  1. Eden and Cryptic testing isn't doing it right? They got and get a lot of info from the way TDU runs on Live today so any improvements they can do at their end can easily be tested.
  2. Not quite, if you're in the Beta you see what changes have been made for this latest version. It will more than likely mainly be a server test but it's also responding to feedback.
  3. The club has a garage, club buys cars, cars go into club garage, members can drive said cars. Maybe the amount of garage space will increase as you improve your club but for example back in June the FXX and Apollo were both under covers in the club garage.
  4. The clubs buy the cars and the members can use them. I thought this was known?
  5. That's easy. Now 50,000km that's better. :D
  6. You always were don't try and hint otherwise. :p It's all the posing posting in Show Yourself that's made you this way. :cheeky:
  7. No need to get THAT excited.
  8. From IGN we have what is hopefully the first of many previews and showings of ingame footage that will be adorning the web in the coming weeks. In this preview we can see a few of the multiplayer challenges including what looks to be a fun mode involving speed cameras. Yeah who knew speed cameras could be fun eh? :D Anyway check the video preview below.
  9. Merely posting a question on the tdu2.com forums in the Pre-order FAQ thread or on General Discussion would suffice.
  10. Note some of these may be akin to spoilers so if you don't want to know what to expect look away now. The rest of you click and see what sort of stuff you will be doing come February and beyond! :D Test Drive Unlimited 2 Achievements List (Includes Casino also)
  11. I believe Atari is checking up on the whole RS5 thing with Asda, and you may wish to ask directly the deal with PC bonuses or I can try and forward it on to Destra later for you.
  12. Yes the version we played was the Xbox 360 version and the interior details like suede, leather and the stitching really is improved. I'm just hoping they have done the dash and dial details both analogue and digital otherwise that will be a bit of a downer. :(
  13. The game looks damn good to be honest, the co-op driving with Baldy in the GT-R showed me the visuals of the game quite well and even though they won't have the GT5 crowd going "wow look at that" they serve their purpose and don't detract from the game imo. Then again I'm a gameplay > graphics kinda guy so you may be different.
  14. A lot of people merely wanted TDU with night and day and new cars for TDU2 so the way I see it, as long as the handling and sounds are pretty decent and the latter especially vastly improved I will like the game until TDU3 comes. :D
  15. Yeah I checked this out and alerted it to Atari's attention last night as well as the price difference at the moment. I'll keep you informed.
  16. Make sure you are selecting your country via the top right otherwise you will get the non-allowed in your country notice.
  17. I believe the 2CV is affectionately known as the "the duck" in some places.
  18. James Bond boat stunt gone wrong more like. :cheeky:
  19. That list was to show who from TDU is working on TDU2, it doesn't show those who only worked on TDU2.
  20. Huh? A lot of work for games these days is done via outsourcing and where did you hear only 14 people worked on TDU2?
  21. The game hasn't been announced as having gone Gold yet so the final release version can't be out there, a release candidate perhaps but not the final.
  22. Takashi Kumagai, Shogakukan's editor in charge of the Hayate the Combat Butler manga, revealed in an interview with the Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site that the next step after the Hayate film is already being planned. Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine had announced last month that first-time director Hideto Komori is helming the theatrical film. The original manga — and the anime based on it — follow a boy named Hayate who serves as a butler, bodyguard, confidante, and more to a girl named Nagi to pay off a 156,804,000-yen (about US$1.8-million) debt. Kumagai also mentioned the separate live-action television series that the Taiwanese production and broadcasting company Gala TV will premiere this spring. This live-action series is part of the overall "2011 Hayate the Combat Butler Project" along with the anime film, although Kumagai noted that the live-action cast is depicted as adults (unlike in the original manga). He also indicated that big changes are in store for the heroine Nagi in the original manga this year. The 27th compiled manga volume will ship in Japan on February 18, and there will be a limited edition that will bundle a 2011 school calendar. Viz Media will publish the 17th volume in North America in March. The manga already inspired two television anime series in Japan, and Bandai Entertainment announced at Anime Expo 2008 that it licensed the first anime series for North America. Crunchyroll simulcasted the second anime series in several countries as it aired Japan in 2009. Source:ANN
  23. The website of the Japanese toy retailer Takarajima Create Group has posted a solicitation sheet that revealed that an anime adaptation of Rino Mizuho's Happy Kappy shōjo manga has been green-lit. The story revolves around Suguri Kinoshita, a nine-year-old third-grade girl who loves animals and making fashion accessories. One day, while Suguri is out buying materials for accessories, she comes across an unusual rock. Thinking it would look cute on a bracelet, she goes to pick up the rock and discovers a creature named Kappy. Kappy happens to be the three-year-old prince of Kapimeshia. The manga has been running in Shogakukan's Shōgaku Ichinensei and Pucchigumi magazines since 2007. (Pucchigumi runs the manga versions of Jewelpet Tinkle, Stitch!, and Lilpri, all of which have anime tie-ins.) Mizuho created The Magic of Chocolate horror manga, which is also getting an anime adaptation. According to the sheet from Takara Tomy Arts, five varieties of Happy Kappy mirror-and-comb sets will be sold in Japan in early April. Source:ANN
