  1. The general affairs committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly has approved the government's revised bill to amend the Youth Healthy Development Ordinance on Monday afternoon. Bill 156 will then go before the full assembly for a vote on Wednesday. The current ordinance already prevents the sale and renting of "harmful publications" — materials that are "sexually stimulating, encourages cruelty, and/or may compel suicide or criminal behavior" to people under the age of 18. Bill 156 would require the industry to also regulate "manga, anime, and other images (except for real-life photography)" that "unjustifiably glorify or exaggerate" certain sexual or pseudo sexual acts. Another section of the revised bill would allow the government to directly regulate the above images if the depicted acts are also "considered to be excessively disrupting of social order" such as rape. Update: The bill has a non-binding supplemental resolution urging newly designated harmful publications to be “carefully regulated, with the work's merits based on artistic, social, educational, and satirical criticism criteria to be taken into account in the evaluation process.” The government's Tokyo Youth Healthy Development Evaluation Panel is also urged to respect “the intent of the revision and take necessary steps, such as increasing the time involved in the evaluation process.” Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan wrote in his blog on Monday: There is another topic I would like to talk about concerning [the strength of] the Japanese brand. Currently, there are concerns over the possibility that the Tokyo International Animation Fair could be cancelled due to controversies related to the healthy development of youth issues. Healthy development of youth is an important issue. At the same time, it is important that Japanese animation is broadcast to a global audience. I urge all parties involved to try to work toward preventing a situation where an international animation fair cannot be held within Tokyo. Shueisha senior managing director and editor Kazuhiko Torishima said at the New Manga Creators Awards ceremony on Monday: “I want new manga authors to produce manga that would blow away [Tokyo Governor] Shintaro Ishihara.” Masahiko Ibaraki, the editor-in-chief of Shueisha's third editorial department, added to the new manga creators, "Don't let the chilling effect [of increased regulation] stop you from doing material you want to do. Jump will feature anything [we feel] that is exciting [to read].“ Thanks to Dan Kanemitsu for the translations. Update 2: The Mobile Content Forum, an industry group that includes the social networking company DeNA and Nico Nico Douga's Dwango, announced its opposition to the bill on Monday. A group of female creators, including boys-love genre authors, also announced their opposition to the bill on Sunday. Source:ANN
  2. That's right, I'm you and you're me.
  3. Who are people going to believe? You who is Mellors, or me who is the Devil.
  4. Haha no quote, you lose. I already said "restart". :nnnn:
  5. Maybe this is the restart of the manufacturer trailers! Remember we got these with TDU also.
  6. Maybe they're doing it to spite me. :( :headbang2: :oook:
  7. Yeah I meant it as in duurrrrrrrrrr.
  8. Yeah it seems to stop and start still with some cars. However the previous trailer World of TDU2 showed decent blur for the most part. Oh yeah the profile width is quite mahoosssive on that TT-S don't you think?
  9. You should add that backfire thing to the Concerns & Notices Sponge.
  10. It wasn't EA who had it, it was Microsoft for Forza 3. BADNED confirmed this earlier in the year when the Spyder was shown and there was doubts about the coupe coming.
  11. Susprise! Well yeah anyway here we have another new trailer, short and sweet and full of Q7 goodness. :bunny: Get your eyes and ears round this and savour the German delights of Vorsprung durr Technik's finest. Click if video above doesn't show
  12. What the hell was that! I mean announcing a 2011 game and showing an old car, so is this them saying they're going with the FM3 approach again? Give us cars from the last 3 years+ and make us pay for the new ones via DLC. Or how about a Limited Edition with special bonuses ....I mean free cars that are already in the game but with pretty paintjobs. No how about holding back tracks so that they can also be sold as DLC or ignoring your community completely, and last but not least multiplayer so dull and abysmal that people would rather play the previous version than the new. Personally I may just wait till Autumn 2012 when I can get the game with everything for hardly anything to get my FM4 race time. Let's see how this one goes.
  13. [smg id=157 type=av] Lantis, Bandai Visual's music label, has posted the fourth 122-second promotional video for the Hana-Saku Iroha anime on its YouTube channel and on the anime's official website. The anime is the 10th anniversary work of the animation studio P.A. Works (true tears, CANAAN, Angel Beats!) The project features original character designs by Mel Kishida (So-Ra-No-Wo-To) and an image song, "Yumeji," sung by nano.RIPE. The story centers around Ohana Matsumae, a 16-year-old Tokyo native who ended up working at a onsen ryokan (hot spring inn). The new video is the first one with actual animated footage. The anime itself will premiere on television next spring. http://fractale-anime.com/special.html#content_movie The official website of the Fractale anime is streaming a 30-second preview video and a 15-second television ad. The story is set on an island at the far reaches of a continent where the "Fractale System" is on the brink of collapse. A boy named Clain embarks on a journey to search for Phyrne — a girl who disappeared, leaving behind only a pendant. Clain will eventually learn the secrets of the "System." Kannagi and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's Yutaka Yamamoto (a.k.a. "Yamakan") is directing the Fractale television anime series at his studio Ordet. Also involved are otaku scholar Hiroki Azuma (as story developer) and series script supervisor Mari Okada (Kuroshitsuji, Toradora!). Mandelbrot Engine created the original story. The illustrator Hidari (Uso-tsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan light novel) is creating the original character designs. The series will premiere in Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina timeslot in Japan on January 13, 2011. Source:ANN
  14. The Nikkan Sports newspaper reported on Saturday that Shoji Nishizaki, the adopted son of the late Space Battleship Yamato producer Yoshinobu Nishizaki, hinted that he has begun production on new Yamato works including a television series and another film. Shoji Nishizaki appeared with singer Isao Sasaki and about 400 people at a service for the late producer in Tokyo on Friday. Yoshinobu Nishizaki had passed away at the age of 75 due to a fall from a boat on November 7. Shoji Nishizaki is the president of Enagio, the anime studio that produced last December's Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection film (pictured at right). Yoshinobu Nishizaki directed the film — the first new one in the space opera franchise in 26 years — and oversaw its production. According to Nikkan Sports, Shoji Nishizaki also spoke about a director's cut of Space Battleship Yamato Resurrection. A live-action film adaptation of the franchise opened on December 1 and has earned over 1 billion yen (over US$12 million). 38-year-old SMAP band member Takuya Kimura (Howl's Moving Castle's Howl) headlines this film based on the anime classic, which was adapted as Star Blazers in English. 16. In the pics the Tricolore has the wrong wheels however in the pre-order trailer they have the right ones except for the rear wheels being wrong obviously. However it appears the Zonda F doesn't have this problem which is good. And oh yes, if you notice something post it up.
  17. 服务器在国外,但是他们人不在国外,除非一直用代理,IP一查就知道,不过即使用代理也是有办法查得出来
  18. Haha the first one with you stopped at the lights is quite good. I like those kind of real world examples.
  19. Yeah the RWD Gallardo is quite fun and putting the VB stripe on it just changes it for some reason and makes you drive like a madman, like the legend himself. Speaking of which, why on earth have Turn 10 not released the damn LP560/LP550. Always thought that was a huge omission for even the day 1 release.
  20. Either I think, should tell you on the website itself as I believe the Download version usually says so.
  21. Why do you think that? If it's the link from the tdu2.com website then note that page still shows a September 2010 release date also.
  22. The standard Atom is fast but not in top speed. Remember just how nippy and sharp it is though.
