No Chainsaws Please!
The last time I enjoyed getting dirty on two wheels in a video game was probably way back when the PS3 first was released with MotorStorm. Before then it was some MX game a friend of mine had on PS2. Sure, there have been other games since (such as Pure or MUD) but there is still room for the genre to grow (don't forget those rumours of a potential Road Rash remake from Criterion Games and Slightly Mad Studios).
So Milestone, who've also recently made MotoGP and WRC games, have now announced a license for MXGP (MotoCross Grand Prix) riders and their dirt bikes. Here's the full press release:
Official License
60 riders, 60 bikes, 14 tracks and rules from the official MX1 and MX2 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship.
Realism
It's "The Game About Motocross" and this is injected in all the aspects of the game: realistic bike physics, rider motion-captured animations, dirt systems, new terrain deformation system.
Be a Motorcross Rider
Live the real life of a motorcross rider with the career mode: signing contract with Official MX Teams depending on his results try to became the new champion.
Tracks
All the tracks are completely new and loyoal to the real ones: realistic illumination, 3D environments, fan, baloon and animated flag... show the real Motorcross World!
