  1. You are indeed correct that you more than likely aren't the only 1 who doesn't play offline, however I would best that a good 98% do. PC would be different due to all the pirates who are easy to see on youtube and whatnot but for the actual consumer buying the game, they would have an idea from all the media and interviews that the game is Multiplayer first and foremost and then Single Player is the means to accumulate your funds and collection, this was especially evident in TDU as think of the money you could only win online. $10,000 max instant challenge win and winning only the reward amount if you beat the Diner Challenge. Now with TDU2 they are wanting to blend in the Multi and Single Players though to me this equates more to being able to Challenges and such with your mates and thus gather the large amount of funds that you could only do in the Single Player in the previous game. Again I'm not trying to put down those who don't play online but they should go into the game knowing that it is best played and experienced online rather than simply playing it offline. :)
  2. Some people tend to forget that TDU/2 is built along the whole MOOR aspect; this being Massively Open Online Racer. See the key word in their Online. Anyone who has played TDU knows that TDU comes into it's own online and when you play online you meet up and make a ton of mates within this. Is the club thing a good idea, yes and no, is it unfair that some things are only given out online no as that is what the game is all about. TDU/2 is an MMO Racer/Driving/Social Game. It's in it's own league, nothing else comes close to what it provides as of this time. So like it or not TDU/2 is a Multiplayer game with Single Player elements rather than the typical Single Player game with the Multiplayer elements. Other titles that are like this are the Battlefield series, Single Player is crap but the online is the meat of the game experience. [+] To add, I guess it's unfortunate you have an Xbox as getting online is via Live Gold whereas PC and PS3 is free because it's clear you have an internet connection just by being online here. :)
  3. Don't start talking about DLC cars without knowing what the carlist will contain or the game even being out, there's no point.
  4. It does sometimes, you will never see it in effect though because they don't respond to the claimee.
  5. The month long break is over and it's back to business as usual, ITV4 now for 6 hours of quality racing, should be a good 'un!
  6. Yes, yesterday was just too hot to do anything to be honest. Much cooler today and will get the final section up during one of the support races on today BTCC raceday.
  7. Originally the list was mentioned to be 18 cars so not sure what's going on there, especially with Mercedes as the Stirling Moss and SLR were confirmed in a mag and BADNED has sort of confirmed another.
  8. No problem if you're buying any games from like Play, amazon, Shopto etc let me know as we are trying to prove affiliation status with them. Cheers!

  9. I'm doing it now, weather's been good today so been out in that a bit. Waiting for my Pizza to cook now though. :D So umm in an hour or so.
  10. Hey DK shopto has BFBC2 for £24.85 if you're still looking for it: [link] Adios!

  11. BTW I forgot to post this yesterday when I received the email but this is the list of confirmed cars thus far that are free reign to talk about. Aston Martin DBS Aston Martin One-77 Concept Audi Q7 V12 TDI Audi S3 :new: Dodge Charger SRT8 Dodge Viper SRT10 Ford GT Gumpert Apollo Sport Koenigsegg CCXR Edition Lancia Delta integrale evoluzione Lotus Esprit S3 :new: Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé Not sure on the years, will try and get those next week if possible. Plus Fabien mentioned something about his exclusive shot with the One-77 not coming till Thursday as Atari/Eden want to show that car off a bit more then, so possible new media or even a new trailer next week perhaps?
  12. Fair enough, shame would have been really good to put a face to the name. Perhaps some other time. :)
  13. Depends how old they are, most countries still have ones that would split your car in half.
  14. Added 2 pics of Fabien from tdu2.fr showing the Zonda Cinque. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?p=322150#post322150
  15. I'm using that to finish, so tomorrow after the Walkaround report is up you will see the TDUCk at Eden. It's surreal I'll tell you that.
  16. The arm in the first pic is no ordinary arm btw, it's David Nadal's. Oh yes! :oook:
  17. Like I said the controller setting wasn't really ideal for this sort of testing or ability to gauge as the car was essentially moving like in TDU when you play in normal mode with the highest steering sensitivity but with added weight and proper drivetrain characteristics. Again it's hard to give you an answer but what I will say is even with the setting being the way it was, knowing I will be able to tweak the sensitivity definitely makes me feel better though.
  18. Left hand side on the left. That's a very unkind picture that one. lol
