with PowerSlave but I'm still quite attached to my Mustang Fastback Cruse-O-Matic. (Just added Powerslave to Google Chrome dictionary)

Probably not mate. TDU2 and TDU 1 don't have the same file composition as eachother. (Meaning that the files either don't have the same names, or are not the same file type as before.)

Yeah, the handling is a bit dodgy but I put this thread up for the people who are struggling to drift without spinning out. Anyway, If you want to meet me, I'm at the classic license track in a black mustang fastback. Getting kinda bored.

That works too, but I'm assuming you didn't consider using Sport mode?

The easiest way to drift, you would assume is to yank the handbrake right? Not so in TDU. According to experience, the easiest way to drift in TDU 2 is to get a Mustang Fastback, Turn your handling difficulty to Sport, Start in 2nd Gear. The procedure goes along the lines of this: Step 1: Approach the corner at a comfortable speed, maybe 60? (Ideal gear is 2nd) Step 2: TAP the handbrake as you turn into the corner. Step 3: Now proceed to feather the throttle and counter steer. That's all there is to it. I admit, It WILL take some practice but this method works for me. At least try it is all I am saying.

OK, After Months of scraping well earned cash together and selling numeral titles, I reach an impregnable wall. I will start up my game in the usual fashion(Click the short cut) and be greeted by the uplauncher. After establishing what type of connection I have and finding out that the servers are online, I run into the problem. http://s997.photobucket.com/albums/af97/thexracer/?action=view&current=TDU2ERROR.jpg The Launcher appears to get stuck at "Checking Files, Please Wait..." This is infuriating and disappointing at the same time.

Hmmmm. 3 Days? Might be able to get TDU 2 in that time frame. DAMMIT STUPID OFFICE JOB!:sulk: Why won't you let me get TDU 2?! WHY?!

I thought that too, It used to happen in previous games (I.E: Generation BEFORE PS3's) But now, Developers are so hyped up on graphics and gameplay, they don't put any "fail" safes in case of situations like that. It makes me :(.

Like the Grey Ferrari! @DriftKing I know how annoying that can be, K/O'ed my PS2 trying to glitch my MC 3: DUB Edition save (Dunno why, just felt like doing it).

My guess is that your ride height isssue might have something to do with the model you have replaced, the settings you have set for performace or simply the gravity you have applied to the car. Wheels look a bit oversized too. I wouldn't know though because I don't mod TDU.

Thanks for making it plain to me. I might be able to pick up my copy some time this weekend, if not, maybe next week.

On a different note, I would LOVE to join! However I think I said in another thread that I am picking my copy up by hand so bear with me please if it takes some time. Do you just need a Game-spy? If so, then I will make an account and post my name into User CP OK?

As much as I'd like to agree with you guys, I can't. It IS a Mondial and yes it's the rubbish "8" model but it IS STILL a Pininfarina designed body and has a V8 (:thumbsup:) in the middle. Most could only dream of owning a Ferrari let alone a Mondial so think for a few seconds man! [mod edit:] Please do not swear or use asterisk's to mimic swearing, thanks.
