Not yay :( My PC is kinda old now, I've modified it a bit since buy, but it's still pretty old. I turned on TDU, went for new save game, played for a bit, wanted to buy my first car and PC turned off. Windows doesn't want to start normally, it starts in safe mode and VGA mode, where I currently sit. I hope my graphics card didn't die, I'll try to uninstall the drivers for it and install new ones, maybe they've crashed for some reason. Well, hopefully. Edit: Good news is, nothing is terribly broken. The bad news is, my fan on graphic card has stopped working and that's why my computer shut down. I put normal 10 cm fan very close to it, so far seems to be working, temperatures in Windows are normal. I have to test it in TDU though, if temperatures won't get too high.

I can beef up the GT5 sound through the equalizer to make it more 'meaty'. But I don't promise anything for now, I'll do my best, but I haven't done this for over 2 years now.

OK, reading this sad message about servers closing made me nostalgic and I came back here. Maybe I can dig my TDU save, remind myself how I made the sounds before and make new ones. Old sounds that aren't available for download are gone for good unless someones has them and uploads them for me, then I can upload them again. Otherwise, it's gone. For the new sounds, I will record my own samples from GT5 (some sounds are good, they're not really hoovers like people tend to say) and maybe FM4 (but I need to ask my friend for help with these. Any requests for now? :)

I'm not talking about practical top speed. I'm saying theoretically, if there would be enough power and no air drag. At 7000 RPM on 6th gear it should reach 324 mph.

I don't want to tune it. I want to make it real. Top speed should be: 1st gear - 61 mph 2nd - 91 3rd - 124 4th - 162 5th - 216 6th - 324 :O - that's over 500 kph And yes, they are for sure in miles per hour. Z06 has THIS LONG gears.

I don't know, I haven't tried all cars. But with others, for example Gallardo, it works fine. I think it has something to do with the wrong gear ratios that it uses, but I don't know how to fix it. Have you tried change gear ratios in Z06?

Hey, I tried to change gear ratios on my Z06 both with TDU PE and TDU MT and values change, but it doesn't have any affect at all on my Z06 ingame. Does anybody know what's wrong with that? I wanted to change them, because though values are good, speed on gears are fake, really. Real Z06 have veeeeeeeeery long gears (325 mph on 6th gear possible! :twisted: with enough power of course)

No, that's not easy to fix and I'll tell you why. In this particular sound all off sounds have a moment of high pitch at the beggining. So, on the beginning they seem good, then they go a bit lower. If I would change something, the transitions between offs will be ruined. And personally, for me, the synchronicity between onhigh and offhigh is good, maybe offhigh is even a little bit too high. But this is just my opinion :) Edit: Or maybe something in TDU's sound settings for Z06 is not good. Because listen to the synchronicity between onhigh and offhigh. Offhigh is too high pitched. And in the mid samples offhigh is too low. But transitions between all off sounds are practically perfect. So actually, the only option is to try doing Z06 sound based on other sound. But it's doing same work again and I have really no motivation to do it.

As previous Z06 sound was made a long, long time ago, it's another remake from the beginning. Much better transitions, better quality starter etc... Why should I talk so much? Hear it yourself! Ignition time: 0.58 seconds 19.04: I now fixed the off sounds cause Urban was obviously right :o (thanks for that), and the download for the new version is available. Also the preview is new. I keep the old one tho, so you have a comparision. As you may know, I'm back for a while. I'm not doing sounds as fast as when I was beggining with modding, because I have not a lot time now and I'm making my mods more perfect now ;) I'm going to redo some sounds that I did before, because they don't sound that good as they could be. At the moment preview movie for new Z06 sound is uploading, hope you'll like it. Cheers :) PS. I wonder, why my recent Gallardo sound have so little downloads compared to the other sounds? :confused: Some answers: Where do you want me to post it? Of course I can, but you must know that some sounds have the same bnk file name and it can be hard to recognize what is what. Maybe later. Much later. My priority are Shift sounds, then some sounds from other game. Only other game that has 8C is Forza, correct me if I'm wrong. So I would have to ask my friend to record some samples from there, and when you're not a sound modder, this is not easy, because you don't know what revs you should record and how. Sadly, I don't have Xbox and I don't have it in plans even. But I have PS3 and GT5 in plans :) It'll probably be in similiar time to TDU 2 debut, but as it is different island, I don't think TDU 1 will die. ;)

He says that volume change between starter and idle is too big. Solution: ignition time 1.05 seconds.

Yes, I know the ignition does not fit with the idle. You can always shorten it in TDU PE, so this roar will be cut and it will be ok. But I just adore this roar, and I don't care if it doesn't fit.
