  1. The problem is that you are playing a cracked version of the game and the update notice which leads to http://none is basically the game showing that it knows this. No-CD hacks and cracked copies cannot be used online, there's no way around it, you either need a physical DVD-ROM or the Digital Download Version. Please note that we do not permit the discussion of Warez topics here so keep off that topic thanks.
  2. Yeah I have a 360, actually had one since the launch believe it or not! Myself and a work colleague chipped in for it and I ended up keeping it because we made a good amount on the one we put on ebay! Anyway I've ordered from Shopto mainly because I know their service is top quality and I will have the game at least on the day of release but normally 1-2 days before.
  3. Yeah, true but a mental badger?

  4. Hi there ntrucker, welcome to TDU Central. Good to have you onboard, now quickly get over here before my eggs fly away again. :hello:
  5. *Cue dramtic and tense music*
  6. You mental badger.

  7. You guys lucky enough to have gotten your cash out for this baby are going to be enjoying it soon enough and with this latest demo from Thomas from Fanatec, I'm sure you will be thrilled it's finally arriving. Great wheel set this is looking like I think you'll agree. :D
  8. When I jump on TDU and I get invited to a party I decline it because I don't like them much unless you are in a game with only those people. TDU is a real social game where you can easily talk and make new mates, sure you get the usual dips who shout and spoil it sometimes but they are usually few and far between. I'm feeling the need for some more TDU time and actually mentioned it not long ago, dunno if I'll jump on tonight but it won't be too long that's for sure. Is it dying? No as many are still on, is it slowly getting missed by the vets and those who have been playing since the start? Yeah but that's to be expected after more than 3 years now and with not a single iota being said about a sequel then people are getting annoyed and just not wanting to really bother. Only time will tell what's going to happen however if you intend on waiting don't as time will be flying by you so quickly you'll wonder where the hell it went!
  9. As many of you will have noticed the forum has been experiencing some extreme hanging and slowdown these last 24+ hours. The reason for this was quite a few things. First issue wasn't really an issue and was supposed to make stability and speed much better as our server was being migrated as well as many many more to a brand new more advanced datacentre. Now here lies the first issue, a key hardware component failed and even though Cisco were contacted and were on the case twice they gave out software that actually made the problem worse. Now the datacentre is basically stuck and had to remove the new and replace with the old while still working with Cisco to fix the new, after many hours and I bet many arguments and blame being thrown around they finally got the correct software working and now we are back. I apologise for any insanity and community happenings you may have missed during this time. Cheers all! Diablo :D :bparty:
  10. Of course there's drifting, the 9 year olds need something to do and the 15 year olds need their Initial-D nonsense. Drifting has killed the racing game.
  11. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=13877
  12. I secretly added it to the Big Thread as it's to do with the media in their but wanted to see who would notice it first. :) So well done.

  13. It's not amazing imo, it will be a good game but imho it's starting to lack more and more as a sim-racer. It's still overly smooth and the grip has improved somehow, it's quite strange sometimes how the car doesn't break out on you though there are realistic natural instances of this too. Graphics, well they are good but there's something very not right about them, I think it's because they look more like a cartoon in places. Cockpit view is alright, you don't really get the visceral impact of other games and this is where I feel that FM3 lacks; feedback to the driver/player. The only impacts you feel on the track are the parts where the track dips sharply, some corners in real life take a car round by itself due to the camber or the entry into the corner, there is one instance in this demo I could see this happening and yet it doesn't. Get a wheel on the grass in a high bhp RWD and it would usually result in a slight to total loss of control but in FM3 the grass and dirt is like tarmac itself. The main thing I find annoying though is the somewhat over abundance of grip and the easy nature in which you can drive the Racing Porsche. Like I said it's a good game, how it will fair in the aspects that used to matter is a different thing altogether.
  14. Q: What do a tractor, a windfarm and a national wildlife refuge sign have in common? A: Erm... they appear to probably be assets for TDU2/TD Next believe it or not. :D
  15. Hmm good question, I don't know if it's my favourite as there is still things wrong with it but it's definitely in my top 3 of all time.

  16. Yep I'm the same, not because it's an X5 but because it's a BMW!! Hopefully Atari got BMW on board for TDU 2/TD Next.
  17. I've just been informed by the artist that this is in fact not real and that he himself does not exist. Sorry for the mixup. :(
  18. Not too bothered about the tread pattern but fixing the wheel in motion animation is a detail they should fix for sure in my opinion.
  19. Well done mate, images are in the first post. :D
  20. I found these images of a BMW X5 sporting the legendary TDU 505 licence plate sort of hiding away on an artist's site where he had Test Drive Unlimited 2 listed as Confidential and no mention of the original game. Remember not to take too much from this and also this could simply be an old TDU model we don't know but one thing is for sure if Atari have managed to get BMW for the next game then plenty of people including myself will have smiles as big as anything right now! Enjoy! BMW X5 Concept Model/Renders 2009-09-23 ============================================= Again on my travels trawling for new info I found a rather exciting find showing a rendered vehicle (ingame model perhaps) that may possibly be in the next game. Now rather than just blurt it out I'll play a game with you, yes I know you hate me but hey this should be easy if you guys know your things with 4 wheels. If you guess it right I'll post the render(s) in full, if not though then I'll post them up on the 1st October anyway so you'll get to see them either way! Alright go! Congrats to SilviaS14a for getting it first!
  21. I'll check for you this week but it's usual Kyosho with the carpet and such, not sure on the seats themselves though, they are usually smooth plastic mind you. I'm going to be busy cutting all these names out. lol
  22. You didn't .................. no you didn't don't worry about it.
