A Norwegian man out for his weekly ice-swim (yep you read that right) found a duck traipsing along the frozen ice when it got into a spot of trouble and fell through a hole in the ice. Lars Jørun Langøien watched the duck for a few minutes along with a fellow swimmer but after a short while it was clear the animal wasn't finding it's way back to safety and just seemed to give up. Lars not considering his own safety jumped into the icy lake and rescued the duck from it's ice tomb, brought it back to solid ground and EVEN performed some mouth-to-mouth on the animal to bring it back to life!
A god to ducks everywhere! :duck:
