  1. :monkeydance: hehe it's not a bug my friend;) ,I just don't bother with interior gauges(includes the one in bumper view)when I do HUDs ,cuz I only play with bonnet view(exterior gauge) and I do this things for myself ,but I'm not selfish ,so I usually pack them with the sound:cool:...You're free to do the interior gauges yourself if you want to ,half of the work is already done for you...;)
  2. Well it was a trick ,but it sounds like it does go that high ,and if you mean in the sense that you can put it on something that goes up to 8000 ,unfortunately I have no new samples to do that and pitch shifting existing samples would make it sound crappy ,so right now ,the answer is no...
  3. Skyline's camera isn't that good for the bonnet view(interior is ,cuz it's meant for that car),it's too much up and to the front ,xj220 is best for the bonnet view so far... p.s. The sound could also be used for some other V6 cars ,like audis(with V6),R32,NSX(mod)etc...
  4. READ THE FIRST POST! ...uhh ok, I made it and it's included with the sound.
  5. Firstly ,thx guys!:) Secondly ,don't put the car/sound on the m12gto ,cuz it redlines at 7500 so you'll have stalling sound after 7200. Like shy guy said ,if you want it on a noble ,put it on the m400. Try the xj220 camera on the noble ,looks like that in the video.(best if you use the bonnet view that is) And ruf r turbo's IK.
  6. hmm I wasn't able to do the "hot swapping" of the camera positions like you said tool... Would you describe precisely what you did to change cameras without restarting the game?
  7. I'll keep it short ,I've recorded a new set of samples ,thus here is the new sound. It's supposed to be the stock version and I further plan to make that tuned cat-back trumpetish variant if I can ,so watch this space!:) Also ,I've made a sweet gauge for it too:D,it's packed with the sound. Enjoy! p.s. I've put my gt-r on the Jaguar xj220 ,but you can also put it on the noble m400,RUFs aaand that's about it for that level of performance turbo cars...the sound goes up to 7200rpm. +luckily we finally have the camera "editor" with the new TDU modding tools(otherwise noble and rufs wouldn't work) ,everybody say thank you to Djey! file@ http://files.filefront.com/Nissan+GT+R+sound+gaugezip/;13848306;/fileinfo.html mirror@ http://rapidshare.com/files/240464572/Nissan_GT-R_sound___gauge.zip Speed limit...what speed limit?:cheeky: **************************************************************************** Here we go ,as promised ,the tuned version(think HKS GT570-ish). It's not vastly different from the first one(stock) and youtube quality certainly doesn't help ,so download it and try it for yourself ,you won't regret it!;) btw it comes with and without the BOV(bov is kinda strange on this sound so you won't hear it perfectly every time(even worse if you chose a car that shifts faster(ie. m400)),but if I didn't include it ,there would be loads of people asking for it ,so you have options now.:) p.s. I've included the gauge with this one too for convenience;) file@ http://files.filefront.com/nissan+gt+r+tuned+sound+ezip/;13853950;/fileinfo.html mirror@ http://rapidshare.com/files/240873798/nissan_gt-r_tuned_sound___gauge.zip scaring people at the golf resort...sidewise:twisted:
  8. http://rapidshare.com/files/240424854/Common.bnk here you go,it seems file got deleted from filefront...
  9. Looking mighty good there!:D btw. I think there should be on all pages of the forum a "box" or something highly visible with direct links to Djey's magic bnk1.map and his modding tools to avoid the MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ,why doesn't "xxxxx" work for me and how do I "xxxxx"...
  10. Kewl! In your face Djey!:monkeydance:;):D
  11. Wait the minute,so it doesn't even function like with 3dmodels/sounds(just alt-tab/win button when in dealership, change files/samples and back in the game)? I have to restart the game every time? (I'm not whining, just asking;))
  12. got my hopes up for nothing...we need "requests" in the sound modding part of the forum too.
  13. You deserve an UBERMODDER title man ,thank you!:thumbsup::thumbsup: One question though ,regarding the camera views ,is it possible to program one button so that when you're in the game ,you can change camera positions on the fly ,like cycling through all of them one by one each time you press the button? :confused:That would be SO MUCH easier:thumbsup: than renaming the model zillion times and trying classically to find the a good view first and then changing it from outside of the game. Tell me you can do that please!:ill: p.s. big THX again for your hard work ,keep it up!
  14. I already did some sounds with recorded samples from gtr evo,I've also downloaded a lot of modded sounds for gtr,but they were frankly crap...if you have some links of any good sound mods from gtr evo or rfactor, please do share them, good sound is a good sound,no matter where it came from!;) I personally have it increased two fold over the original(also transmission noise almost muted). You can try mine: http://files.filefront.com/Commonbnk.../fileinfo.html
  15. It shouldn't be complicated at all, just rename the original file to something else, copy the new one in the folder(hires/gauges) and make sure you have magic bnk1.map installed. Other than that there's nothing else you could(should)do...
  16. Oh well, you can't have it all...in tdu,as well as irl;)
  17. Hmm ,tried it when it came out,but I don't remember if it's any good(better) in the modding sense...
  18. Kurgan you missed the best choice,ascari kz1!;) looks great,good views,nice performance,my murcie v12 sound works;)...anyhoo try it!
  19. Thx man ,currently I'm recording off of pro street...for example ,you can't do anything in undercover(even worse controls)...hope the new one(shift) is going to be better...and more sim-like...
  20. I have Logitech's MOMO wheel ,so the problem isn't on my side ,but in controls implementation within the game ,in short ,most of the time it acts like it's digital(on/off) despite trying to dose the gas precisely with the pedal...:oook:
  21. Nice to see a 3D modder in this part of the forum:cheeky:. Anyhoo ,you're right ,I'm not completely satisfied with the sound ,but that's the best I could do with the samples I had(and with TDU's limitations,it's always going to sound say 30% worse:( than the original source of the sound). I think sound modding is rather more tricky than 3D modding in the sense that it's not exact ,you have your certain dimensions and shapes to replicate and it can be either right or wrong ,but with sounds ,everyone seems to hear them slightly different and even if you make a "perfect" one ,there'll be someone saying it has to be more like this or that. Also ,I wish I could have ,for example ,NFS samples there for the taking(cuz there are some great ones)and not go through the annoying recording phase ,which is that much harder ,because there are some extra sounds which you can't shut off ,so you have to avoid them and worse of all ,the NFS's controls suck hard ,so recording a steady sample is a pain really...uff,this reply got long quickly:o;)...Anyways ,enjoy my sound mods!:)
