Ferrari aren't cheap, they are usually the most expensive to acquire due to their history and following. Lamborghini are in many ways equal to them however Ferrari will always probably come out with a slight lead in any 'ask 100 people which they prefer poll' and thus they are always the ones preferred. If Lamborghini wanted the same as what Ferrari got then perhaps that is asking a bit over their head but if it was under then I still think they [Atari] have made a gross error in not getting them and you may find the Lambo contingent jumping over to NFS HP or a sharp rise in sales of MCLA. :lol: Remember this is just hearsay, nothing official.

I heard that Lamborghini wanted the same sort of money as Ferrari and basically Atari said no. Bit stupid considering Ferrari and/or Lamborghini can actually sell a game on their own. Maybe they don't feel it's worth risking and will wait and see how sales of the game go itself and if good will then pay up and put them in. Which is stupid as tbh the risk of putting them in far outweighs the risk of keeping them out imo.

The official website of Kodansha's Morning and Morning 2 magazine announced on Tuesday at midnight that a television anime adaptation of TAGRO's Hen Zemi (Abnormal Physiology Seminar) manga has been green-lit. More information will be announced in the 42nd issue of Morning 2 magazine on January 22, 2011. In the comedy story, Nanako Matsutaka has been assigned to the Abnormal Physiology Seminar, even though she herself is a rather ordinary person with no abnormalities in particular. On the other hand, her classmates, including the college upperclassman Komugi Musashi, have just about every abnormal condition to speak of. The manga has been running in Morning 2 since 2006, and it is actually a remake of part of TAGRO's earlier Hentai Seiri Seminar title, for which "Hen Zemi" is a Japanese abbreviation. The manga already inspired an original anime DVD that shipped with the fourth manga volume this past July, and a second anime DVD will ship with the fifth manga volume next March. Source:ANN

"C-46 Seiun" (C-46 Nebula), a manga story by Kenshi Hirokane (Human Crossing, Division Chief Kosaku Shima) and Ryo Aska (formerly of the musical duo Chage and Aska), will be adapted into a live-action television project in the spring of 2011. The "C-46 Seiun" manga is based on a Chage and Aska song called "C-46." The story centers around a salaryman who once sang in a popular band. The salaryman has a reunion with an old lover on the occasion of a band member's passing. Chage and Aska first recorded the "C-46" song as a single in 2001. Aska has since put a new version of the song on his solo album "Kimi no Shiranai Kimi no Uta," which shipped on November 3. The song then inspired Hirokane to create a special "C-46 Seiun" manga spinoff to his ongoing Like Shooting Stars in the Twilight (Tasogare Ryūsei-gun) series. Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine started the serialization of "C-46 Seiun" in its November 20 issue, which actually shipped on November 5. Like Shooting Stars in the Twilight already inspired a 1997 live-action television series and a 2002 film. Hirokane's Hello Hari-nezumi manga inspired the 1992 anime video Domain of Murder, and his Human Crossing manga spawned a 2003 television anime series. Source:ANN

Microsoft released Kinect last month as an add-on to its Xbox 360 console to support 3D motion-sensing in games. However, independent programmers soon developed driver software to allow personal computers to connect to the Kinect sensor through the USB port. Crypton Future Media originally created the virtual idol Hatsune Miku to launch its line of Vocaloid vocal song synthesis software. In Sunday's new video, Higuchi demonstrated full-body motion capture to control Miku's dancing. In addition, Higuchi now offers the driver for the Kinect support in his free MikuMikuDance program. MikuMikuDance not only creates dancing videos of Miku, but also of other characters with 3D modeling data. That's not right, I mean come on; an F430 Scuderia and the F430 Scuderia Spider 16M are 2 different cars. You can't label them 1 model just because they share the same sort of design. The Veyron's apart from the 16.4, Grand Sport and Super Sport are 3 definite different model types even if they do share similarities with each other. Pick definite examples sure like the 599GTB and the China Edition but don't try and blur others that definitely are of their own.

To circuit based racers yes not to freeroam, street racing titles especially with civilian traffic that can be hit. Perhaps the Ferrari license only goes so far or you have to pick and mix, who knows but yeah seeing the F355 in a game would be sweet as it's such a beautiful car.

If they don't have them in real life they don't have them in the game iirc. I'll pose the question if I get the chance or a certain meerkat shows himself.

GT doesn't have 1000 cars though, it has 231(+/-) I think that are actual GT5 cars. Going to add a poll see what people think of this.

I would think they would be hating what they would be reading if so. And not just here, all over, the community isn't exactly ecstatic with this list as it stands, neither are comments on the game sites and such. I imagine twitter messages aren't exactly flattering and complimentary either. I just can't fathom the decisions that are made sometimes, and of course I know it's business and the aim is to make money but how can you make money when the decisions being made are horribly received and are more than likely to lose sales than create them. Is there something in the business handbook that says to keep your business going have great ideas but make horrible decisions?

Wow today is just full of great news. Despite what I had to do today I figured hey at least the list may come and even though there are some great cars amongst it, I'm disappointed with it slightly. Of course the lack of Lamborghini should be a given being it's my ultimate favourite, but also in that (and I hope I'm wrong here) perhaps the suits at Atari are still the same suits that have been screwing Atari titles for a while now. They seem to think for some reason that possibly selling a million and then milking with DLC afterwards where say 10-20% will buy is better than packaging a superbly filled day 1 package which could sell 2,3million+ and then work on DLC afterwards showing dedicated support for the title and also a little bit of respect to the community and the playerbase. Will I still buy it? Yeah to support Eden mainly and note that I'm not blaming Atari as a whole for my opinion (and I may edit this when I'm in a cheerier mood) as those from Atari who have a presence that can be seen are brilliant and so are Eden but it's just a shame that even 5-6 years later we are still seeing the same things occurring and even though lessons have learned and god have they been learned, there is still that dense lacking of understanding from those who actually make the main decisions in the end.
