  1. I found a bug with TDUMT/patches installer, when i update the carphysicsdata with this ref (2000000017), he didnt install, you can try.

    2000000017|2000000017 735 59938407 59538427 74900264 1 300000 54368917 0000317 921831319 5457567 53338427 55338407 54638407 553629 603709 5992 575 7300 630 5500 7500 55356917 573531 5 2,41 2,31 1,52 1,12 0,88 0,68 0 0 2 5645936 355 335 5645936 53338427 0 2040 4430 1115 1610 1670 2650 972 757 1460 120 120 240 230 140 140 100 100 100 100 70 35 47 0 0,2924 0,5 45 30 60 1,02 0,5 0,8 4500 1 74739427 92262406 55533427 5566317 3,9 8,7 338 125 21,6 338 0 12,4 0 123 1000 100 80 80 75 80 100 101 -1 1 1010 1010 1 100 2066 111

  2. Hey JPTH :) Now I'm on it seriously again but I don't really know what button I've got to click and where to go in the steps. To me it's not detailed enough. Could you explain a bit more how to give Files an ID ? (Step 2) What we have to do for adding new car physics data ? (Step 3) How to connect the wheels to the car ? (Step 8) Please :D

Also you should add a link to Djey's tutorial for making TDU accept new files with TDUF. (Step 1) As it's not sounding very clear to me at the beginning but I've finally understood at the end. That's for other people.

Thank you for your help. Hopefully I'll understand the process completely very soon

EDIT: Do I need any of those numbers after I've made TDU accept new files with TDUF ? I'm addind actually the Lancia Stratos. Bnk names are "Stratos"

EDIT 2: Okay some of what I've understand basically so far:

    (1) For Step 2 to 4, We have to set any number to our Bnk file name. But the number we choose mustn't be the same as one already use in the Database. Can we really use random numbers ? Does all these file belong to "Update Resource" > "CarPhysicsData" + "Rims" ? Or is there any other Contents of the database who correspond to a BNK file like for the sound ?

    (2) Could you explain more about the numbers in Step 3 please. Do we must put "010" for the body, "00111000" for interior etc...

    (3) I think I understand the process but I don't really know how to exactly make everything work. So the process is:

    - Put the BNK files like "Stratos" in our TDU Folder

    - Make these BNK being accepted by TDU with TDUF with the MappigTools option

    - Create the slot in the database

Question: How do I marry the BNK files and the Database I've created together ?

    - Update TDUMT and TDUPE to be able to set the car in the dealer, set colors, set physics...

Okay, im not good making tutorial, but i will try to you understand how add lancia stratos.

Give a new value to the name file on TDUMT for stratos:

0000010|Stratos and for the rims 000000100|Stratos_F01

In carphysicsdata form you replace the numbers on tutorial for this:

    0000000001 - Ref

    0000010 - ID car file

    001 - ID car

    0000000001|0000000001..... 0000010.....001(id car)

    Add new wheels(replace the numbers):

    1000000100 - Ref

55665512 - Rim folder (AC ID)

000000100 - File rim name ID

    1000000100|1000000100....55665512 000000100 000000100

Conect the wheels to the car:

    0000000001 - carphysics ref

    1000000100 - rims Ref

    0000000001- 1000000100|0000000001 1000000100

    I hope you understand.

  3. When you say TDU have to accept new file with TDUF, is it with Djey's tutorial ? TDUF is very complicated for me too but I don't give up :D

Edit: No finally I'm about to give up. TDUF is way to complicated for me.

    I don't know what to do after I've wrote " MappingTool fix-missing --bnkDir "C:\Program Files(x86)\Test Drive Unlmited\Euro\Bnk" "

It says the Bnk1.Map fixing is done. But does it says the new files are now accepted ?

If says Bnk1.map fixing is done, the files are accepted.

  4. can work, but if you want add 50 cars, takes alot of time for the person made the job for you.....

About the TDUF, you execute, then you write:

    MappingTool;

    MapppingTool fix-missing --bnkDir"C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk"

"C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk" is where your tdu is instaled for example.

  5. Also, each step i will save an "installer" .pch file? Like, a .pch to rims, other to give it ID, and so on?

    #thisisconfusing.

You just change the instructions, i make a diferent patches to create names, another to update the rims, ect...

You can do it in the same patch

You need TDUF to accept the new files.

  6. I have a few questions:

1- When giving the reference number to the car name, you've set: 000000001

Can i give it another number? Like, 000111000?

2- If i do that number, i will need to change the 0000010 to "match"? Or this can be a random number?

3- The 010 that you say, where 015 would be Gallardo's, there is another risk to hit other car ID? Or i can give it a 111?

4- When giving the ID for the rims, you have set a very random number like: 06858512, can i change it to: 00111000 for example? Or is this rim number automatically generated?

5- What would be the process of making a slot able to use 2 different rims? Like a M6 that has at the dealer, the option to use M6 rims and M5 rims, where both would be named as:

    BMW_M6_F_01.bnk

    BMW_M6_F_02.bnk

    ?

1 - Yeah, just cannot be the same number of one already exist on TDU database

2 - Yeah you need change to 000111000, because its the value you set, no cannot be the random number

3 - Yeah, you need to see all ID cars value cannot be the sabe number, if 111 no exist on ID cars, you can use.

4 - I think you can, but use a diferent ref of you carphysicsdata for example: 08858512, 10858512, 14858512, ect..., its not generate, you have to create a number.

5 - Yes, but you need give a number the rims file for example: 123|bmw_m6_f01||124|bmw_m6_f_02 you cant use.bnk
