  1. fistly: I don't have an account there and I don't like it very much, always asks you to wait or sometimes even doesn't allow you to download. That's the reason I went with filefront,no problems there at all. I don't know what's your problem? secondly: It's all packed in one zip file(sound/rims/gauges) like it says in the first post(read it)!
  2. Well,I've been tweaking the sound whole week and I've made a countless number of slightly different samples:eek:, so now I'll enjoy it a bit:p,but of course,if I manage to make it even closer(and you're right,it's very very close as it is,but I'm not a magician:cheeky:),you people are gonna be the first to know!;) No,it's simple. You overwrite the farboud and farboud_I with your zonda_c and zonda_c_I files(rename farboud files to something, copy zonda files somewhere, rename them to farboud, put them back in the folder) from the test drive unlimited(or how you named it)\Euro\Bnk\Vehicules folder...and then you rename your audio file of the farboud to for example farboud_audioOLD.bnk(so game doesn't recognize it)and just put my sound file in that folder. ...ok maybe I didn't make it sound simple, but it is!;):D Have fun with it! p.s. THX everybody for the comments!:)
  3. I'll try to keep this short(probably won't make it though:cheeky:). I've been working on this sound the better part of this week and it's finally done...and if I may say so...it's a keeper!:excited:;) I've even been sent an in-car recording of a ride in the Zonda F, by a fellow from this very forum, but from the opposite part of this planet in relation to me:D(BIG THX to him!), for motivational and comparison purposes! My previous two attempts were done with modified viper sounds+some, but this one is totally new with all new samples. Anyhoo, let's get down to business, firstly, not to get into too much detail, but I couldn't do the sound directly on the original zonda sound(for a few reasons, one of them being it only goes up to 6000rpm which is incorrect etc),so we have a small workaround for this problem. The only car in game which has practically the same performance and handling, right camera positions and revs to 7500rpm(like zonda F does) is a Farboud GTS,so you have to swap your Farboud for the Zonda(F,but you can also swap for c12s or the roadster if you feel like it:D). IMPORTANT: If you just put my sound on the original zonda, you won't hear the whole higher part((most exciting:drool:)6000-7500rpm)of the rpm range! Ok, now that we've cleared that up, I also have for you, an updated Zonda F gauges with correct redline starting @ 7000rpm and furthermore, since I know people will ask for them(featured on the car in the video),Zonda Cinque style rims I just made. How's that for a package??:cool: So without further ado, download away: http://files.filefront.com/Pagani+Zonda+F+Packsoundrszip/;13462781;/fileinfo.html mirror: http://www.speedyshare.com/687814407.html Some hot foto session shots:cheeky:,racing at the docks and last, but not least, the obligatory "zonda tunnel run"!:D:eek::D Enjoy! ...and comment too!:) p.s. I love the screaming downshifts and the soft sound of the bouncing limiter too, woot!:D For comparison sake,a video montage(top gear) with real zonda f incar recording!
  4. Well thanks a lot guys, I do what i can to make you...and me happy!:D;) p.s. I wish other game companies didn't encrypt their sound files,so I can...umm borrow some good ones:)...like from NFS(one of the best for sounds) or GRID or...or if there was a "public sound database" with quality sound loops for every thousand RPMs for every car:Dhehe, then it would be a piece of cake!;) p.s. I think there is a private sound database or a specific firm doing this, because some sounds in games are identical, and I don't mean similar, but identical...like in GTR2 and TDU,they are just a little bit differently mixed and gtr has stereo 16bit samples, unlike tdu mono 4bit:(...
  5. ummm:oook:...did you actually bother to look in the thread just two threads down? I made a pretty convincing Z06 Vette sound WITH pops, bangs and splutter in high rpms as well as in low...so please use your eyeballs before requesting something that's already there on top of the thread list.;)
  6. I had some samples laying around, ready to go,so here's one more sound for y'all:D It's not radically different from the original, but it's meatier, more open and less synthetic...so have fun with it! ...and btw, Exige is probably one of the best handling cars in the game(and for real too;)),in HC mode of course, because it's not plagued by extreme understeer so much ,as about 90% of cars in game sadly are... File: http://files.filefront.com/Exige+240R+audiobnk/;13440718;/fileinfo.html Volcanoclimb:D
  7. It looks good, but will it get finished?
  8. Madpioneer: Yes,I know, that annoying thing is just one of many...I wish the game was more open so it can be truly moded, including the physics by removing the moon gravity and extreme understeer from the otherways pretty solid simulation mode(HC)...and as for your carwatcher's carieer:cheeky:, I can just say I'm jelous cuz we rarely see something really nice around here and also, all American cars are like unicorns in these parts:D... Shy Guy: I just tried the ZR1 mod and it's good, but not finnished(hope it gets done):(...anyhoo, I remember seeing it when there was nothing changed ,but black painted roof so I forgot about it:o...
  9. haha:lol: never mind man, it's the thought that counts!;) wow,now I'm impressed and flattered:o;). It's gotta be a high praise coming from an actual Vette owner!:D Maybe it's not that special, owning a Vette in Texas, but in these parts, I've seen it in person maybe 5 times in my lifetime...and that was a standard C4...so thx! +a little rant: I wish this game didn't have all this stupid limitations, like 4 bit quality instead of 16bit(a lot is lost in the conversion), mono instead of stereo(lots of garbage in the conversion so I try and split the channels and other trickery, but that's not the solution really) ,sometimes game crashes with custom 44100kHz sounds so I use 22kHz(again you loose high sounds and quality),quiet engine level(so you have to amp it up to the point when it starts to distort, although I have all sounds(in game)on half and only engine to full and also transmission sounds to almost mute),it goes on and on...:crying:
  10. If you say so.;):) btw. It seems youtube has retarded HAL9000's brother assigned to processing videos and deciding which is HD and which isn't,as it sometimes decides not to let you display the HD version ,although it's exactly the same quality as the other video which IS available in HD! ...and it doesn't stop there, you can add on the end of the address line * &fmt=18 * (without asterisks) to watch it in HD,but even then it's some hybrid between standard and HD quality...weird:confused:
  11. The Corvette is probably the best American sports car, and the new ZR1(will someone mod the Z06>ZR1 please?) seriously kicks ass:drool:,but it also has an awesome sounding V8 engine:excited:, which accidentally wasn't so well represented originally in the game...so I took it upon myself to awesomeize:D the sound and make it more fun to squeeze that gas pedal!;) The end result doesn't satisfy me 100% and it sounds somewhere between Z06 and C6R(not bad in itself),but it's the best I could do with the samples I had so...that's that, enjoy! File: http://files.filefront.com/C6+Z06+audiobnk/;13434510;/fileinfo.html Some hooning about::D Z06 example: p.s. There's couple of glitches in the video which aren't present in the sound itself;) +youtube sucks... p.p.s. Works great on Saleen S7 too(although you loose the turbos;))
  12. Well,I haven't got samples for it, but try this, put the clk55 sound on something without a turbo and that sounds pretty close to m3 e46 inline-6;) btw. variant of that sound is used on wiesmann which has this engine so... just mind that it goes up to 6700rpm,so don't put it on a car that goes over that,or just take the wiesmann sound and amp it up a little, cuz it's kinda quiet;)
  13. The original files(Microsoft ADPCM wav) are 44100kHz,4bit and mono,so you should stick with that, also there is a limit to file size which is somewhere around 800kb(go over and you won't hear it). I didn't find length of samples an issue.... Furthermore, I've found that saving it at rate of 44100kHz for some reason can hang the game(16bit will do that too),so in the end I'm usually saving files at 22kHz(crappier,but stable and halves the size),4bit,mono. You can work with the file in audacity for example, save it as whatever and then convert it to this values in your regular windows sound recorder(simplest/fastest). Good luck!;) I've tried myself, recording the nfs sounds, but you can't really hold it stable and making it sound like the pedal is full on(to get the full sound)for all RPMs so I gave up on that... btw used a MOMO wheel. It's a shame, because NFS serial has some of the best car sounds in games ever!...:(
  14. Hold your horses, Skepsis to the rescue!:hiho::D I've been working on a corvette Z06/C6R sound(really racecar/grunty kinda sound) for a few days, It'll probably be ready and uploaded tomorrow...need to spend some time with ma gril and go out, drink absurd quantities of alcohol and such nonsense...;):cheeky::D Have a nice weekend guyz'n'grlz!:monkeydance:
  15. Now that you've mentioned it,it does sound pretty close to this madness of a car!:D:nuts: (never thought that old devil screamed that high!) +With my sound you can hear the splutter as it shift gears rather slowly, sweet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDwR9PWrJ4M p.s. Saladine made a good one specifically for this car though.
  16. To all,THX for support!:D +u can put it on anything you like;)
  17. :o uh,oh,I'm not sure about that, but thank you!:D p.s. more audio goodness to come, stay tuned!:cheeky::)
  18. I've found it works great on the Jaguar xj220. Sweet performance & handling+best bonnet view!:) Only snag(if you're picky) is that it has 5 gears...
  19. Well, that's because it practically is a racecar for the road:cool:,i.e. 360GTC has just 15HP more,180kg less and slicks.;) Also, mine(sound) has a a tuned exhaust that's much more open(racecar like)than the stock so yeah, you're right there. Can't resist showing more videos:nuts:, listen to the third car in this one(Capristo exhaust),that was inspiration for the bangs and pops!:drool: I know what you're saying. This is actually the third time I've installed the game!:) First time was long ago with a crappy computer and a keyboard, just in normal mode(finnishing the game). Second time, better computer, discovered HC mode with a low end steering wheel, downloaded some sounds from the net...and now the third time, really good computer(fps constantly 75-85:excited:@1600x1024,4AA,max settings),MOMO wheel, only HC mode, downloading all kinds of stuff for the game and this time even moding and uploading my stuff.:D That's my history with TDU...
  20. Thank you all for your comments!:) Now to answer some stuff... Nope, just official Ferrari black color(w/o stripe) and a set of rims I made out of Elise's. Since I like to share my stuff:cheeky:, I'll put them up in the first post for y'all.:) It's a Kreissieg exhaust.(a little bird told me;)) If you payed attention, you'd have heard in the video that the real thing goes even higher in pitch(half to whole tone!),so no, it's not "too high pitched".;) ...if you only like the rims, you can have that then...:oook: I'm sorry to disappoint you,but I have no samples for those cars... p.s. No one knows what's the youtube deal??
  21. As the original in-game sound, to keep it short, sucks big hairy...hamster:lol:, and after I've seen some(or better yet, HEARD) jaw-dropping youtube movies(and of course top gear), I had to do it properly! It took some time, but what can I say, just listen to that screaming choir of cylinders from hell!:nuts: This video was my biggest inspiration(among others) and that's the sound I was going for.(btw it's not a stock exhaust!;)) Listen to this jaw dropping awesomness!:excited: Now mine:  Sound File: http://files.filefront.com/f360+stradale+audiozip/;13374647;/fileinfo.html mirror@ http://rapidshare.com/files/246395260/f360_stradale_audio.zip Rims: http://files.filefront.com/Elise+black+aluminum+rimzzip/;13377324;/fileinfo.html p.s. What is wrong with youtube, I made this movie the same quality as the Viper before, but it won't show this one in HD?! Who or what decides that?? p.p.s. You're welcome to comment my work:D
  22. Thank you, I spent a lot of time doing this stuff, in detail, so much so that I'm starting to annoy my girlfriend! hihihi Good ear Djey, although I gave a hint few posts up.;) p.s. 360 Stradale sound coming up soon, and you'll need a fresh pair of undies for that one!:lol:
  23. You're welcome to use it,it really sounds almost identical(video)!:) ...was wondering how long until guys with beemers in their avatars&sigs react:D:cheeky:;)
