The main goal of this project was to track down and fix many little bugs that were missed by the developers. As the time went by we started adding our own custom content. The patch grew bigger and bigger to the point that UP started to look more like a modpack than a small patch.

TDU2: UP fixes a lot of car's specific bugs - like Lotus Evora gear ratios, Audi Q7 collapsing into tarmac etc. To preserve vanilla driving feeling and performance my changes to the car's physics were done very conservatively.

This mod provides easy access to vehicles (through dealerships) which were removed from the final game. The first release of the patch restored to the game all deleted cars (for example Nissan 370z Nismo and HotRod). Future releases provided cars made by our talented modders. All new vehicles have improved physics and balanced performance - player without UP would still have a chance of winning in multiplayer race using only official vehicles from the same segment - do not worry.

WARNING!

If you don't want your cars turn into Miami's Mustangs DO NOT run TDU2 without Unofficial Patch. Never ever. If you have to run the game without TDU2UP at least backup your savegame!

 

Please check out my new creation. TDU World Car Pack. It features almost all content from the Unofficial Patch adds a ton of new cars, has new physics and much more. You can download and install the Pack with TDU World Mod Manager available HERE.
* uninstall Unofficial Patch prior to installing the new mod!

Since the version 0.4.1 in order to install the Unofficial Patch you are no longer required to unpack the game.
Just install the mod to your regular TDU2 directory and play - very easy!

I tried to get back into TDU2 after a long time, but the UP v0.4.1 says there's a previous version installed and that it's unable to uninstall the previous version. How do I fix this?

When the installer asks you to uninstall the previous version of the UP just select "no" and the installer will take you to the next step.

Great mod guys! Everything installed easily and works correctly. I wish there were more new cars. For example, replace the absolutely unnecessary 3 versions of the Bugatti Veyron and all these also useless China_edishn with the latest cars like Aston Martin Vulcan or older La Ferraris or damn it, where is McLaren at last!?!?!)))))

That's weird, unless the game is unpacked. Please post a screenshot of your TDU2 directory content in the support thread.

Amazing but I get ERR:3 in exploration. Not sure why. Also the exploration patch doesn't seem to work. I think the game says it's on QA Patch v034 16 or something.

I'm enjoying the mod thus far. Although, I've ran into an issue where I cant get past the Rival race with Miami Harris. Every time I beat her upon restarting the game it asks me to race her again.

It's a known problem of the newer GPUs. UP does not resolve this issue. Check this fix out:

Bin leider noch nicht wirklich dazu gekommen die Neuerungen zu probieren. Den ich habe das Problem, wenn ich die Karte รถffne das dass Spiel sich aufhรคngt und nicht mehr reagiert. Ich muss es dann mit dem Taskmanager beenden. Gibt es vielleicht eine Mรถglichkeit dieses Problem zu beheben?

Changelog doesn't mention improved brakes power. I do not understand why you complain about it here.

Hi there, the mod content seems really fine in the text, but I'm having an issue launching the game with the mod installed. To be specific, the game just does not launch. When I press "play" in TDU launcher, the screen goes black as if the intro is to begin and a second later, the game just closes and nothing else happens. Anybody got idea what might be wrong?

The installer had a bug which is fixed now (corrupted GamePC.cpr file). Please re-download the installer and install again. Sorry.

I used for a bit and i like it, but I reinstalled the game so I had to reinstall the unofficial patch. So I installed it on the unpacked folder and it installed normaly but when I run TDU2 the patch doesn't appear, any IDea how to resolve ?

The common mistake is installing the patch in the incorrect directory or launching packed game instead of the unpacked.
I suggest to make another attempt and install UP version 0.4.1. New version is easier to install and does not require unpacking the game.

UP is free of this issue. Certain mods made by other authors has corrupted the camera settings. If you install other mods on top of UP I can not be responsible for their bugs.

Question just installed the patch I have the steam version of the game it say successfully installed im still on ibiza and cant tell if its working or not dont notice any new cars or changes..

There should be an Unofficial Patch logo visible on the start screen. If there isn't you are launching the game without UP installed. Try the newest version of the mod which does not require unpacking the game.

Hey Thanks for the patch but i got one question where can i find the other cars please ?

Look for them in dealerships? But seriously, if you have problem finding cars make sure you have discovered all of the dealerships. For example - if you look for Audi R8, have discovered only one Audi dealership and the R8 is not there - you should find the second one. Same for British Cars, Ferrari, etc. There are 2 dealerships of each type per island.

Absolutely love it. The only thing that bothers me is a lot of the clothes in shops for females make your body invisible. I've been told this is attributed to the patch but I'm not sure. So you still get 5 stars lol.

PNJ Clothes Store is an UP exclusive store. It offers NPC clothes which are not always compatible with the player's model.

A must have for everyone. It fixes major issues that the developers never got around to, making some originally undrivable cars driveable again!
