  1. Yeah I went all the way up that spiral thinking thats the way into the stadium lol :( Anyway with the drift pics how do you take em, cause if I am online with someone else and I go into photo mode there car keeps moving, unlike mine which freezes in the spot for the photo. BTW, they are pretty awesome, number 3 and 4 are my fav's.
  2. Thanks guys, this thread has provided me with alot of quality photos to look at so I have to try give some back ... Bought myself my baby today, shes a beautiful thing aye ... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-6.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/hayness87/TDU/GTO288-4.jpg
  3. There is no fee to play. I have never been online and seen less than about 20 people on, quite easy to find someone to join in with the only real problem is there are so many non english speaking players.
  4. Oh man 1 gig limit! How do you do it  I downloaded a patch for one of my games yesterday and it was 600mb hehe, Im on 12gb a month now which is plenty good if I dont go downloading extra things. I tryed TDU witth capped net just before and if I end up connecting most things end up warping all over the place, ah well I got exams to do anyway.
  5. Eek nar dont get a Capri, your young and like racing games, time to get your hands on SR20DE Nissan Silvia with a manual gearbox, rear wheel drive is the way to go young one but I am largely biased hehe. If I didnt get a Jap turbo I prob would have gone a cheapy like a 1992 Toyota Corolla preferably with the 4AGE engine it, they're tough I hear. Honestly theres few convertibles I like, and a $6,000 one is definitly not one of them. Utes are good but if your not going to use the tray then whats the point. Regardless, anything is better than a Capri. Best thing to do is join Australian forums for different car sites. www.nissansilvia.com -www.ozhonda.com - www.toymods.net. You will learn SO much from sites like these especially if you're somewhat of a car enthusiast. Once all is said and done its your choice on what to get and it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks, in the end a car is still just a car.
  6. Argh I just got capped today, Telstra has rooted us I havnt even hit my download limit, apparantly its because they are changing there usage systems :stinks: Sorry Shadow.
  7. These are my settings - Resoloution: 1680x1050 Details on high AA at 4x AF at 8x (Forced on with ATI tray tools) HDR on I get anywhere between 16 FPS to 30 FPS, my main let down is that my graphics card is only 256mb so I really need alot more vRAM to use such high resoloutions, you can see the rest of my system in my signature. Even with AA at 4x the game doesnt look as smooth as I would have expected, not sure why ...
  8. hehehe, well regardless I'm certain I drove a car yesterday that had a stick shifter but there was no animation for changing gears, anyone else noticed this? Buggered if I can remember the name of the car though :(
  9. 10. Hey hey guys! I picked up TDU for the PC on Monday and been having a great time playing it since. My favourite single player missions are the delivery missions (Package and car delivery) but online play is where the funs at, I love cruising around and joining others on the road. I am totally addicted to bikes in this game, awesome feeling squeezing through traffic at 340km/h with another few guys online. Though the cars can be fun for some sedate cruising around the island, which I also enjoy very much. I have been gaming religiously online since I was about 13, mainly playing flight / racing / combat simulators so TDU is a bit of a change, I'm also currently playing Red Orchestra and Armed Assault. Thanks for making these forums guys, I'm sure I'll enjoy them.
  11. Before I bought TDU I googled screenshots for it and found the screenshots thread in the PC forums.
  12. Might Join you guys for the next cruise, got these forums under favourites now so ill keep a look out here.
