Oh wow I didn't know the game has actually been released. Big question: - Can you "lock" the day or night driving so that you can drive in night full time? Same for day driving. - Can you "lock" the weather so you can have thunderstorm raining condition at all times? :coolspot:

Ah that sucks to hear. I hope not. I want to drive in heavy rain for hours or days. Same goes for the night driving. 25 minutes (if so) won't cut it for me. I also want road get flooded in some area, but is not required. I like the sound of that cause in other games like Toca2 (old touring car racing game) and GTR you have option to permanently set the weather. I like having more control over the game, not game control me... :)

That's your opinion. I am NOT talking about Online Multiplayer mode, I'm talking about in *Single Player Mode*. I need info from someone who actually has more detail info on this. Anyone?

I gave up waiting on this game just right before March of 2010, funny the game is back in business. Well, good! I'm all for it. BIG QUESTION: Will you able to *CONTROL* the weather and Day and Night driving? I don't want it to cycle through automatically, I want to have an option for me to SET the weather to RAIN/THUNDERSTORM in full time so I can drive in the rain as long as I want. Same goes for the Day and Night, I want to have control to set to Night ONLY so I can drive in the night as long as I want. Anybody has info on this??? .

what's the spec on your pc? Or maybe you got too much junk (unnecessary programs) running the background or as a service. I would recommend have you create 2 partitions, 1 for strictly for internet browsing, playing blu-ray, and other work stuff. The other 1 for strictly for gaming. It is so clean it's not even funny... Also, use faster hard drives, something like 2 or 4 10k rpm raptor drives run it in raid0. Having enough ram doesn't mean it'll be faster. It still has to access data off the hard drive and that takes time so you need faster hard drive as well. Mine defrags each drive (or partition) in 2 minutes. it's lightening quick. lol :monkeydance:

And delete that every week...... if you play this game a lot then I would say delete it every time before you start the game. love me too now.:D

it would be awesome to add underwater tunnels(covered with glass) to get to other islands. Make it the future of Hawaii.... it's gonna be fun as hell. :monkeydance:

^ I guess you guys are right.. It's a bit of stretch to incorporate those mega maps in to TDU2. I guess what i meant to say is think of the possibilities like BobbyV pointed out... there is great potential with today's technologies even.. IIRC the TDU1 developers used satellite images to develop the map of Oahu.. Apply the same technique for the rest of United States... if not, try other smaller countries like Germany or Japan... but yea, it's easier said then done. hehehehe...:cry:

For TDU2, I wish they release mega map package (to be sold separatedly), something like by country: - United States (map size: 500 GB - multiple blu-ray media) $150 - Germany (map size: 90 GB - multiple blu-ray media) $100 - Japan (map size: 120 GB - multiple blu-ray media) $100 - Australia (map size: 450 GB - multiple blu-ray media) $100 Something like that..... that would be great. Hawaii, Oahu island is just way too small... You know we got Mega packs for cars, so why not to have mega packs for maps? I would love to drive in Autobahn in Germany. You get a nice smooth stretched road there. That is what the buyers want. :monkeydance:

No I want them to be driven so you can run over other smaller vehicles. Would be nice to to be able to run over cops to, or push them off the cliff or something. May not be practical.. i donno, but I think it'll be cool.:lol: Don't underestimate those Tractors and Dump trucks they can be pretty fast.:lol: ohh I forgot... include some Pickup trucks too, like Toyota Tundra 4x4 or Ford pickup or something.
