  1. I did see you and clicked on you to join but you were gone. I think there is a delay from the time you see someone on the map to when you join that part of the road. The only way I found to join someone is if they stop and wait. I found some good people in the end and we had a drive for 2 hours around the Island. I said to them I will try and be at the light house at 8PM UK time every night (not tonight as I will be busy). We may have to find another location soon as the light house is very busy and you can easily fill up 8 slots.
  2. I should be on then so see you there. I don't have a mic yet so I will have to type and drive which is always a challenge. Will it be too much of a problem not being able to speak? If so I will not show up this time until I get a head set and mic.
  3. Thanks Diablo I changed the skin to TDU Central default and I see them now.
  4. Evenings and weekends are ok for me. How do you get the gamespy ID to show up? Is it a setting in the CP? I know I added my ID but I can't see mine or other people's.
  5. Yes it's SLI that's the problem, the Vista drivers are still not good. I have almost the same system but one 8800 GTS which should run the game without any problems at full. But there are lots of times the game runs a 1 FPS with everything on high. I know from the Atari forum there is a low FPS problem and a patch should make it better. But the drivers problem and Vista don't help. Another problem I have is I have to close the Vista side bar because when I use the map and scroll to the edge on the right the Vista analogue clock shows up. This could been a planed feature to show you just how long you have been driving ;) (Another exclusive to Vista :D)
  6. Yes it should be good I am interested also.
  7. Thanks Johansen that should help.
  8. Dose anyone know where I can download a good map that shows all unlocked locations? I thought I had seen a Xbox 360 version but can't remeber where that was. The problem I have is I can't find the tuning shops for all the cars, how are they unlocked?
  9. It's funny you say that, this happened last night but not with the F1 but the SLR. I was in my Shelby GT 500 and got challenged, I said not in this car but he kept following me where ever I went. So I was pushing the GT 500 to the limit to get away and he lost it on a corner and crashed into a tree. He then disappeared off my sat nav. I guess he quit with embarrassment.
  10. Thanks Diablo, it would be cool if they patched the PC version to work over LIVE when it's avalible in the summer. Then the XBOX 360 and PC players can be together. :)
  11. I messed around with the driving aids because I'm insane. Very true ;)
  12. Thanks to all, I will be on this site most days so I'm sure I'll enjoy the community :D
  13. I did a search in google and found this site. I was looking for some fan sites to get some more info and I found this one. A very good find it was too :)
  14. Hi, I have been looking at this site for a few weeks and now I have TDU I thought it was a good time to register. :excited: I have the PC version because I don't have a Xbox 360 so I hope to meet some PC racers. I am a great fan of sim racing and mostly race online. TDU is not a sim but it dose have the best of both worlds. Sim racing is hardcore and on the edge but not always fun. Arcade racing is fun but not realistic in any way. So TDU I'm happy to say is very much the best of both worlds. It also has some very fresh features that racing games have never had before. I like muscle cars for cruising and Italian sports cars for racing. So you will see me on the island in one or the other mostly. (If you are in a McLaren F1 and I'm cruising in my 65 Mustang no I'm not going to accept your challenge :) ). Hope to see you on the island soon.
