    Well I wouldn't buy a Vauxhall (I've only ever liked the look of a few) ... and I've driven Clio Sports and hated them And I can get a discount on Fiats too :excited: And 180bhp Trubo should easily be enough in a Punto ... too much power is a waste ... you either just end up lighting the front tyres all the time or you end up putting in a diff that then makes it skittish and a nightmare to drive on British roads as a daily driver

    It's not that bad ... shifting your grip takes a bit of getting used to ... the grip change and the weight change make it feel more like a handheld console in some ways

    Punto Abarth SS Hmmm perhaps I should buy one of these .... 1.4 Turbo ... 180 bhp ... mad interior and exterior ... looksi like Fiat are back on a roll! Oh and it's mentioned on a 'few' websites that the Fiat/Abarth stand is the most pleasing on the eye ... I think we've already seen proof of that!

    guys, as promised some pics so far it's not too bad to use ... smallish buttons but no worse than a mobile phone the biggest comment i have is that you have to change your grip on the controller as i tend to wrap my fingers around the controller ... obviously you can with this in the way I've included pics with and without the keyboard so you can compare

    For all the stories as they appear ... http://www.autoblog.com/category/frankfurt-auto-show/ I'm just waiting for Fiat to unveil the Abarth 500 ... hopefully with a 595S version! But in the meantime ... The pics of the GT2 porsche look good. The Up! looks like a great little city car ... the Merc F700 is ugly as hell! Turbo X .... I want one X6 ... anyone think the C-Pillar looks like an Aston/Jag/Mondeo

    I spent ages drooling over the pictures of it ... new destop piccie for my work pc I think! Does look a bit like a 'stealth' (knighthawk) in terms of inspiration.

    Well the 'proper' technology was invented by Lotus from what I remember. They invented something that would produce 'anti' noise to cancel the sound of your engine inside the car and then play a different engine sound over the top, linking it to the throttle to know how the sound should vary. I think it was once demo'd on a Metro which if you sat inside it sounded like an Esprit!

    well I crumbled ... (replace with got bored at work) ... so I now have one ... it fits pretty neatly and is reasonably easy to use I'll take some pics later for those interested

    Hi All, Glad you liked the Post title ... my odd sense of humour kicking in again ... you didn't ACTUALLY think I'd leave this forum did you? Yes we're off on a Narrow Boat .... 6'10" wide ... 60' long And yes done it loads of times before ... this will most probably be my 7th trip on the British Canals ... however my first trip on the canals we're doing Oh and the reason for this time of year ... aren't you kids off back to school? ... and I had a beach holiday in July anyway. Well I'm off to pack ... see you guys in a week.

    ... well only for just over a week. I'm off on holiday ... going to be chugging along the British Waterways at the breathtaking speed of 3-4mph ... no idea how I'm going to be able to react in time at that speed. See you all on the 10th Sept Hybrid

    The trade thing is new to me ... I've had many a 360 Trade finish after a few days with no buyers, that was when no-one was buying DB4s ... need to get back heavily into Trade at some point

    looks like one of the many 'photoshopped' ideas for the next Merc/McLaren that have been around for a few years however these days it looks/sounds like there will be 2 cars ... AMG doing a special for Merc ... and McLaren now doing their own new car ... there's lots about both cars in the motoring press
