  1. Bamboo Blade story creator Masahiro Totsuka and Samurai Harem: Asu no Yoichi manga creator Yuu Minamoto confirmed in a shared April 7 blog entry that they are launching a new series called Haru Polish in the June issue of Akita Shoten's Monthly Shonen Champion magazine on May 6. Similar to Bamboo Blade, the new series will be a "hyper comedy of bishōjo x Japanese swords!!" The story will center around a high school girl named Haru Okamoto. However, whereas Bamboo Blade depicted the tournament sport of kendō with bamboo swords, Haru Polish will deal with the practice of iai (the drawing and wielding of actual swords). Totsuka explained that the two manga creators knew each other before and have been discussing plans for working together; both Bamboo Blade and Asu no Yoichi! had been adapted into anime by the same production company (AIC/AIC ASTA) a few years ago. Minamoto added she herself went to a high school where kendō and iai were mandatory subjects for boys and girls, respectively. Minamoto holds a belt in iai. Yen Press publishes the Bamboo Blade manga in North America, while Tokyopop publishes Samurai Harem: Asu no Yoichi. Funimation released the Bamboo Blade anime, and Sentai Filmworks and Section23 Films released the Asu no Yoichi! anime. [Via Yaraon!] Update: Totsuka's art collaborator on the Bamboo Blade manga, Aguri Igarashi, is herself launching a new manga with Saki creator Ritz Kobayashi in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine. 2. It's not, it's simply involving the community. Not everything has to be game related especially with those who are not involved first hand with the game.
  3. LOL makes a difference to it being TDU2's fault I guess.

  4. During the final minute of Monday, April 11, the Japanese production company Aniplex confirmed that a television anime adaptation of the Persona 4 role-playing game from Atlus is in the works. Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, My Bride is a Mermaid) is directing the project at AIC ASTA. Game franchise designers Kazuma Kaneko and Shigenori Soejima are credited with the Persona concept designs and original character designs, respectively. Similarly, the game's Shoji Meguro is composing the music. The cast, also retained from the original game, includes Daisuke Namikawa (Yu Narukami), Showtaro Morikubo (Yōsuke Hanamura), Yui Horie (Chie Satonaka), and Ami Koshimizu (Yukiko Amagi). The Persona 4 game shipped for the Sony PlayStation 2 console in 2008. Its predecessor, Persona 3, shipped for the same system in 2006 and inspired the Persona -trinity soul- television anime series in 2008. A late-night television commercial ran in Japan early Sunday morning and revealed that the www.mayonaka-tv.jp website that would carry the announcement. The personal computer version of the site already indicated that Aniplex, Index Corporation, and the "P4A Committee" were involved, while the Japanese mobile phone version of the site briefly listed "Persona 4 Animation" Sunday morning. 5. The official website of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime series announced on Sunday that the anime will resume with its 11th and 12th episodes — the final scheduled episodes — on April 21. The anime's final two television episodes had been pre-empted out of "self-restraint" in the aftermath of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster, and then delayed temporarily. The MBS television station in the Kansai area will run the 11th and 12th episodes back-to-back on Thursday, April 21 at 26:40 (effectively Friday, April 22 at 2:40 a.m.) The TBS television station in Tokyo's Kanto area will run the 10th, 11th, and 12th episodes on Thursday, April 21 at 27:00 (Friday, April 22 at 3:00 a.m.) TBS had preempted its airing of the 10th episode due to its news coverage of the earthquake. CBC in central Japan will also air the last three episodes on Sunday, April 24 at 26:45 (Monday, April 25 at 2:45 a.m.). After the announcement of the delay, the official Twitter account for the anime had posted that the staff was still aiming to get through the final episodes in April. Early Sunday morning, the anime's series script supervisor Gen Urobuchi reported on his Twitter account that good news would be coming at about 7:00 p.m. Japan Time (6:00 a.m. EDT). Source:ANN

  8. I've heard a few people talk about that Jag and saying it's good. :hmmm:
  9. Hey I'm a kind soul, I just won another $1.2m after letting the other person win because they didn't have the car. It was funny too, there was 2 guys who kept doing the all in thing and they didn't show their cards at the end so I got the gist they were bluffing. So next time I had something good I chased them and of course when something on the flop showed promise one who always goes all in went and I knew he couldn't have the best hand as I had it so knocked him out and made 8m in chips due to it. Complimentary "Boo" thrown my way also. So now this other guy was in the top 3 but I wanted the non all in'er to beat him so next round raised him on his all in and I had a King and an Ace and 2 other Aces popped out. Lovely. So what am I trying to say? Basically if you get into Level 4 with me I will help you out. :D
  10. I've still to buy the normal one actually now I think about it.
  11. I'm not sure whether to buy the Ibiza yacht also now. I kinda wish you could buy more than 1 exclusive as I'd like to keep certain cars in certain houses. :D Of course a Garage Manager would solve that issue dead! Also does anyone recommend the Caterham? I saw only 1 person with it and it looked they were having fun with it. :)

  13. Just tried out the Super Sport and with these settings it was like all the other Veyrons I might add, very nice indeed. I'd still like a handling update (;)) but as for now this works just fine.
  14. Over 60 anime, manga, game, and voice-acting companies are banding together to hold a "Smile Heart" charity event in Tokyo on Sunday to raise funds for the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster. 15. No doubt TDU2 modding will happen at some point but like I've said for a period of time we won't accommodate it here. This will in no way stop modding or people attempting it just because we say no at the moment as there will be other places that will popup who will allow it. The reason we will wait a length of time before allowing it to be posted on here is because we support the game, and will support it as long as Eden and Atari support it.
  16. Ah those 2 wheeled cars are awesome!
  17. Can't be any worse than the 2nd. :cheeky:
  18. If you don't buy the mega buck expensive houses you can get a lot of cars though. Plus buy from the Used Car Dealer if the colour and interior works for you, saving more money again. I agree though something has to be done about making money, not another 180mph race but maybe if you reach Level 60 you get a Prestige/Premium FRIM with a top payout of 50k. Allowing Championships/Cups to be redone for a 10% entry fee and stuff like that.
  19. I found a stretch of road that is great for making FRIM money in a Pagani Zonda F or another similar speed of car. I plan on getting a video up but it's very easy to make $100,000 in FRIM in anywhere from 5-10 mins if you can drive through the middle of 2 lane traffic comfortably. :) It's less monotonous than the whole 20k race grind I imagine also.
  20. My poker playing (won another $3.2m yesterday) has got me about $20m+ so I'm well ready for adding the Super Sport to my Yacht. Tim do you have the Casino? If so next time I catch you on I'll play some poker with you. ;)
  21. The official website of the Blood-C vampire anime project announced on Saturday that the anime will be made as both a television series this July and a theatrical film next year. As previously revealed, the manga creator team CLAMP is developing the story and original character designs, and Production I.G is handling the animation. Tsutomu Mizushima (XXXHOLiC) is directing the project with creative supervision by Blood: The Last Vampire planning assistant and Blood+ director Jun'ichi Fujisaku. CLAMP's Nanase Ohkawa is supervising the scripts and co-writing them with Fujisaku. Kazuchika Kise is adapting CLAMP's character designs for animation, and Naoki Sato is composing the music. In addition, Ranmaru Kotone (Diasta of Ultima Thule, Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo -Tokikake-) will adapt the project into a manga, which will launch in the July issue of Shōnen Ace on May 26. The Blood franchise began with Hiroyuki Kitakubo and Production I.G's Blood: The Last Vampire film, in which Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers) and Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East) created the story and screenplay. The film inspired Jun'ichi Fujisaku's Blood+ television series, Chris Nahon's live-action film remake, and several manga spinoffs. Image © 2011 Production I.G, CLAMP/Project Blood-C TV Source:ANN
  22. The May issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Saturday that manga creator Jin Kobayashi (School Rumble, Natsu no Arashi!) is launching a new series called Ichiro Heian! (Have a Safe Trip!) in the next issue on May 9. According to the advertising, the story will have "black-haired girl x bicycle = long distance romantic comedy!" Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine had indicated in February of 2010 that Kobayashi was planning a new series in that magazine. Kobayashi ended his Natsu no Arashi! science-fiction romance manga in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker magazine last September. He ended the School Rumble Z spinoff manga Kodansha's Magazine Special in May of 2009, after finishing the original School Rumble manga in August of 2008. Source:MN
  23. The Japanese publisher Kodansha announced on Friday that a third original anime DVD has been green-lit for Suzuhito Yasuda's Yozakura Quartet manga. The new DVD will ship with the limited edition of the 11th manga volume on September 9. It will include the third Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~ episode and "bonus footage." Director Ryoochimo Sawa, Tatsunoko Production/Purple Cow Studio Japan, the musical artists Unison Square Garden and Suemitsu & the Suemith, and most of the voice cast from the first two anime DVDs are returning for the third DVD. As they did for the second DVD, Manabu Ishikawa (Mononoke, Kūchū Buranko, Love Hina) is writing the script, and Kiyotaka Suzuki (Kūchū Buranko) is storyboarding. The second Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~ episode is shipping on a DVD with the 10th manga volume on Friday. Section23 Films shipped the complete DVD collection for the Yozakura Quartet television anime series in North America last year, and Del Rey Manga shipped the fifth manga volume in 2009. Source:ANN
  24. Yumi Unita, the creator of the Bunny Drop (Usagi Drop) manga, revealed on Friday that she will launch a Bunny Drop spinoff manga in the July issue of Shodensha's Feel Young women's magazine in June. The main Bunny Drop manga just ended in Feel Young on Friday. In the beginning of the main Bunny Drop manga, 30-year-old bachelor Daikichi comes home from his grandfather's funeral to discover a little girl named Rin in his garden. Rin is the 6-year-old illegitimate daughter of Daikichi's grandfather, and Daikichi decides to take her in when no one in the family accepts the responsibility. The Bunny Drop manga began in 2006, and the eighth compiled book volume shipped last October. Yen Press published the third manga volume in North America last month, and the title was nominated for this year's Eisner Awards. Production I.G is producing a television anime version of the manga for Fuji TV's late-night timeslot Noitamina in July. A live-action film version will then open in Japan on August 20 with director Sabu, lead actor Ken'ichi Matsuyama (Death Note, Detroit Metal City, Gantz), and lead actress Mana Ashida. Source:ANN
