Fun multiplayer event Thursday 10th March 2010 8pm GMT-10pm GMT Were are going to try out the multiplayer events for fun no points will be given this week. Added a note about lucky jims for some that needed to know do they add to your tally of cruises. Basically a lucky jim is only rewarded with 20pts you have to sign up to the cruise to add them to your tally. If you miss a cruise or are later than 15mins after the start of the cruise you will miss out on adding them to your tally. The lucky jim will always be posted here in the forums in the event thread if they are available. Hanging around the area taking up a slot will not get you a lucky jim slot. If you join the session then you must leave the area asap. If TDU2 keeps you in the session then fly to the other Island. The club has to be strict about this as you are taking up someone's slot that are trying to join. For this reason anyone not out of the session after a warning from the event organiser will be banned from the club without warning. Please understand the importance of this as you would not like not being able to join a event you signed up to.

The points for the cruise are as follows:- 0002 10pts 0003 10pts 0004 10pts 1001 80pts (Best Driver) 1009 10pts 1013 10pts Due to the chaos at the end the black marks are void so the winner of the event goes to the best driver. In future hardcore road rules will have a second in command at the back. One of the quests caused the most chaos so in future this event will be club members only. Until the chaos there was some very good driving from everyone. The reason the physics are so different from TDU1 is they have added weight and inertia. You can no longer go 100MPH into a 90° corner without spinning out. The main problem is still the braking and all cars suffer from massive under-steer and over-steer. If they turn down the under and over-steer a bit this would help.

Club update It's been a busy few weeks for the club. Everyone not on the club members list yet or don't have a club member number I've not forgotten you. I will be spending more time on this part of the club over the next few weeks. There are a few updates to the club please see the first post of this thread. I've also added the rally event under special events. To celebrate the free DLC we will be holding a week of rally events. This will go live a few weeks after the DLC is available to everyone. As some have found out I'm not always available to cruise or chat in TDU2. If you see me driving around and you invite me or connect to me I could be organising club events. I'm sorry I can't join everyone all the time but when I am free I'm more than happy to join you. Remember you can PM me any questions you have anytime and I'll try to answer them asap. Servers are still offline so this cruise is now postponed to a later date. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

There is a problem with the latest build ride you are online with the older version but downloading the latest version stops you connecting to the servers. We will have to wait for the devs to fix the problems.

Did you just download the update ride?

We will give it until 10:30 GMT then we will postpone it until tomorrow or when everyone in the list is free again.

It's call Atari/Eden server switch. We had it a lot on TDU1, full servers then 7:59pm GMT just as the cruise is about to start everyone's got connection problems.

They must be updating the server side with a patch now.

Glad you had fun in the race I had to get my BulletStorm fix after all that slow driving. And boy did it feel good. :) Points for the Hardcore Road Rules cruise will be posted sometime over the weekend.
