  1. umm in the first post there's a video featuring a real zonda f sound as you'd hear it from inside and I think it's very close thank you very much. ;) btw. this game has some serious technical limitations(soundwise) and good samples of rare cars are hard to come by. And lastly, random videos of car revving are useless for modding(if you're really interested).
  2. Ascari KZ1 is a good fit,it sits little lower(front wheel slightly clips the wheels arches),has good viewpoints, similar performance and as a pretty important bonus, doesn't have that annoying stuttering sound bug murcielago has(and goes up to 7500 like the murci)!:) http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/reventon-1.jpg Blasphemy is fun(and a victimless crime too;))!:D
  3. Anytime mate!:) It looks very good now,and the hud is nice addition also!:D What about lowering it a little and making wheels a bit bigger too,is it doable?
  4. errr,I know you just started working on engine sounds, but this is bad. It's really glitchy and the sound progression(from 0 to 8000rpm) is totally unrealistic, like going from 0-4000 and than repeating it for 4000-8000=bad. Anyhow,I wish you best in your future work, but when you start to create a new sound,I'd suggest you look if there is an existent sound for that car and then try to do better than that.;) Good luck!:) p.s. there is an R8 sound, look it up.It's not great(kinda has a synthetic drone to it),but it is assembled nicely.
  5. Just put the zonda on the farboud and cgt on the zonda(they have very similar performance and the models/views fit)and use my sounds and gauges for both, trust me!;)
  6. That looks really good and accurate Grin!:) So a beta now eh?eh?:D
  7. It's good to hear that!:) and btw. the last one is half-joke,so don't worry!;) p.s. I'm ok with r32 interior, since I always play from the bonnet view anyways!;):D Keep up the good work Frank! +from one croatian to one german, you managed to confuse me few times when you use word "pick"(choose) instead of "pic"(picture),so this is a little heads up friend!:o:lol:;)
  8. Ok,now you have the sound+new gauge and just gauge separately both through rapidshare in first post!
  9. Well it's on speedyshare, what's wrong with that? +it doesn't ask you to wait or limits the number of DLs like on rapidshare...
  10. "this" being the sound? yes,BUT the sound goes only up to 6000(has zonda config inside) and farboud goes to 7500 so the sound will stop "going higher" after you cross 6000 mark! That's why I have Zonda F(or any other zonda will work nicely) on the farboud(featuring my awesome zonda sound:D which correctly goes to 7500!). And now I've created a realistic gauge for CGT(on zonda) on which the needle travels(correct angles) like on the real car! Try it out! Link in the first post!
  11. You're welcome! I thought I explained it well,but...again,problem isn't in transferring the real gauge image over the zonda's or any other(I know my photoshop;)),but the fact that zondas needle comes only so far(and the sound too stops getting higher pitch at 6000rpm) so that's the reason I made the custom gauge to make it SEEM that it redlines like the real thing (8200),and if I just copyed the real image it would SEEM that it redlins somewhere in the 4000-45000 region which is not cool ok? ok. Hmmm ,but you just gave me an idea!:D
  12. No they "normally" don't(if they are not acting as primadonnas that is!),normal response would be,for example,I was thinking of doing these 7 versions1.2.3....but in the end decided to do just these 2 cuz I like em best and they are almost done already(or whatever)...and I'd say ok,but this kind of ignoring is pissing me off! There are modders who actually appreciate input of other fellow forum members and THAT makes them cool in my book btw! ...and even myself, from a sound modder's perspective(or we're not equal?),the last two mods that I did(zonda and carrera gt sounds)were actualy requests! But maybe that's just me...:oook:
  13. Good to see you're working on it,it 's coming along nicely, although yes, it certainly needs more work!;)
  14. From 7:thumbsup: to 2 :sulk:and maybe even just 1 now???:crying: nooooo I don't know on what that depends, but if you gonna make just two,let the other be the 400R:drool: pretty please! Others want it too,it's not just me!:D:D:D
  15. Now that's a cool car!:) 7 versions? wooot!:D I really really really really really hope one of them is the NISMO 400R ,which in my eyes is the most beautiful R33,I even prefer it to the awesome R34(looks kinda tall compared too)! Go Tool Go!:D If you, by some miracle haven't seen it yet, feast yours eyes on this!:D http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/nismo400Rfront.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/nismo400Rback.jpg
  16. I've noticed one interesting thing(sort of off topic;)),since I have a bunch of my sound mods that a lot of people have downloaded:D and hence watched the youtube previews of them,I've dug up a little youtube statistic regarding my vids and discovered that for example germans are more interested in american cars then theirs, while americans are in german cars and not theirs!:) Draw your own conclusions!;) ...and yes,I agree, more classic muscle cars is certainly a good thing!:D
  17. ha! finally I can say something like...yeah..the guy down the street owns one!:D;) Anyhoo,it's good for variety...but it goes over the bland A3 since scirroco gets r32's place!;)
  18. Firstly,I said in Carrera GT "STYLE",and that means it looks sort of like the real thing, but more importantly,it looks as though you shift gears at 8200rpm like you would in that car! I could've made it just by copying the real gauge onto the zonda's,but then it would look as though it redlines @ 4000rpm which would look stupid. Do you get it now? Yes it does. ...and to elaborate,in this video you can hear the sound from inside the car(with closed windows) and it doesn't really sound that exciting, but fastforward it @ 5:05-6:05 and there, you'll hear it as 99.99999%;) of people hear it sound, that familiar and original howling noise! I think the sound I've assembled isn't perfect, but it does very much sound like the real thing in that part of the video.:nanananana:
  19. Sweet ride man! Finnish it quickly!:)
  20. Hello again, here's my latest sound mod, this time it's for the awesome Carrera GT.:) Some samples were provided by a fellow forum member, some I conjured up:cheeky:, and after some pitch shifting, amplification, cutting and other mumbo jumbo, here it is for you to play with! Since I didn't want to mess up the samples by too much pitch shifting, they kinda had to go on the zonda sound(don't ask why:cool:) and the car itself fits nicely on the zonda(performance wise too),the only "problem" was that zonda had the gauge that goes up to 6000rpm,so I circumvented that by creating a custom gauge(bumper view is still the same cuz I couldn't be bothered since I did this by hand;))in Carrera GT style that ofcourse now redlines @ 8200rpm like it should!:D btw. for some unknown reason, when I changed the zonda_c gauge, nothing changed in the game, but when I changed zonda_rst it changed both zondas gauges:confused: ,go figure... For those who don't know, gauges are in "tdu"\Euro\Bnk\FrontEnd\HiRes\Gauges +back up the originals always;) File@ http://files.filefront.com/CarreraGTpackzip/;13533437;/fileinfo.html mirror http://www.speedyshare.com/966759293.html **** Sound+realistic gauge http://rapidshare.com/files/217423182/CarreraGT_realGauge.zip Some reckless speeding:nuts: After some more messing about,I managed to create much more realistic gauge for the car,so enjoy...:) http://www.speedyshare.com/708733327.html http://rapidshare.com/files/217420416/CarreraGTgauge.zip http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/carreraGTgauge.jpg
  21. First impressions:very nice looking model:thumbsup:,but there are some small:oook:,some annoying:-x and some hilarious bugs! Try to guess which are which!:cheeky: http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/1.jpghttp://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/4.jpghttp://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/2.jpghttp://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii67/markonious/3.jpg :monkeydance:
