That list only gives an indication about cars and bikes that can possibly make it to the UP. Some of those cars will be replaced by other, more recent or interesting cars. And it all depends on available models, time, sweat and personal preferences of the Mod team. V04 will be good. Sometimes a little patience will be rewarding.
-
Lol, you're addicted:D Like the guy with the sleepingbag in front of the store:lol: But TBH, you probably have to be a little more patient. V04 will be good, but is still WIP:cool:

Only thing that can get you into trouble is to illegally unlock DLC or play with a cracked copy of the game. TDU2-UP does NOT unlock DLC but only adds new cars and unfinished/unreleased cars.
-
Nope, not you. :D Looking forward to the finished stuff.

Mod Wars part.2; The Sound Squabbles :eek2: C'mon guys...
-
Maybe it can use some more grunt in the lower sections. But considering these soundfiles are made from Youtube videos, that do not have the best recording quality available, it is a top job. At least it sounds like an Aventador, lol. Remember most default car sounds don't even slightly resemble the real sounds of those cars. I know a thing or two about sounds as i once made a Lotus sound for GPL, back in the medieval days of racing games, when people were still smoking and girls still wore clothes. To get a clean loop without hickups or ticking sounds is really difficult. Also to get the right transition between low rev and high rev samples takes some effort. I think Jorge does an excellent job, a lot better than some sound "engineers" from development studios. And as long as sound modders do not have access to real samples of factory recordings, i think it is pointless to complain about it. Everybody has their own preferences about how a car should sound, but i think Jorge does a pretty good job in making it sound as realistic as possible, with the given resources. Just enjoy the cool additions that are given to the community by the TDU2-UP Team. PS Jorge, i can make this text longer, but than you have to double the usual fee :D

He posted an Aventador trailer in this thread earlier.;) Almost forgot that one. Good catch. I don't play a lot in cockpit view anymore as i don't like the rubber neck head panning. If that wobbling could be switched off, i would play a lot more in cockpit view. :D

Will you complete this model and make it available to the TDU2-UP team as an addon car? It looks very good
-
Looks awesome. Will you finish this car and add it to the TDU2-UP project as an addon car? Would be cool.
-
Must be a translator hickup. In answer to Neddo's question, there are a few trailer videos of upcoming TDU2-UP V04 cars on Shadee43's Youtube channel and more. My Polish is as fluent as my Swahili, so don't ask for more translation. But this is an English forum so please post in English only, thank you:D As soon® as testing has progressed further i will post a few teaser driving demos, with permission off course. Until then you will have to be patient.

Opening Post:cool: Usually contains some useful info:D

This^ Exactly the reason why it won't happen. In addition to that, the limit is 288kph (L4 tuned) and not 250.

TDU2-UP adds new slots. And also fixes a lot of bugs and flaws. Check the OP or the UP Website for a list of updates.
-
OT: You can fiddle around a bit with spring and damper settings, or even use the drift mode and set it to -1 or something like that, but it will only create some (progressive) centering and dampening effects and no real FFB from the roads. Off road there will be a bit more resistance. So there is an FFB file working, but it is broken or incomplete. Also depending on brand and type of wheel i suppose. Maybe your CSR is better supported, as it is a M$ certified device. But there is no native support in the database.
-
There is no "real" working FFB in TDU2. Just some controller rumble. It is one of the things that could greatly be improved if those files become accessible. I use "artificial FFB" on my Fanatec CSW. With the G25 there was some weight in the wheel before DLC2. Some say there is a little FFB with a Driving Force GT or T500RS. But not quite as it should be. To get the UP completely working, including fixes like holes in cockpits and offset wheels corrections, you will need to unpack the game to get all benefits. And only the unpacked version will get new rides.
-
Be careful who you accuse. Anybody with access to those files can have given them to others. I know i did not. And judging from your reaction i suppose you did not either. But it might just as well be a modder who has been spreading the goods around. Just saying.... Some new files to test. V04 is starting to get alive.

1. There is no "stock" Supra sound as it is an "aftermarket" UP-addon car. 2. Do you really question jorgemodek's sound skillz?:lol:
-
+1 The Casino server was offline during Sunday and Monday. And that is completely UP unrelated. Fortunately they have been rebooted and everything is green again now. V04 will be good. Testing in progress :D
-
This^ RS6 is no UP car btw. But most cars in that class go 288 km/h max tuned. Funny thing is that it is the same IRL. You can ask Audi, but also BMW and Mercedes to remove the limiter. Top speeds will be increased to around 285 km/h, but you will have to take an advanced driving course or proof you can handle those speeds. Each brand has a slightly different approach but the results are similar. UP wont change performance figures as that would make the game unbalanced to non UP users.
-
Yes, this is a well known bug, also known by the carmodeler Reventon9. ATM there is no solution for it. Maybe in a later version of the patch it will be fixed. Still a lot of work on V04 before release. So be patient, it will get there:D
-
lol:D Nice sound again  Pop-off during upshifts as well:cool:
-
So your bikes are not a part of the UP? Why post them here, because... It is confusing others, who think your bike will be part of the next UP release. They do look good BTW. I hope they will be part of the UP one day.
-
Or this :D My TDU2 avatar never gets a proper meal, only Fruit Smoothies in the Casino. Aventador is coming to TDU2
-
To decrypt Valve time, you need Atari's Cypher of Soon® Hope that helps.;) :D

Very cool Models. Will these all be part of the next version of the TDU2-UP or are you just shamelessly advertising your other work here? :eek2: If so, i suggest you only post cars in this thread that will be part of the UP, to avoid confusion. ;) Players will expect these to pop up in their game when they install V04. Just a thought. Problem with the Solar Crown races is that you can win with 20 or even 30 sec advantage. The Ai is not challenging at all. A better Ai or adaptive Ai would have been much better. Than everybody gets a challenge that match your skills. Now they are way too easy. Higher rewards for single events, like in TDU1 are an option as well. That should be possible.
