Just think on the positive side, every day that passes is one more bug found and corrected. I'm with you all I can't wait any longer but what is the point of releasing it now if it is going to make TDU worst. If they did that then this game will hit a brick wall so I can understand them wanting to take their time and fix all the bugs.

Wow Suio you have been working hard. :D Remember in the rules the procedure for joining the club. We will invite new members when we start the cruises again after the patch. There will be lots of spaces so don't worry about losing a slot. The wait will soon be over I hope.

TDU Central club announcement Due to problems with TDU we have lost the second club house. Also you may have had a message you have joined the TDU Central club but your name is not on the list in the first page. The people on the list here in the forum is correct so when the problems are fixed you may find you are kicked from the club. This will only happen to the people that have not yet joined the club. If you are kicked from the club please rejoin using the procedure stated in the rules. We will be looking for a new owner for the second club house TDU Central #2 after the patch has fixed the problems We apologize for any confusion caused.

The Mole posted this yesterday on the UK Atari forums "As per the official sticky, the patch is undergoing testing to guarantee quality and stability. Further news when available." He also said in another post to sign up to updates on the TDU page if you live in the UK. "If you are in the UK, please subscribe to email notification for TDU pc (go to the product page on the website to select the option). The plan is to send out notification by email as well, but it's likely to be UK only."

Yes but I think this will happen not long after the patch is released. So we just have to wait and see what happens.

Also remember what the last official info said in the Atari Banning Cheats message. Over the next few weeks they are going to reset the leader boards. I would say at the end of June if we don't hear anything more then we can ask questions. But we all want the game to be right so lets just give them more time so no corners are cut and we've got the game we all paid for. So no more where is it, it's not going to get hear any faster.

Would it be possible to have sub sections for clubs? Something like (I'll use my club name as an example):- Clubs - TDU-Central - Announcements - General chat - Events - Info (this is used for rules, tips and general info etc.) - Multimedia (pictures and videos etc.)

After the patch is out and if it fixes all of the problems I'm sure the Island is going to fill up with people. So I have a plan to find 4 or more remote locations where we can all meet. It will be very good if we can fill all 8 slots with TDU-Central players. These 4 or more places will need to added as bookmarks so we can lock together and jump to a different one if it is too busy. Also if more than 8 TDU-Central players want to cruise we can meet at different locations and go on different cruises. So for the next few weeks if you find a place that you think will be good, bookmark it and let us know where it is.

E3 is almost here so then we will know what Sony has up their sleeves. This time they had better have lots of working games not videos of what games could be like. This time next year we will know a lot more about what is available to us gamers. Sony are going to have to work very hard on the PS3 because the competition is a lot stronger this time round. But if anyone can do it then I'm sure Sony can, let battle commence. :D

Yes we are praying it's going to be better when the patch is out. It's not bad just need a bit of luck that's all.

Well how it works is when you are in map mode all players can be seen. But when you exit the map to be in the game you are in a session with a maximum of 8 players. You will see the players names appear, these are the people in the same session as you. Many people have found that they are in the same place in the game as their friend but can't see each other. This is because you are in different sessions. So one of you has to leave the session (best to select the map) and reconnect by clicking on your friends name to try and get in the same session.

I think I understand, all text is displayed to all players in the same session as you. This can be anyone from around the world.

You can set it up in the controls but T is default.

The only way to add friends is to meet them in the game and manually add them. This is not as easy as it sounds because there is no way to search for people online. The only way is to choose a time and a place and zoom in to find their name on the map. Then keep trying to join them until they show up in the same session as you. Now the fun part, this is where I went wrong when I first started playing TDU and lost a lot of my friends. You must add the person as a friend, they will get a message to say yes or no to be your friend. They must then do the same to add you as a friend or you will not show up on their map. This is because they are not your friend so they have to add you manually as well. Then you will get the message to accept them to be your friend. If all worked ok you can now use the filter on the map to display only your friends and they should show up on the map. Complicated I know but after a few months it will become second nature. ;)

You have to win achievement points. Look at your career progress at your house, you will see how many points you need for the next level. Also you will find how the points are broken up into different achievements.

I feel the patch is not going to be far away now so check back here soon. The time is almost here to go cruising again. :excited: (hopefully :cry:)
