I recently purchased this game for PC I love it :) Sorry to all you haters, but this is a good game. The drag racing is my favorite. Its about as close to the real thing as you can get via a video game these days. Grip is good also. The driving is very close to gran turismo only a little watered down... Drift sucks. I do not like the drift events. Speed is fun also. Though it doesn't require as much input as the other modes, you still get a great sense of speed. The whole game is built around the 'do or die' method. You mess up and you're boned. Its that simple. Another thing that I REALLY like is the car selections. This is the first game I've played that has a proper model of a 2003 Mustang and Shelby GT500. Those are my two favorite cars in the game. Both are drag racers right now, lol. I'll make some videos :)

lol, I got frustrated and bought a new card today. 7300GT 512mb Its not the best obviously, BUT HEY! Now it says I can play TDU, hehe

You won't love it as much once you discover how screwed the PS2 version is compared to the 360 and PC versions :( But congratulations anyways, lolz

It is very easy to drift at high speeds with the koenigsegg. Find a long straigh way and just turn left and right until the car starts to drift. Keep it under control and you can get a great drift bonus.

Well, I'd thought as much...... Thanks for responding! And I've been looking at the 7800gs and x1950 Pro AGP cards.. If I'm gonna get a new card, I think I should probably get the best I can. Anyone selling either of those? lol

I don't have the PC version, but I will soon and I can say that if the DLC was good enough, I would probably pay for it to get it. If it was like, some crappy cars or something then no. I'd just go without. On the other hand.... if it was an expansion disc with 50+ cars, etc. on it that I could buy at my local gamestop, then heck yes I would buy it.

Hmmm, i just picked up a free PC from a friend who got a new one... P4 3.0ghz hyperthreading, etc.. 1280mb DDR 400mhz RAM nVidia FX5200 256mb I know the requirements are met, but my only problem is with the video card.... is the 5200 supported by the game or do I need to find a newer card? (I mean, I KNOW I need to find a newer card, but d'you think I can get away with just this?)

Ford GT is my car of choice :D Its not much for top speed obviously, but I like the way it handles. By way of the game, its not technically the best handling car, but as far as driving technique goes... it is the easiest for me to throw around corners and maintain control. :)

I waited until Juiced was in the $3.99 bin at GameStop before I bought it :P Its not too bad, I like some of the customizations and the game features are kind of cool, racing with a crew, placing bets, etc.... But I was generally disappointed. Not at all what I thought it would be. Though I still have it and play it occasionally.

SO I take it I'mm the only idiot still playing this on PS2??? LOL I'm getting a gaming computer like, tomorrow, TDU for PC is on the list of stuff I'm getting. Whatever though. I've still been playing PS2 online :D

No. Its a terrible list. We got the Saleen S7 but they neglected to give us the Saleen Mustangs... along with every other cool car in the Pc/360 versions....

yeah, on PS2 you can't change around the controls. Most newer racing games on PS2 that use the d-pad for extra functions don't allow you to modify the controls.

Yep, Its an Auto. My choices at the time were this beautiful black 4spd auto v6 mustang, or a crummy looking brown beat up 99 5spd v6 coupe with cheap knock-off hubcaps and 'euro' taillights... The choice was obvious, lol

I'm working on turning it into a totally unique V6 Cobra 3.8litre V6 200hp 220tq 4 speed autoMAGIC transmission, lol Really, its nothing special.... yet ;) I use a 5.1megapixel Sony Cybershot. Its definitely not professional, but I've learned to make-do with what I have and I get really great results with it :) Anyone wanna buy my old car? :eek_blue: No gas, no insurance and no tag. And you'll have to come pick it up :P

I'd have to scan the others and that just takes far too much time. Its in really good shape and the engine is a monster. Unfortunately, nobody around here seems to want it bad enough to buy it. And thanks for the compliments everyone. I take my photography and my addiction to automobiles very seriously :D

Well, the way things are looking it seems that most of the visual stuff will have to wait... I've just ordered some performance parts this weekend (CAI and throttle body spacer) And it ended up costing me a bit more than I had expected... Together both packages were about $300 shipped, so I think I'll manage to get the Chin spoiler and maybe window tints... If I would hurry up and get my other car sold, I'd be much farther along this process....... grrr Oh, but I'm getting a new Audio system this month, I just need to go in and schedule a time to have it done. I'm just a tad bit excited about that :monkeydance: And thank you both for the compliments :)
