Story ★★★★★ The story involves reenact human history, yes the same stuff as on our textbook therefore we know how it happens and ends, but the ways they are done by the Anime is very imaginative and surprising For example, the fight scenes of main battle in the second season - reenactment of the Invincible Fleet Naval War: Musashi as mercenary of England VS Blessing fleet of Tres Espana P.S pretty funny for Toori (main char) running around naked most of the time (even in International Meeting with national leaders)

So I only went one day, altho I don't have time to go 3 days / 4 days with special offer (even tho many of my friends bought the 3 days' pass)
now, about the comic con, well, the first impression is... massive people !!
a lot of people think of Japanese manga/anime when they hear comic con, some places call it anime festival
in this place is a mix of Japanese and American stuff (I would say the Japanese stuff being the majority), and the pictures I took are all (mostly) Japs
anyhow, let the pictures do the talking
in the end I also took some pictures of new york city night views and the things I bought
tickets (plus two others we met later in the theater
About the film: Basically the plot is same as the TV version In the beginning of the movie, there was a special interview of the America version movie from the 6 main CVs. And they mentioned there will be some scenes to be shown that were not included in the anime series because of all kinds of restrictions, at first I was moved by this announcement cause i already know the story, but in the end it turned out to be very few, and none of them are stoical scenes.
Still, even for me who watched the anime series already and again on the BD release, the film was stunning and fabulous
Huge applauds between the cut scenes and the end. Even when the movie ended, and staff screen popped out, all the audiences still remained at seat until completely finished. I have been to many movies in cinema before, and this is my first time encounter something like this.
Gossip: the whole film was around 4 and half hours long, in Japanese voice and English subtitle BTW I didn't look at the subtitle for once from the start till the end 0-0
Gossip x2: we originally thought there would be free goods that come with the ticket (a printed sign board and poster), and others goods for sale, but they didn't have that in new york! later we learned that was los angeles exclusive (damn!)
We went there right after class ended, so we had plenty of time, went riding the Ferris transportation to kill time

Now, I'd like to quote from a friend that went with me that night, she wrote
(As I rethink now, the thing that moves me the most, is not the plot (bcuz it was TV remake), but the shock of being in the cinema, audiences' applauds in the end, and the friend that went together, eat together, despair together, and share the plot together... even thought very despairing (I'm not quite agree with this), but it was a very precious memory OwO)

The first half of the movie is basically review of what happened in the Anime series from the new character Hiyori(風音)'s view to show how she fell in love with Tomoki (智樹)
A lot of ERO funny scenes like usual
And the ending is very heart touching, when Hiyori turned into an angeloid(angel robot) after a tragedy right before she was about to hear back from Tomoki from her love confession earlier
In the end she sacrificed herself to protect Tomoki
The scene I like the most is in the last few minutes of the film, Tomoki went back to the place where he and Hiyori first met. A ray of right shined behind him along with leathers, at last came the sound of bell Hiyori always wears, leaving the audiences a huge imagination space
BTW, I also like the name of Hiyori (sound of wind) which matches the sound of bells she always has on her hair
