As for GAME don't be an ass to them as I remember if someone acted like that with myself or my colleagues then I would make them suffer more than they would try and make me. Tell them you were told by the assistant that it was "new for old" and that you were told that "there is no waiting with it" and the only reason you bought the warranty was because they offered this service. Also tell them that if this is true then you would again buy the warranty (if you were planning on it, don't say this if you're not) from them for your new console but if not then you'll just go through the normal channels and buy your stuff from elsewhere. Being an ass doesn't get you anywhere and the "customer is always right" is laughed at when you're in sales.

We're actually considering going ahead with the update tonight seeing as local testing has went fine. Sunday is Touring Cars and Racing for 5 hours so no chance of it being done then, unless I do it during the Formula Renault's. Hmmm.... Also cmm that value can easily be faked, remove the variable in the template and just hard type the value. ;)

PHP generated images can do bad as well as good thus image files must be exactly that so no generated images are allowed in avatars, signatures or inline posting.

Shoutboxes are notorious (no pun intended) for security problems and also can put a strain on servers, I have been looking for a good shoutbox that's good on resources and security and so far nothing thus far though the AJAX versions are getting better with every update!

Hey there guys, in order to make sure the upgrade goes without any problems we will be backing up the database at 15:00PM GMT+1 (20mins from now) and with this it sometimes results in the forum going down so just giving you guys a headsup before we do so. Downtime if any should be for only about 30-60mins and we'll be back as soon as possible. The forum doesn't specifically need an upgrade but what with the new features that the upgrade will add we think it will be beneficial to you guys mostly. Thanks! TDU Central Staff

The Cayenne is a really good 4x4 though, but it's not fun to drive, though if you're talking about would I take Dodge Viper/SRT-10 if I had the money? Then sorry the answer is no, it's not a drivers car, it's made for motorway driving and going in a straight line, no if I had the money I would buy a second hand F355 thank you very much. I know of 1 person whose dream was to own a Viper, after reaching the point where he could do this, he tested a Viper GTS (Blue w/ White stripes), it completely killed his vision about the car as in his own words he said "it was a huge disappointment, the fantasy was much better than the reality". It's the same for people who long for a Countach as it really is a horrible car to drive, the car is meant to be used for GT driving, not tracking or about town, it will literally make you a body builder in a short time because of just how much work you need to drive the thing, not too mention you need a mechanic following behind you for when it brakes down!

Also I've played with the vB cookie data and know I could do that but as I said I don't want to force people to sign up here just to download those files. I want them to access them from here rather than have them linked and leeched from everywhere else. :)

I know the faking of the headers, in fact I use it to test my scripts and such but for 70% this will work fine. If it became a problem I would use FTP, sessions and a database to control who can and cannot download but I doubt it would have to come to that.
