  1. That's good news! I can add more slots of course, will do this for beta 2 (100 cars and 20 bikes more). Hey. - Yes, update is meant to be like this. Be sure to get beta 1, as beta 0 had a bug. - For now, I have issues when enhancing cameras.bin with new cameras. It resets all vehicle cams to default :( That's the reason why new slots don't have their own camera reference : new cars use default car cam, new bikes use default bike cam (999 and 666 respectively). If I have time to find a solution, I will do it (as I've mentioned in TDUCP features) In the meantime, you may either use a more convenient cam from a genuine slot, or you can change default car camera with Miha's tool (cam ref is 999) - it will affect all TDUCP cars using this cam anyway.
  2. Hi, I'm not an expert in rim settings, but maybe changing physics only has effect on tire dimensions .... ? You should ask author or users , recommended settings for this mod.
  3. As stated before, Alfa GTs will be delivered 'as is' in this patch and won't be updated anymore. Cardata.mdb is indeed 50% smaller, I've compacted database with Office Access. Don't worry, all that people need is still there ;) --- Edit: BETA 1 available with important fix on UPDATE package.
  4. BETA 0 available! Thanks for all great feedback I've received along the ALPHA testing process :nods: What's new in this version? - Now proposes 2 Zip files to download: Full version, to install onto a freshly installed game Update version, to apply to an already modified game. Contains most of the features. - Moves updated TDUMT's VehicleSlots.xml file - Moves updated TDUPE's carData.mdb file (check tools directory) - Unlocked/new slots have been removed from OahuCars/Bikes dealers. Locating vehicles is up to you now! Bugfixes - Removes some database duplicates - Adds missing rims and huds in TDUPE reference - Fixes new slots can't be saved in TDUPE - Fixes HUD file reference for Unlocked Brabus S55 Slot - Fixes conflict in HUD file reference for Unlocked Mazda RX8 Slot Known Bugs You tell me! Downloads See first post.
  5. That's a mean to extract instant information from a running TDU to the outside world ;) You can find such a feature in pCars or AssettoCorsa. There are many advantages, but mainly gives the ability to display speed, odometer, engine velocity in a third party application (phone, tablet ....). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sensadigit.dashmeterforacpc
  6. As promised in the beginning, 2 separate zips: - Full version when you reinstall the game (extract and replace all files) - Update version to get fixes and features without loosing your mods (extract in your game directory and execute an installer script). Status will thus get to BETA.
  7. Not a bug it's a feature :) Update mode is on the way btw. When it's ready a release version will be available under both formats.
  8. Yes, you can try using another rim file (replace in Vehicules\Rim\Default, ....._F is for front, ...._R is for rear) But a better, more reliable solution is to modify rim dimensions with another tool (TDUMT/TDUPE can't). TDUF for example.
  9. Vehicle height: I read 101.3, decimal separator can't be a dot. Making your car with incredible physics :D You should try with a comma: 101,3
  10. I don't think it's the patch's fault. You car did not appear as something (a tool ?) has changed the car file name : so the game was trying to load Porsche.bnk files instead of TDUCP_3000.bnk, for US or GE languages only ... Model and submodel names can be changed freely, other names (files etc) should not as they are essential to good functioning of the game. Might be due to a bug in TDUPE. Maybe time to use newer tool as TDUF ? I've fixed database in attachment below. Let me know if that works. I've added 100+ new slots to stop replacing original TDU cars ... So use the TDUCP slots instead, please we are not in 2010 anymore. The 3 Alfas are linked by the same names indeed, so that's a waste of time trying to create independent slots for this.
  11. Name issue occurs if selected tdumt/tdupe country is not the same as your save game. Please check This before changing names. Color issue is not a real one, blue is the default color for new slots. You can change this and add new colors with tdumt
  12. Yes, that would work that way. Not 100% sure though as I'm not reponsible for TDUPE development.
  13. Before saving car in TDUPE, check if Model and Sub Model (last tab : Name Editor) are correct : left column(Text Value) must contain something. If this is empty, game will crash. So give a value in ID which points to an existing name. Alternatively, you can change model name and version name with TDUMT if you are not comfortable with this. Edit: Just opened Kvrt's Porsche GT3 RS Physics, and I saw the issue. If you apply it, game willl search a car name and sub model names that do not exist. These physics are not compatible with TDUCP and should be fixed by the user.
  14. Nope, crash at startup is due to an incorrect car and model names set in TDUPE for this slot (bug in in performance pack ?) The file fixes saving issues and missing options with TDUPE.
  15. Here is an update TDUPE's carData.mdb file with following fixes : - added 'unknown' values (engine location, brake types) - added huds and rims for new slots (3001->3100 and 4001->4020) It will be included in next release, as well.
  16. Okay, I will add things to TDUPE's carData.mdb to solve those issues. After that, you should not have to reselect items. I hope.
  17. There are 3 items which are not okay between TDUCP slots and TDUPE still: - engine location - front brakes type - rear brakes type Try to select an existing 'drop down' value for each item before saving in TDUPE (e.g, center, discs, discs) How many vehicles in Nissan tuner ? It might be full (try with japan imports at south east)
  18. That's some good news! Thanks for the feedback
  19. Thanks for valuable information! I'll have a look at it. There seems to be an issue with tdupe and new slots indeed...
  20. They are missing in carData.mdb so they don't appear. Is there an issue when saving car with TDUPE? If TDUPE crashes when saving, make sure to give a value to Engine position, Front brakes Type and Rear brakes Type, Anyway, you can edit carData.mdb with MS Access, and add hud and rims by yourself. Else I will update file for next release if necessary.
  21. Database files I need are contents of Euro\Bnk\Database directory, which you may add to a zip file. Thanks for giving your feedback ! ++
  22. Hi, indeed this patch is not compatible with car megapack for now. Otherwise what you described seems just fine. - install patch 2.00A, overwrite all files - install your car mod like you did - do NOT replace Bnk1.map with MagicMap (as 2.00A comes with AwesomeMap) - game should start already - change with TDUMT - game should start still - change with TDUPE - game should start still :) If that does not work, send me your database files.
  23. I don't understand quite what you need here, they already get their own slots, and you should not install mods onto them anymore :) Please test vehicle before applying performance pack, and see if issue is present already Also, which install steps did you follow ? Attach performance pack here if you can. Thanks!
  24. :) I understand you being nuts about waiting a final release. But I can't really give a release date, that is too complicated. I could not consider this patch as final, as too many things have to be done still. The best I can do is to continue working on it ...
