  1. James Bond boat stunt gone wrong more like. :cheeky:
  2. That list was to show who from TDU is working on TDU2, it doesn't show those who only worked on TDU2.
  3. Huh? A lot of work for games these days is done via outsourcing and where did you hear only 14 people worked on TDU2?
  4. The game hasn't been announced as having gone Gold yet so the final release version can't be out there, a release candidate perhaps but not the final.
  5. Takashi Kumagai, Shogakukan's editor in charge of the Hayate the Combat Butler manga, revealed in an interview with the Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site that the next step after the Hayate film is already being planned. Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine had announced last month that first-time director Hideto Komori is helming the theatrical film. The original manga — and the anime based on it — follow a boy named Hayate who serves as a butler, bodyguard, confidante, and more to a girl named Nagi to pay off a 156,804,000-yen (about US$1.8-million) debt. Kumagai also mentioned the separate live-action television series that the Taiwanese production and broadcasting company Gala TV will premiere this spring. This live-action series is part of the overall "2011 Hayate the Combat Butler Project" along with the anime film, although Kumagai noted that the live-action cast is depicted as adults (unlike in the original manga). He also indicated that big changes are in store for the heroine Nagi in the original manga this year. The 27th compiled manga volume will ship in Japan on February 18, and there will be a limited edition that will bundle a 2011 school calendar. Viz Media will publish the 17th volume in North America in March. The manga already inspired two television anime series in Japan, and Bandai Entertainment announced at Anime Expo 2008 that it licensed the first anime series for North America. Crunchyroll simulcasted the second anime series in several countries as it aired Japan in 2009. Source:ANN
  6. The website of the Japanese toy retailer Takarajima Create Group has posted a solicitation sheet that revealed that an anime adaptation of Rino Mizuho's Happy Kappy shōjo manga has been green-lit. The story revolves around Suguri Kinoshita, a nine-year-old third-grade girl who loves animals and making fashion accessories. One day, while Suguri is out buying materials for accessories, she comes across an unusual rock. Thinking it would look cute on a bracelet, she goes to pick up the rock and discovers a creature named Kappy. Kappy happens to be the three-year-old prince of Kapimeshia. The manga has been running in Shogakukan's Shōgaku Ichinensei and Pucchigumi magazines since 2007. (Pucchigumi runs the manga versions of Jewelpet Tinkle, Stitch!, and Lilpri, all of which have anime tie-ins.) Mizuho created The Magic of Chocolate horror manga, which is also getting an anime adaptation. According to the sheet from Takara Tomy Arts, five varieties of Happy Kappy mirror-and-comb sets will be sold in Japan in early April. Source:ANN

  10. Sorry but the ARSE thing is an in-house joke and if you weren't around when it started then you will have no idea what it means at all.
  11. No we don't, that killed NFS for many people. Kill it with fire!!
  12. It amazes me the idiocy of this argument that people try to bring up once or twice a year. Want the main answer? This is a privately owned and run community, you can say only what we allow and cannot say what we don't allow. Don't like it, join a community that allows you to say anything or create your own. Got it? 99.99999998% of people understand this and yet amazingly there's still that minute minority that don't. Not to mention it only usually rears it's head when people have been warned or infracted for something they have done.
  13. Novelist Shoji Gatoh revealed on his blog on New Year's Day that he is planning to write two new series and write a collection of Full Metal Panic! short stories. The Fujimi Shobo imprint will launch his new slapstick comedy, while Gatoh is still just starting his plans for another all-new series with mecha and weapons. In addition to the collection of Full Metal Panic! short stories, Gatoh indicated that "a little interesting project related to Full Metal is in the works." Gatoh's third volume of his ongoing Copcraft series will ship on January 18, even though he is still not quite finished with it. Last June, the North American publisher Tokyopop revealed its plans to publish the fourth and fifth novel volumes of Full Metal Panic! in 2011. Full Metal Panic! centers around a mercenary group called Mithril on a parallel Earth in which the Cold War did not end in 1991. The final main novels shipped in Japan last summer. Source:ANN
  14. I can't believe it's 2011 already.
  15. :clean: Stop thinking mellors, you know fluid flows out your ears when you do that. :D
  16. Use the thread above thanks.
  17. Hey all, can you believe it! It's the year 2011 already, we're into the future people well and truly and yet nothing feels special and futuristic. Where's the flying cars, the flying fridges, the flying hoverboards and everything we were promised? Kind of disappointing to be honest but then again I guess they have another 4 years to go before 2015 and Back to the Future II's promises become merely myths and no shows. Anyway yeah TDUCk is 4 years old in February and TDU2 is coming this year (as of now) so the thing we have been waiting agggeeeeeeeeeeeeees for is finally on it's way and for a lot of us will be well worth the wait providing the core dynamic is good of course :p. So I wish you all a very happy, prosperous and extremely fun filled 2011 and let's reach for the skies people!! :D :bunny:

  19. So because something can be said on TV after a certain time you feel you should be able to say what you like? What kind of logic is that.
  20. Well you can't sign up and use recently released models years ago can you? Think about it you secure the rights for Audi and it's 2008 and before lineup. That does not entitle you to use their 2009/2010/2011 models also so you go back to negotiating for their use. A lot of dealings are done only with months to spare and even then something might flag up and need to be remedied quickly to make the release or even have to be removed completely or put in later.
