We, tool831 and Iced_Bullet have checked all the .bnk files in C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Level\Hawaii\Spots , they are all exterior textures releating to various buildings around the map, from the Diner, to the Dealerships. To mod these files, Use the .bnk editor, to open the .bnk, extract various .2db files and convert them to .dds where they can be modified in Photoshop. Here is a more indepth general tutorial [link]. Notes: - Unknown files are blanks and could find anything telling me the name or textures. - Interior textures are found here - C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Interior - They have the same end name, just they are named 'i##_#.bnk' as they are releating to interior textures. So 'eam_a.bnk' has the interior 'iam_a.bnk' file. Iced_Bullet Edit - Thanks tool for spending the time to make this (+rep). I updated a few of the names and made it easier to see how the file names relate to the building they are. Just so other can work out unknowns. There is no store close by that sells computer parts etc, there is only that one which was in the link that is close and that i can get too.

Hmm.. fair enough well i have had a look on the site for your cards you listed and they are not listed on my local computer store. Could i give you the link to the place and pick out a card whats in my price range cause that way its much faster to find a card thats at my computer store.

I was on my local computer store website and all i can find well what is decent and in my price range is: $300 or lower. --------- XFX GeForce 9600GT 512mb DDR3 - $230 AU Leadtek 9600GT 512 PCI-E2 - $205 AU NX8600GTS Diamond plus - $199 AU Nividia 8600GT 512mb - $109 ------- Thats how they were listed on the site... If you can list anymore in $ AU then let me know otherwise tell me what you think is best outta the list even know you do mention the 9600GT. I also have a funny feeling most of them are the same.. :o

Thanks guys, i guess ill have a look around at compter stores for the 8800gt or 8800gts cause i do want antialising to be at least 4x. Rest of my computer meets the requirements so it should play alright. :)

I've been a fan of the crysis game and having fun with the sandbox program along with it, i only can play it on low that was with the demo. What do you think would be a good graphics card to run it on medium or semi high settings? i dont care for the very high settings etc i just wanna run it on medium or semi high settings. :)

So im using my mums computer and it cant support TDU :cry:. I will however get it back in 2 days or tomorrow so once i get it back ill show you new progress of the Audi A3 interior and exterior shot. Got a problem with it atm but hopefully i can get it to work, i cannot get it coloured just yet so it would have to be in black or if white works later on it would be that. :) Glad many people like it, will update soon with new screenshot of complete interior and exterior view.

Sure this isnt gonna be a popular thing, but i would like to share a addon i would call it, what im doing. I'm working on exterior texturing atm, and what ive planned to do is make cars have defogger lines. Some cars in TDU already have it but are too pixelated or you can't notice them, im gonna research what cars have it an what don't, i belive everycar should have them but ill still have a look. :) http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p140/race_invader/Untitled-dsd1.jpg Not the final look but its a WIP, i will take better pictures as it gets better in that screen its just not colour, pretty much its just lines, i do however already have gotten the lines to come out colour and to be placed into the interior too. IMO this add's slight realism to the game. It does nothing sure, but it adds the effect cause real cars have defogger lines so this would make the appearence of each car slightly more real. I will make this avaliable to download if people are interested & ill keep posting updates too. :)

Well, i finally got TDU about 2 days ago. I can run it at: 1280-720 resolution, Refresh rate 60hz, 4x anti-aliasing & no HDR? thats pretty good for a 7600GS.

Yep.. i did just that.. :o Until i figured that i had to make the .dds into .2db, pretty stupid of me to forget that, seeing ive been watching every mod and how to do it.

Finally got TDU today and i followed the steps to creating/importing new number plates but except when trying to replace 'plate.2db' it says "It has to be 56bytes larger than the BNK Editor allows. It will truncated to fix" Is this a error or something? Here is what im trying to put as my number plate. :)

ws_??? files & Home TV question Well ive had a search through some files on TDU what ive been sent, it has stuff like ws_controls and more of them, is there anything that can make the same image so new added stuff looks 3D? :) Sorry if asked but i did use the search function and didn't come up with anything what i typed up. -- Edit: Can you change the video played on the screen inside your house?

I'm not talking about the xbox TDU, this is for PC of course.:) I can hook my xbox 360 sound cables to the computer and play any game while recording and well it can be used for sounds. If you have heard the sound sample what ive put that is directly from PGR4.

Would anyone want to help me create sounds? i can record sounds from Forza motorsport, PGR3 & PGR4 also i can record Pro street sounds. These are top quality. As i do not have TDU yet i have been recording sounds etc but it would be good to have fellow sound creators and members to make this work. :) All sound recordings are straight out of the xbox 360 no mic's or any special equipment has been used, just the AV audio cords connected directly into the computer. Here is a recording ive done from PGR4 on the Enzo just for a show of how it turns out.
