    Excuse me good sir, that ain't drifting. That's n00b-handbraking. @kisame: Reach a corner at full speed, get off the gas, dive into it, tap the brakes, downshift, then give a sharp steer on the wheel and floor the gas pedal at the same time. When the rear axle loses grip, countersteer and balance the gas to keep the trajectory and straighten the car to exit the corner. Now you know how to perform a powerslide. I suggest you the Ferrari 288 GTO as a drift-school car. Oh and kisame, FOR GOD'S SAKE TURN OFF THE DRIVING AID.

    BTW, am I the only one who sometimes feels like following basic road rules, like stopping at a red light or a stop sign, and looking both ways before crossing an intersection? It can seem stupid for a racing game, but it saved my perfect score in vehicle delivery missions a few times.

    No-one thought about the most obvious solution. Get the car, select the multiplayer race set on the start line of the oahu raceway, then choose to try the race in single player. Easy.

    It depends. I made 2 custom radios. The first one is for cruisin, and since I often cruise with my Miura or the Ferrari 288 GTO, this radio has mostly 80's songs from Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Duran Duran, Oingo Boingo, Madness, A-ha, Alphaville and so on, the only exception are a couple of tracks by Jamiroquai. The second one is for racing, so it's entirely nu-metalish with Static-X, Disturbed, Drowning Pool etc.

    Could you give me an advice about something similar to FRAPS, maybe freeware or shareware with reasonable limitations? Gamecam is right out, since It just doesn't start on my pc (every time I try to install it, it gives me the message "GCF File Corrupted: Another install may fix this monkey-programmed software") Thanks in advance guys.

    I sell my orange 'vette Z06, hasn't travelled far, stage 3. I'll take pictures as soon as I get home (and if the car is still there, since it's been for sale for 2 days). Lots of people are selling the corvette Z06, not a succesful car is it?

    A Merc CLK AMG challenged me yesterday. Downhill race, starting from the house on Diamond Head's rim. I couldn't win, B vs. G class. And then, he ate my dust. Never underestimate my Miura. NEVER! Here's a screenshot kept for posterity. Lamborghini Miura: Outrunning arrogant brats since 1966.

    Waaaaah! How could you? The Catty is the best car for mountain pass races imho. An innumberable count of lulz were had when I ran against murcielagos and such in an uphill, in multiplayer that is.

    I also sell my orange 'vette Z06, not many miles on it, stage 3, for I-Don't-Remember-How-Much-I'll-Check-When-I-Get-Home. I didn't like the corvette, for the B-Class I'd stick with the Ascari.

    Got it today. I tried it at the showroom, I was like "meh" for the first km... ...then came the first corner, then another, and another, and another one. Love at first bend, you know what I mean? It's not my Miura (1092km so far) but I love this baby.

    MIRACLE! I opened the Nvidia control panel to check a few options, and I found out that my settings were blown off (even if I chose to keep my old profile when I uninstalled the old drivers) Anyway, I set it to "enhance application settings" instead of forcing the options inside the panel, and now the game is all nice and smooth, 1280x1024 max details max AA, even with HDR on.
