Well that was certainly different to how I remember it, the update has made it impossible to do a roadblock as people just literally now drive through it plus the collision detection is strange in that when you try to pit, sideswipe or even just ram the runner, 90% of the time you go through them unless you're driving like a granny. Which is a shame cause TDU Pursuit/Cops & Robbers used to be great fun especially when everyone set having fun as the main priority. Ah well the old was certainly fun while it lasted.

Yeah I've started putting the TDU Central moniker into the videos and descriptions now, plenty of people view them so why not. Unfortunately my main one wasn't uploaded by me, the East Coast drive has had over 50,000 watches !! That is one video I would like to put the url on. lol

Before the update you could do a glitch in the Countdown map that would give you 600 points for about 40secs of work. The annoying thing was when you searched for a game all you would see is Countdown glitchers wanting to dress their doll up. Now all we have to do deal with is rubber banders, those players who put a rubber band round their controllers sticks and the host puts the game on auto-launch and because the bands move the player, they don't get the idle player penalty. Yes I know it's SAD.:stinks::pcpunch:

Had a few PM's about this, would you like to have a Club Chat sub-forum in the 360 and PC areas? A place where you can create a thread for your club to discuss races, an upcoming cruise or even request a race. Bare in mind though if this goes ahead; If there is any arguing or insulting of clubs and or it's members then that club who is instigating the trouble and it's members will be suspended or even banned from that section. Unlucky, did you get yours at launch and or was it made before January 1st 2006? Remember you have the extended warranty on it if so. (18months instead of 12 iirc)

I never spawncamp, I'm always the one poking my head round, watching the enemy run to me count to 5, detonate C4 and kill at least one person ...usually. The smart ones throw a grenade though and try and blow me up as well as the C4. I made legit (no boosting) Captain last night and got my Eagle and Spas12 !! Oh yeah.

In what way is it worse though? It is still online, it has a massive selection of cars and it's still TDU. The main difference is lack of some vehicles and graphics. I have seen many beta testers talk about how much fun TDU is for PS2 and they have the 360 version and have also beta tested the PC. The PS2 is more pick up and play and balls to the wall from what I understand. I know what you're saying but remember gameplay still trumps graphics. Example I'd rather play Rage Racer on PS1 than RR6 on Xbox 360 as Rage Racer is just great fun compared to RR6 imo.

For what the game does and how it runs on the PS2 is actually amazing, there is no other game that has to load as many things as TDU and with the PS2's lacklustre amount of RAM it's actually very impressive what they have gotten out of it plus the PS2 is a huge market !! Anyone notice the lights when on seem to have a source and show on the road, sounds aren't too bad either.

Yeah I saw this posted also but baker has been wrong before but if this Atari's way of saying "uhh ...it's delayed again" then people are seriously going to start going agaisnt them. Unless this is confirmation that update #3 has been sent to Microsoft for certification this week after it was sent back due to a bug in it. If anything Atari or Eden should be saying "want to sell more of your wheels, make this update a priority on the Marketplace".

Quick question, if the points are bought in Europe I notice it says only applicable to EU accounts so does this mean that if someone outside Europe wins it, can they still get the points by creating a Silver Live! account for Europe or is this non-permissable? No worries mate and cheers for the comment on the board. Also you're allowed to play other games, though you must run into a wall each time you do to say sorry to the TDU gods, naturally. ;) In fact you can find me regularly on Rainbow Six Vegas after a jaunt on TDU usually... sore after running into the wall of course.

Yeah a 100k profit on that car can be generous but look out for any lower than yours and snap them up, always make sure yours are the cheapest !
