Keeps crashing TDU. What's up with that? Do I need the thing that allows a larger file size?

Yeah, thanks! I got my stuff in yesterday. Installed my new GPU, PSU, and processor. It runs great! I haven't been able to play TDU though with the new rig, I'm at a different house :(.

Yeah. The PSU actually has over a 500W output (as displayed on the table), ut it only says 400W. It runs everything fine.

Yeah but the 8600GT is much better than the 8500GT. They aren't even close. Hell, the 8800GT/GTX/Ultra was one of the best cards when it came out, but my old 8500GT sucks. I got like 10-15FPS on TDU with low settings and lower resolution. It's no good! I got my 4850HD and 400W Corsair and was able to install my new dual-core. Should be able to run like max settings now, but I haven't played TDU yet with that rig. At a different house at the moment :(.

Lol, the Corsair 400W runs my rig fine. It's more than enough. Besides, the "450W requirement" is only a recommendation.

Aww man, you should make a version with the E46 GTRs that race in the GT3 class.

Once I get my 4850HD, I'll do a run with you guys. Until then, TDU is no fun with my 8500GT :(.

Yeah that run was actually pretty crappy. The car is a little grippy, so in a sense a little unrealistic, but loads of fun. And no, I was only going like 40mph on the hairpins lol.

Well guys I've been getting all positive feedback on a tech support forum, only one out of about 20-25 people said I wouldn't be good. So I think I'm going to have to take their word for it. Generally speaking, people who visit tech support forums usually have a good knowledge and experience of computers.

Well now on Thursday night I bought a 4850HD, which I think will run TDU great. Also I got an AMD 64 X2 6400+ 3.2Ghz Black Edition dual-core to upgrade from my AMD 64 4000+ 2.6Ghz single-core. A big performance boost overall! I'm hoping I'll be able to run 60FPS+ with that setup, as opposed to like 10-15FPS >.>

Oh, okay cool. I will be sure to check you out (lol, not that way :P). And yeah I love VLN. I also like the new TCL mod, though I haven't spent much time on it so far. I'm waiting for my new PSU and graphics card to come so I can also put in my new processor, and then I'll finally be able to run 40+ cars stably. Also be able to play TDU decently - uhhg, finally! I can't wait. I tried editing my post but it never showed up, so yeah.

Well I've been nothing but positive feedback form many people on a Tech Support Forum, so I think I will be fine as long I don't overclock anything. I tried two power supply calculators and one came up with 352W and another 278W, so I should be fine. If I notice my computer freezing, then I will know what it is.

This mod let me down a little, but I still love it. The of the E46 M3 GTR is so amazing, the transmission whines so loud. The re-texture of the Nordschliefe tracks by Com8 are also really nice. GTR Evolution is fun itself too ;). I'm more into sim-racing games like these than TDU, but TDU is fun. And nice sig, Kelvjy. Buckethead is my favorite guitarist ever next to Jimmy Page. He is so diverse and is an amazing song-writer. It pisses me off when people claims he always shreds, but that's just because they haven't heard his really good songs like "Sketches of Spain" and "Witches On the Heath." I just downloaded the entire Electric Tears album and it's just so emotional. Death Cube K for life! Much respect to you too. Maybe we can talk sometime :D.

Too late now. However, I can hold ASUS or Newegg responsible for forgetting to mention a very critical requirement. Ahh you got me all nervous now I think I'm going to screw up my computer!

It does say it for some cards, but now for all of them.

Okay. Well I'll try the Corsair and if it doesn't work then I'll need a new one -.- I still think the Corsair should be able to run it.
