  1. Hello everyone and welcome to my photothread!

Here, I will display only the finest shots from the world of Forza Horizon for you to view and enjoy.

Please feel free to comment. I am also open to criticism as this will only further help me improve my shots.

    Thankyou.

Here's something to get this thread started.

I felt the original Red Scarlet colour was too bland so opted for something a little more.. fruity.

  2. Cheers for the heads up on that :)

    No problem!

Got one of these today to add to my 6 External Hard Drives, making this the 7th. I needed the space, okay? :p

Also bought three t-shirts, a hoody and a collector's edition of a game which I will post on Friday when it arrives. I wonder if you can guess which? ;)

  3. Tadah...

A n00bish question, But im guessing they'll send the games out on there release dates? And not sending them both for the same date? D: (Unless they sent them both for Horizon's release date, Im fine  )

Yeah. They send each game out on it's release date, regardless if you bought another game coming out later, at the same time. ;)

  4. The Queen is back!! Great photos dude

Thanks mate. Haven't been active for quite some time but I do pop on now and again to check the forum as it's been my home for the past 5 years. ;)

    Stunnning pics... :drool2:

    Thanks. :)

:O I think I may have seen you! If you seen a guy with a DLSR and a Retro Film camera that would have been me & my mate(he had the cameras). When he goes threw his photos I'll tell him to keep a lookout for you

Also lucky you! I got to get to the hill climb part, I got told we could't go :(

Noice pictures too! I really wanted to see the BMW 2002 up close, along with the Cortinas!

I'm not surprised. Would be cool if you link to a shot of me, haha. :D

I just wandered over to the bit with the hillclimb and nobody said anything apart from when I moved to a certain place and was in one guy's shot. He just politely told me to stand elsewhere as I was in his shot so I moved and everything was fine. I think it was mainly due to how bright my hoody was. Trust me to wear something that stood out so much!

Yeah the 2002 was stunning and so was the Triumph with what sounded like a V8 fitted to it. Gorgeous.

  5. I saw a barrage of things yesterday, bothered uploading many of the pictures just now but I'll give you a few photos I took on my Phone.

Maserati Granturismo MC Stradale, looks great in pictures and even better when you get right up to it! When it was on the track later, it sounds just as good!

  6. I just wanted to upgrade my old DDR2 with DDR3, i think i overdid it a bit....

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 (should be arriving next week)

32GB of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Black 1600MHz (should be arriving next week. yes, i know its over kill....)

AMD FX-8150 (probably ill wait for FX-8350 to come out)

Cooler Master Storm Trooper Full Tower

    Corsair H100

Cooler Master Silence Pro Gold 1200W (or Corsair AX1200)

    Seagate Barracuda 3.5'' 2TB 64MB 7200rpm HDD

    OCZ Agility 3 240GB SSD

Have only 4 months to build it :)

Just thought I would give my thoughts to this build.

Do you REALLY need 32GB of RAM? I mean, REALLY? I guess if you have the money but you shouldn't need any more than 16GB. Obviously it's your money though and I see you have already bought it so that's out of the question really.

As for the processor, why AMD? Intel really have a lead when it comes to processors now especially as apparently the Bulldozer's absolutely suck. I don't have one but that's what I have read and there is very little that's positive about them. Just something to consider of course.

For your power supply, why are you going for a 1200W? Not even systems with quad SLI setups use that much power and I doubt they will even in 3 years time. Same goes with AMD crossfire as I don't know what card you have at the moment. Actually, what graphics card do you have just so I can get an idea?

Good choices with everything else I haven't mentioned though.

  7. Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

An epic game with an epic story. You could easily sink 50 hours into it including the DLC plus you can play again and try out new ways to hunt down and kill enemies as there are several ways. You could even stealth the whole game without killing a single person, apart from the boss fights. It's also on Steam and quite cheap now too. I think it's a strong contender for your preferences unless you have already played it of course!

  8. ;472577']Glad you like them! :) The main trick is the Glidetrack camera slider, which is the locking/sliding rig that allows for smooth side-to-side shots, followed by (in that video) a Glideshot camera crane. The crane is a little obnoxious at events, though, so I try to use it in moderation. ;) Oh, and the camera's a T2i/550d.

    -Leadfoot

I had a feeling that you were using one of those locking/sliding kits for the horizontal shots although I had no idea you actually had a crane for the vertical ones. I can imagine that carrying a crane rig around at an event is quite a big hassle but it definitely pays off for the angles and shots you can achieve with it. Thanks for the explanation.

  9. ;472401']All these:

    -Leadfoot

Excellent video skills man, honestly. Would you be able to explain a bit about your set-up and the equipment you use? I love how you pan in every shot whether it be vertical or horizontal as it makes the video scenes alive.

I can't stress how much I love watching your videos as they have that look and feel as if they were done by a professional. Keep up the good work!
