At midnight on Thursday, Virgin opened it’s doors to over 100 people wanting to buy a PS3. What they didn’t know was that they would be going home in a paid for taxi and would be playing their new console on a free 46″ HDTV as a way of thanks from Sony. After waiting over 36 hours, the queue of over 100 people were slowly let in to discover that they would be receiving an extremely nice gift from Sony. A 46″ HDTV to play their new next generation console on and a free taxi home to ensure that they got home safely. The first customer in line, Ritatsu Thomas, told BBC News that it had been worth the wait and that I feel fantastic. I’m delighted that everyone here also gets a television. I think that this was an extremely nice gesture on the part of Sony, and that those people who purchased their PS3 there are extremely lucky to have received such a wonderful free gift. As well as the TV, the free taxi was also a nice gift considering those 100 people had stood in line for over a day and a half and that it would have been the early hours of the morning before the last person got their PS3. You can copy the link from the address bar and then do manage attachments and upload via url but you need to be quick or it will upload the next one as remember it updates every min or 2. lol

As posted at youtube also: Very nice video mate, I like the flow of the music also, good choice and editing also. That CCR looks good in the Purple and you hit some crazy speed at some points ! youtube will always downgrade the quality, in order to stop it affecting your video as much as possible make sure you save at 320x240 resolution and remember you have 100Mb to play with so even though it might take a while, the bigger the filesize the better the quality plus if you leave at 320x240 youtube will not alter the quality as much as it would when it has to resize.

Do you also need Media Centre for Orb or does that work with almost anything?

Nope no handbrake only brake and feinting ie; switching the weight from one side to the other. I only ever use the handbrake if the car is sliding to wide but usually I have no use for it at all. I don't like drifting by using the handbrake it just seems too easy.

Correct, the visitors shows how many people and there's been almost 12,000 (lol just done the 12,302nd) and each visit usually is close to 100 hits and they stay for more than 90secs also which is very good as most people will leave within 10secs if they don't like what they see. We're averaging 300-400 people a day with a good 60-100 being unique (never visited before). These stats are excellent for a board that's not even 2 months old so we are as I said excited to see there is a community for this game and an active one at that.

Unfortunately those videos are gone :( They were hosted on yousendit and the like, I don't think there's any record of them anymore. It's a shame cause the last drifting one I did was sweet ! If you're on Forzacentral, search for livedrift or just search for threads in the Drift Videos section made by me. I can't wait for Forza 2 and wish TDU gave a chincam and also replays, hopefully for TDU2 !! Pherelas I just checked the server bud, it's running good and the link is fine at my end. I'll keep tabs on it though.

What to do a drifting vid? lol There's a fair few TDU drifting vids about mate plus I used to do this for Forza also which was a lot of fun and everyone on Live! knew when I was in my dark red Porsche 962 with a Honda badge (known as the Pornda 962C, C for camera) I was filming them for Livedrift. Good day good days.

Beautiful bike but ugly at the same time, fast as hell but good at low speed, it's the Jekyll and Hyde of the motorcycles. lol You need to be mad to ride one of those things fast.

The HDD is recommended if you want to download the new cars and such as a 64MB Memory Unit will allow you one or 2 Car Packs plus your Photo's and Save Game. Definitely recommend the HDD mate but maybe not right now as they're supposedly bringing out a larger 120GB HDD soon. If you can get one for about £40 grab it though ! And that's some price you got your 360 for. Niiiiicee.

First thing to note is if you jump out of the session by entering a race, shop, instant challenge or jumping to the map you will lose your friend as you have exited that session. The best way to do this is tell your mate to stay still and park up, now select the map, select the players filter or friends list one or the 2 as I'm not sure how it works on PC and highlight him with your mouse so it shows his name and car. Now if it doesn't have 'N/A' you can join him, if it does just wait till it disappears. Now with him selected click on him and the game will try and load you into his session, it's usually successful but if not it takes about 2 or 3 attempts. Once you are together choose the left menu and select his name and choose 'Lock'. This means no matter how far away you go on the map you will not lose each other, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE LEAVING THE SESSION as mentioned above. So if you and your mates wish to drive from point A to a designated point B mark it on the map with your GPS first then jump to him. Hope that helps and enjoy.

Cheers Neil, I don't do as much drifting as some people and as you saw I left the full close to 2 laps as they were including spins and all, though some of them came about from trying to get a good angle from outside the car for the video lol. I really like it when the guitars kick in and that whole half lap drift comes into play, the music just seemed to well placed to not use it. Appreciate the feedback mate, thanks.

We did it !! I had a feeling we would do it this month but I never guessed it would be almost a week early, yes the forum hits reached 1,000,000 in the early hours this morning and is still continuing to climb. Combined with the rest of the site the total hits is about 1.4million. This is really exciting for us here at TDU Central as it means our name is getting out there and people are seeing us so lets hope we can continue on it and improve on it also. Hey there me again and I have a storming video for you this time, personally I think this is one of my best and I hope you enjoy it. I did originally have it all edited with only the best parts showing and slow motion all over the place but it just seemed so false, then I heard the song and thought 'hmm how would it be with just the full thing uncut' and well it just seemed to work perfectly imo !! Wow according to the stats tomorrow is the day we will hit 1,000,000 hits at the forum as it's currently at 985,000 and the board is averaging 40,000 hits a day !!! I will be sure to post up the graphic detailing this and also that's the forum alone !! The main site, photo's, audio etc have about a cool 200,000 between them also. I need to check bandwidth costs at my host because this is without videos !! lol

Nothing is for certain, the PC does still have the Downloads tab when in your house so it's a possibility that new cars will come to PC but nothing has been officially confirmed or denied yet !

Hi davz00r this is no place for your video this is for crap and your video is TDU PC related so over it goes into the aforementioned section. You know I like this vid so I don't need to say it again ...but I will, nice vid and again kudos on the Ducati and driving/riding with nothing on screen. :)
